Snap Happy Picture People is a small but mighty photography company based out of Olympia, Washington. Founded by the husband and wife team of Michael and Peggie Ireland, they photograph the amazingly unique people western Washington including Olympia, Tacoma, Portland, Seattle, and even as far north as Vancouver, British Columbia.

History

Established in 2013.

Before settling in Olympia and opening Snap Happy Picture People, the couple was lucky enough to spend the last 3 years traveling the United States experiencing the best photography spots our great country has to offer.

Because one full-​time job isn’t enough, Peggie is also a full-​time Registered Nurse in Olympia, Washington. Along with the satisfaction of helping the people daily basis, being a nurse allows her to see a different side of people, a skill invaluable to her photography career.

Michael is a former long-​time game industry veteran who changed gears to turn his photography hobby into his full-​time obsession. Along with taking photos, Michael also has written a children’s book and is in the process of making it a trilogy.
