The food isn’t to bad. The only reason I give it 2 stars is because they are always out of pies. Call in morning and reserve an order for later in day. Then when arrive to pick up they used your order for another customer. So now you can’t get what you ordered and had planned for then too late to go or do some other arrangement because ocharleys dropped the ball.

When we were seated we weren’t given silverware nor napkins. My husband and I both ordered the tilapia. My entire meal: entrée and salad was brought out at the same time. My husband only received his salad. I’ve been finished with my entire meal for 5 minutes and he still doesn’t have his entrée. Oops, as I finished typing his entrée arrived. Better late than never.

Fantastic!!! I’ve always been a fan of this chain but especially the Lafayette location. I’ve never had a bad experience here, awesome rolls, great food(i always get the French dip!), and amazing service. The management is always friendly and respectful, Trish was very kind and made sure we were doing well. The servers are always nice and seem to be enjoying their jobs, my server was Madeline and she was fantastic! She was very knowledgeable and friendly, I will always request her now. 5 stars for this place all the way. Keep it up guys!

Not great, but I’ve been to worse. Annoying server that can’t take responsibility for her mistakes… Jenny?

Over Thanksgiving break, my wife and I visited our daughter and son-in-law in West Lafayette and we ate dinner here one night. I was very impressed. We ate there on «free pie» Wednesday and although I expected it to be mobbed, we didn’t have to wait for a table when we arrived at around 5:30.(The fact that it was Thanksgiving-eve might have had something to do with this.) Our dinner started with delicious hot rolls(refilled without our asking). My wife, daughter and I all had their chicken tender special dinner($ 9.95) with«twisted chips»(i.e., homemade potato chips). The tenders were superb; the chips were pretty good but not, in my opinion, quite as good as the homemade potato chips that Applebee’s now makes. The portions of both chicken and chips were large, and we all took home some(they make an excellent breakfast). My SIL had a fried chicken sandwich and seemed to like his meal as well. Service was very friendly but there were some glitches in accuracy(I suspect this is the fault of the kitchen rather than our waitress). MYSIL was served a grilled chicken sandwich rather than a fried chicken one. That was promptly corrected but then he did not get the sweet potato fries that he had upgraded to. Again, that was promptly corrected, and he was told to just keep the regular order of fries that he had been mistakenly served. My daughter ordered the chicken tenders with a side of jabanero sauce(you get a choice of dipping sauces with this dinner), and she wound up being served some kind of dish where the sauce was already on the chicken. My wife had apple pie for desert, packed to go; I had a slice of french silk pie and although I was full I ate it there anyway, figuring it wouldn’t transport well. It was quite tasty, and better than the apple pie, which we wound up eating(well, I should say I wound up eating) on the road trip home a few days later. Next time we visit our daughter, I know where’ll we’ll be eating on Wednesday night.

An Applebee’s type-place but with more of a Southern slant and with(in my opinion) significantly better food(I really, really hate Applebee’s though). The prices are surprisingly high for the area, especially for breakfast; you’ll do much better at one of the local diners. Dinner prices are more reasonable, with most entrees under $ 15 and many around $ 10. I had their famous buttermilk chicken tenders & twisted chips($ 10) and both the tenders and the chips were really excellent. It was a very hearty portion(especially after filling up on their wonderful hot rolls and sweet butter) and I was able to leave half over for lunch. Can’t really beat two good meals for $ 10. If you go on Wednesday night you get a slice of free pie w/purchase of an entrée. They happily gave us the pies to go but neither of us thought they were all that great(I had caramel, my husband had peach). This is apparently the place to be in Lafayette, at least on Wednesday, The parking lot was absolutely overrun when we arrived but fortunately the wait was only about 10 minutes. The service was incredibly friendly but very slow, perhaps due to how crowded it was.

We didn’t even sit down since we stood for several minutes at the host stand while several employees glanced at us but none offered to seat us. The final straw was the gentleman who stared at us while putting his earbuds in while working the bar area

The Pepsi was so watered down. Then the was all crust no filling and look mush on plate and it was not warm they just through on the plate.

Dined here at least twice a week during nursing school a few years ago, have frequented it ever since. Jenny was always a great waitress that stuck out. Never once had a bad meal here, no problems with the check, always been treated like a valued customer, and I appreciated it. Highly recommended.

The food was too salty. I took a box for a whole dish that I ordered extra and forgot to take it. Just after few minutes I came back, and the manager said they threw it away. Who takes a box if they don’t want it? Very bad hospitality. Never going back.

