Went in to get my sedan smogged and was very pleased with the service.
Charged me 50.00 for my check, took 35 minutes, whoa! What a great deal honestly! A place near my work was charging 70.00 and I thought it was a little up there. Luckily I found this spot behind Midas.
Also, one of the service techs walked into the waiting area and offered everyone juice or water found in the refrigerator. That was very nice of him.
I can simply say I watched Ice Age as my service was performed. Happy camper! Thanks Javier.

Javier is very professional and polite. He did a thorough pre-​purchase inspection for my Lexus, right within the time frame that he promised. Highly recommend his shop, and will come back again for my future repair needs.

Courteous, fast, in & out in less than 40 min. HD TV in waiting room with theater seating and the discovery channel for your enjoyment. They have electrical outlets available for you to charge and play with your phone while you wait in the waiting room. This place is legit… I’m coming from a woman for all mechanics try to gouge women, everything went well. I will recommend this place.

Took my car to performance auto for the very first time. I met Javier he gave me a very decent price. Everyone else was over priced by $ 25-​$ 30 or more. Even after he gave me a quote he gave me a triple AAA membership discount. Very cool Other mechanics would never do that. I will definitely be a repeat customer

We all want a good mechanic with below prices but usually end with a low ballers who get you in the door and up-​sale you or a good mechanic who charges above market prices for there services.
Both of them pretty much suck however, sometimes we find a hidden gen like performance automotive. Needed a few things done for my car and he offered me a quote which was a little more then i wanted to spend (but still better price then other shops around my area) he also told me about two other options to buy used equipment for my car or buy aftermarket. Eventually we end up looking online at ebay and amazon to purchase after market equipment. Which ended up being within my price range.
Normally am really defensive when am at a mechanic shop but this company really did everything right in my book and has restored some faith that has been lost for many years to auto shops.

Javier is the man! I gave him a list of things my car needed given to me from a different mechanic, he gave me a price for everything but openly offered to double check things over, not only did he save me from spending an extra 100 dollars but he was also able to find a better deal on a part my car needed that would turn off my check engine light. I won’t take my Nissan anywhere else!

I’ve always taken my Scion to dealership for all it’s service needs, expensive yes but I always thought that they would keep my car well maintained with all it’s service needs. After being quoted over $ 8k for an issue on my car I decided to bring my car to Javier for him to check out. My car did need major service but not at that huge dealer cost. Javier thoroughly explained what was wrong with my car and quoted me ¹⁄₅ of what the dealer was trying to steal from me, and at no time did he make me feel pressured. He did the repairs on my car and my car is now running like new. Javier explained that my car needed transmission flushed every 30k miles, something the dealer NEVER said to me even though I just had the 75k service done. I’m so glad I found Javier, my car and I will be visiting them every time the car needs service. I’m tired of the whole dealership hassle. Javier has just gotten a new loyal customer.

I’ve been a long time customer of another shop for a while. I keep up with all the dealer suggested scheduled maintenance, but after just having a service and my car breaking down, I had to take it somewhere local. I read the reviews on Unilocal and found performance auto. Come to find out a lot of what I thought was inspected hadn’t been. Javier did a thorough inspection and explained everything. It only took a day to fix and they were honest enough to drop the price I was originally quoted when it took less time than they had anticipated. They even washed my car… I like your style Javier :) My husband and I are very pleased and this is now our new shop. Thank you.

Performance Automotive is great! Javier is so patient and helpful. He even educated me a bit on some of the car parts while we waited for my car to be brought around at the end.
I had my oil changed and had them check out my leaking tire and they also did a free inspection provided with an estimate.
The tire they found a hole in had been fixed a few months before but it kept leaking even after it was patched. I asked Performance Automotive to check the tire as well and at first they couldn’t find anything but they offered to have the tire taken to a tank of some sort to be able to check it more precisely. Low and behold, they found a tiny little hole and patched it up for me. Made my day! Before having that fixed I had to keep filling the tire up every week.

Smog check! Happened upon this place because the other guy down the road was a no-​show.
The owner knocked of a few bucks, cause he saw I wasn’t sure about him. Hooked me, not one to turn down a deal. Took me in right away, did his business and got me out reasonably fast.
Talked to another customer waiting, said these guys are solid. Good enough for me, I’ll be back.
Thumbs up, cause a HONEST mechanic are hard to find.

These people are really good at what they do! They have certificates for everything that has to do with vehicles and on top of that they are really friendly and very helpful I’m definitely coming back!

I don’t usually write reviews but I just had to give this place 5 stars. Unlike other shops, the mechanics here don’t treat you like crap! I like this place because every time I bring in my car, somebody helps me out right away and without an attitude.

I brought an old 1979 Camaro here to be fixed up into running condition, and they did a surprisingly great job. I come back frequently to make improvements and they always get it done right. This place was recommended to me by a neighbor who owns a dozen classic muscle cars so I trusted his opinion. Whether you need a tune up for your daily driver, or some care for your antique, this is a place that will take you seriously.
