Very simple place, nothing fancy, but if you want to get a smog check 1) at the lowest price (cash, no coupon needed), 2) done in about 10 minutes, and 3) very friendly, go to Smog Check for Less. Again, it is a very simply outfit but I’ll be back. Also, they are only in after 1pm or so, so be sure to call first. But I think you’ll be happy.

been coming to this place for the last few years! prices are very reasonable and the owner is calm, friendly, and loves conversation. service is mainly first-​come-​first-​served (i’m probably one of the ones holding up his appointments) but the owner is honest about his availability and his warm attitude is a welcome contrast to the otherwise industrial environment surrounding his business.
speaking of which, if i had to nitpick about anything, it would be the location of his shop. it is located in the center of a auto plaza full of body shops, repair shops, and other car paraphernalia… and parking is limited. however, it seems everyone there are on good terms so i’ve gotten away with parking anywhere and telling the closest mechanic that i was just there to get my vehicle smogged.
keep in mind that this is still a small business and not a huge smog station with hundreds of workers bustling around working on rows of cars. one car at a time and there is only one worker: the owner. if he is out, simply ask one of the neighboring shops and they will give you an idea of when he will be back.
anyhow, i highly recommend this place if you are shopping around for a smog place.

Yeah, so… no one is here. Tad frustrated, cause it was closed for business on a Saturday morning. I double check posted business hours (should be open) and even called the listed number (no answer).
I did run into another guy waiting. He shared that he was informed that there are days they show for work and other days they don’t.
From what I can tell, looks like a very small operation. Hand written signs. Tucked away in the middle of other (open) garages. Lucky for me, there are many check centers down the road that were open.
My recommendation, call first and ask how much. FYI, it’s $ 50 down the road.
Thumbs down, but if the prices is right, go if he’s there~

Asbolutely best smog check place I’ve ever been. I’m in charge of all of my family members’ cars… whether it is an engine problem, registration, tires, you name it. I’ve been to a few smog check places and this is by far the best.

I believe the guy who run’s the shop goes by Joseph. He’s friendly but not overly friendly where you feel awkward. There’s a chair you can sit on while you wait which is cool :).

This smog check store is pretty cool. Good price with fast service. I think I only stay there for less than 15 mins. The guy is pretty nice and kind. He loves my music track I’m playing in my car.
Can’t describe much about the experience there, cuz it’s just few mins, but it was amazing. I’ll definitely go back again!

The price is reasonable and he has them listed inside his shop. I was in and out within 20 min. The person that helped me was really respecful and nice. Being a girl I always hesitate and doing the «guy» things for my car because they tend to overprice you. The only thing that I didn’t like was that the parking is horrible. only one car fits per isle and everything is packed.

I came here today and didn’t have a wait probably because it’s the middle of the week. Joseph was a really friendly technician and he took care of the smog check in about 15 minutes. No hassles, quick and friendly service. Give the small guy your business!