We go every Wednesday night for free pie but I work until 9 so it’s normally 915 when we get there and they close at 10. The service is still out of this world and we are never treated like they r closing and we need to hurry up. The food is fast and fresh and our servers rock the house. Always a good value and recommend it to my friends everyday!

This is one of my favourite restaurants in lafayette. The louisiana sirloin is amazing and one of the best steaks I have had. My husband and I love to sit up at the bar. They have this male bartender(can’t remember his name) but he makes the best drinks, he is always friendly and good at what he does. My kids love to get the cotton candy drinks.

We went for dinner Tues 12⁄30 around 5PM. Our server Jared was a pro. Did a fantastic job and didn’t leave us hanging even though he was assisting with a large party seated nearby. Food was great, although the cheese for the tater tot fondue was rather salty. Sirloin steak and chicken tender combo was prepared nearly perfect. Wish we could have stayed longer as we were pressed for time but will be sure to return again when in the area.

I saw the Grand Opening signs on Sagamore parkway and wondered what was opening. then i realized O’Charley’s had new signage, so i figured they did a remodel or something. On the inside the place looks great. Everything brand new, modern but not cold, lots of smaller booths. I was impressed just looking at the place. The waitstaff is dressed upscale… everything they did in there looks perfect. It is the cleanest restaurant I have ever seen, likely due to the newness, but still. My service was excellent and the food is better than I remember. Not sure if they tweaked the menu or what since it has been a while since I visited. I ordered a $ 8 lunch combo of cajun chicken pasta and a house salad with bleu cheese. Everything was perfect. Way better than the garbage you get at Applebee’s…it tasted like real food! The rolls they brought before lunch were the square yeast rolls and served with sweet whipped butter. I love that stuff. My daughter got a kid meal of corn dogs and mandarin oranges. It was kid food, nothing special, but I was pleasantly surprised the corn dogs were not served BLAZINGHOT like most places serve kids food. Yes, most adults don’t want their food to be cooled off. But ALL parents want their kid’s food to be cool. Only $ 3.99 though which is better than some places do on kid meals. I will be going back with the wife and other kid soon!

We landed here for lunch before leaving for a trip down south. The service was speedy and responsive. The value was good and our food was fantastic. Even had some leftovers for a second meal. We landed here on the day they gave out free pie and it was freakin delicious!

Hostess Left Us Standing In The Middle Of The Restaurant Because She Was Confused. Finally She Sat Us In A Nice Booth By The Server Station Where 5 Servers Just Started Their Shift. No One, I Guess, Had Our Section And After 10 Min. With No Drink Order We Left. Strange!

Everyone almost enjoyed their meal this Sunday, except for my poor bf who footed the bill. He ordered the Southern-Fried Chicken Sandwich(sans veggies and mayo). When he received it it was missing an important part — the bacon! We had to wait a bit for the waitress to come back around. She promptly tried to take care of the situation and inform the manager. However, the manager was just an idiot and brought out two pieces of bacon on a separate plate ten minutes later when the rest of the uneaten sandwich was already cold. We received no explanation whatsoever. On the upside, it was the first time I tried the Santa Fe Tilapia. It was pretty good with perfectly seasoned and grilled fish, accompanied by spicy pico de gallo, rice pilaf and broccoli.

Near the Tippecanoe Mall, this location is pretty popular. During busy times you may have to wait to be seated. The food is typical pub food at a good price. The loaded potato soup and the chicken salad are the highlights. I have been here numerous times and I have no complaints. Friendly, fast service even during lunch times. There is a nice lunchtime special that is nicely priced. You get a small sandwich or pasta entrée along with a soup or salad.

Yikes! My stomach always turns a little whenever I think of O’Charley’s. I wish I would have written this sooner, and I wish I would have complained to the manager when it happened but really I was in too much of a shock to even let myself think of it. This happened a few years ago, and so I hope this waiter is not around anymore. But it’s the lack of attention(to the following situation and so probably more) that would prevent me from ever eating at O’Charley’s ever again. Our waiter had some sort of extreme hand eczema/dermatitis so that his hands were very red and peeling really badly. That is clearly not his fault but I’m not sure how much food he should be handling. Anyway, thankfully we were sited close to the soda station because we were able to observe this: when he went to get our drinks he dunked his hands into the ice and kind of moved them around in there for a bit. Yes, the ice that they then use to put into cups. The ice that he used to put into OUR cups. As I watched this horrified I had to make up a quick excuse to make him go back and give us two cups without any ice(clearly the person I was with was very confused why he was not getting ice). Then he brought over our food, his finger were inside of the plate, touching the outside of the food. Why did I stay for all of this? I’m telling you, serious shock.
