This is tough — I’ve done a little of everything… from banking, retail management to working for some of the biggest companies in the nation (Hallmark Cards)…enjoying {nearly} every minute of it. :)

Nearing the end of my last job, I decided to take destiny into my own hands and started Michael’s Assembly Service in 2006 and things just took off — before long I was getting calls from all over California (as well as other states)…but I found a small roadblock — the company name was limiting — so I changed it to Assembly Solutions in July 2008 and things have only gotten better.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading and listening to music — plus I’m a big ‘classic’ movie fan (have 45+ Academy Award Best Picture winners on DVD), plus I’m a devote family man to my 2 boys and beautiful wife — — with whom I’m about to celebrate 25 years of marriage this October (you don’t hear that all the time!).

For my son’s 2nd birthday we bought the Sahara playset by Gorilla from Costco. Assembly Solutions was the only recommended installer in our area. Upon calling, our installer, Michael, immediately knew which set we purchased, how it looked and what was necessary for the install. His familiarity and knowledge on the product was evident and he was able to answer all our questions regarding our install. Despite his demanding schedule Michael was able to fit us in relatively quickly and was very accommodating when we had to reschedule due to our turf install. On the day of the install Michael came prepared and worked very efficiently to have the work completed quickly and correctly. I appreciated his help in determining the best location and fit in our yard in including a preliminary set up to visualize the look before committing to that spot and position in my yard. Overall, Michael was quick, diligent, and helpful with a pleasant demeanor making it clear why he comes so well recommended.

Michael was phenomenal. Came out on a hot sunny day and setup our gorilla playset very nicely. He even picked up composite stakes to replace the cheap plastic ones that shipped with the playset. Leveled the ground so the playset is sturdy. Very professional! I know, we would not have been able like this ourselves, so totally worth it. Highly recommend Michael for your complex assembly needs.

Michael is very fast, efficient, and friendly. We had a queen size bed and cabinet assembled on two different days and we were very pleased with his service. Since he has many clients throughout the day (with varying times), be mindful that his arrivals will not be on the dot. That being said, he will always call/​text 30 minutes before he arrives. Highly recommended!

We recently used Michael to assemble a Gorilla play set and couldn’t be happier. He scheduled us quickly and showed up ready to work and was done in a few hours. He even took out some grass to make it more stable. Reasonable price if you would rather not spend a week putting it together yourself.

Michael was fantastic! We were able to schedule him while our swing set was in transit. He showed up on time and finished the assembly in a few hours. The work was great! We ordered some closets online and do not have the time nor the expertise to build them so we were in the market for someone who could install them for us. Lo and behold, we came across Assembly Solutions. With a five star rating here on Unilocal and great recommendations, we decided to call. We were quoted a very reasonable price and just had to wait a week or so for the install date, which was perfect for us. Assembly Solutions is usually booked well in advance. This is a good sign because they are in demand and are great at what they do.
Michael showed up at our home and did a wonderful job in building out and installing our closets from scratch. He followed the instructions and was able to do everything much faster and better than we could have ever done. He hauled any leftover trash outside and cleaned up after the job was complete. The prices were great and the service even better. We highly recommend Michael and Assembly Solutions to anyone that has a need for furniture, closet, or playground equipment assembly. We will definitely be using this service again!!!

My dad had a hard time installing a new computer desk because the manual that came with it was pretty confusing, so I search for a good assembly company on Unilocal and decided to go with this company, since they offers a 1 year warranty. I contact Michael via his email and was able to schedule the time that he could come in very easy that way. I also like the fact that he also accept Paypal payment. On the assembly day, Michael was able to assemble the computer desk in less than 3 hours. Me and my dad were pretty surprised about that, but he said he been doing it for a really long time, so it not a problem for him. He also was really nice and friendly. His price was also one of the lowest that I got, but I choose him over the other one, since he offered a one year warranty vs the other company, where they only offered a 30-​days warranty. Overall, the work quality and the price is great and I would definitely use his service again in the future.

I recently bought a play set for my daughter at Costco. I needed to complete installation by her birthday, which was in 3 weeks.
Here’s the thing: I can hold my own as a handyman around the house, but I knew this was going to be a big job. I have a full time job, so I’m thinking I’ll have time to work on it at night and over the weekend… so should be done in 3 wks.
Blah…I changed my mind. I prefer to have dinner with family after work and play golf over the weekend… so I called Michael from Assembly Solutions. I thought his reviews and pricing were good. The play set vendor also recommended him as their go to installer, so I hired him for the job.
Michael came early morning and was able to complete the installation in less than 5 hours. He also went over safety and maintenance information which I thought was super helpful Michael also found 2 missing wood pieces and even followed up with the vendor to have it delivered the following week. The area was cleaned up and spotless before he left.
He did a wonderful job and I would hire him again in a heartbeat. I’d be happy to recommend Michael for your assembly needs.

I made contact and was quoted a very reasonable price to assembly the two pieces of furniture. Michael is very good at getting the job done and quick. We bought a fairly large gorilla playset and he came out and built it for us in two days. He leveled out the play set great workmanship really nice to work with on time and I would definitely recommend him to anyone. Ever been frustrated, ever told your wife it would be 20mins that turns into 4 hours, ever felt like as a man you don’t need directions… all the above are true when it comes to iKea furniture. It looks so pretty in the show room, bringing it home is another story.
Thankfully there was assembly solutions, and even though I put the wardrobe together (wrong), he was kind enough to redo the whole thing again, and not emasculate me. I will use him every time I have to put together iKea furniture or any complex furniture for that matter. Truly flawless service.

Unilocal keeps filtering my post it is really frustrating. This is the third time I am trying. If it gets filtered I hope someone will still find this post.
Michael is a very customer friendly, positive and easy going person whom I found on Unilocal after searching for reasonably priced person who can put together a play structure. His communication via email was excellent and his work ethic is wonerful. He was flexible enough to change his work order so that we can go to Home Depot and get a sealant to seal the structure (Costco playset is not sealed, apparently!). He was efficient, professiona and clean. I highly recommend.

We purchased a large Play Set at Costco which was DIY… obviously we found out we weren’t DIY material so we hired Assembly Solutions and Michael was great. Professional from the phone conversations and during the assembly. Great work and in great time. Wonderful guarantee and very knowledgable. Michael spent a list 5 hours assembling a unit with a Murphy bed. He was clean, professional and reasonable in price for all the work he did. And in the end, the unit looked and functioned great
In the future I will definitely use him when I have complicated rta or other projects
