Called a few times and no answer. This isn’t the first time. It doesn’t feel like they want business very much.

Awesome food, extensive breakfast menu. My experience would have been a lot better if my waitress actually looked like she wanted to be there. She was uninterested and just asked me «what do you want?» Oh, well hello how are you? Thanks for asking. She obviously didn’t want to be there. Overall okay experience with a big ups to food.

Service was great but food was blah. I will give this place a second chance based on customer service.

Food was home made. You can tell when it is real food. Eggs were real, pancakes were just like mine at home. They were cooked perfectly. Just a little crispy on the edges… I LOVED them. This is our new go to spot. Can’t wait to try lunch! By the way, prices are more than fair. I just wish they had an organic option for my eggs. I would pay $ 2 more per plate just for organic eggs!

The food was good and staff was very friendly. The only reason I didn’t give this place 5 stars was due to the fries not having their crisp. They were cooked but not what you would expect out of fires. If you’re like me and prefer the fries over the burger you will understand my disappointment. Other than that it was good. They serve big portions and their drinks come in big cups. No need for refills.

Maxcy’s is one of those places that you can just show up and have a pretty good meal, well, at least breakfast, since that’s all I’ve had here every time I come. Relaxed atmosphere and servers are efficient. If you’re a regular here, the servers will welcome you by name. I like the fact that they have a pretty good selection of breakfasts, either American and some Mexican. I’ve had the menudo here in the past, and it’s very good. But today, I ordered the Greek omelette and my wife the machaca. I love the feta cheese in the omelette, very delish. And Bön’s machaca was very good, especially with sliced fresh jalapeños. Oooo, spicy. I’m serious, you like spicy food, order the machaca. I need to congratulate the chef the next time I’m here. So for a relaxed, dressed down place for good food, mosey on in here.

This place has good quality food and the nicest girls working there. Food comes out quickly. Great chili cheese omelette. The Reuben is also one of my favorites

Great food and very modest prices. An all-American diner.

I have had better bacon at McDonalds. Service was crap too. Also don’t go there if you can’t speak fluent Spanish. Staff is so rude.

Use to love the place but the service keeps getting worse and worse. Food is good. They need to work on the service skills bad! Hate waiting for the check after you asked for it 20 minutes ago.

I used to live here in La Quinta and would come here in my teens. I’m back for Coachella and decided to come by my old breakfast spot. The chorizo and eggs burrito is still amazing and the pancakes are still as buttery and melt in your mouth as it was a few years ago. Not a fancy smancy place but if you want a great breakfast, I’d def recommend this place.

I agree with those that say this isn’t a place for a fancy dinner, but, their food is soooo good that I would not be mad at my husband if he took me there on a date. I ALWAYS order the avacado bacon cheese burger and my goodness, the patty is seasoned so perfectly tgat my mouth is literally watering thinking about it. If you’re looking for delicious inexpensive food, this is the place to go. I will however«warn» you about the chili, it can be a hit and miss regarding the spice factor, but still so good

I was in there this morning for a Corizo and egg breakfast burrito. I was very disappointed. I do believe in getting what you pay for but this $ 8.16 burrito was worth at the very most $ 4.50. There was very little ‘chorizo’ taste there was very little overall burrito for that matter. It was a small portion burrito and for $ 8.16(that is the amount after tax) I expected more flavor and more burrito. I will not ever ask them to make that for me again. I encourage all that read this to never try their bland version of what should be a flavorful breakfast experience.

I come here when my car is at America’s Tire next door. The food is cheap and good. I’ve gotten good service when I was here. Awesome club sandwich.

My sister ordered a tuna melt and the bread had mold on it. I have to give it at least one star or the review won’t post.

Probably more like 3.5 stars. So far, the best breakfast option in the area. Lots of American and Mexican breakfast choices. The hash browns were fresh, not frozen, and weren’t overly greasy. There was no wait on a Sunday morning, which was a surprise. Service was friendly, and food came out quickly. I missed the specials board. There were plenty of choices on the regular menu, but the special items sounded really good as well. I will be back, for sure. I’ll definitely look for the specials board.
