What’s going on at this Home Style Donut store? I walked in there a little before 1 in the afternoon July 13, 2015. I tapped on the counter, called out for someone to help me, then knocked loudly on the counter. I called out even louder. I even tried calling them but no one answered my call. Some one was about to walk in when I explained to them that it appeared that no one was working there. He called the La Mirada Police Department. When the police showed up he discovered an employee (female) asleep on the floor in the back room. No, I’m not going to be going back to this place.

I like their breakfast items. I usually get a sausage egg and cheese bagel with a Mango smoothie. Very delicious.

Overall nothing special, but not bad. Tried a Cronut today. Glazed one was good but I still prefer a regular donut. The maple one was very oily, dry and maybe overcooked. Vanilla frappé was okay too. I didn’t try anything else but I wouldn’t go back for a Cronut.

I don’t understand the all the good reviews… Because of all the good reviews I sent out for a dozen Donuts to share with Family & we were all very disappointed, the donuts seemed old and starchy & the glaze which is my absolute favorite had hardly any glaze on it… I had to check twice to make sure it was in fact a glaze donut I was having & every one else that tried that dozen agreed with me:/
It was a Saturday morning. I assume the donuts are fresh in the am but they were not…

Two friendly ladies just sold me some fantastic donuts. Their raspberry jelly and old-​fashioneds were perfect. I picked mine up at the end of the night, i.e. they shouldn’t be as fresh, and they are still fantastic now over a day later. Plus, they have delicious and reasonably priced cronuts too.

I found cronuts! I actually hadn’t heard much about them before entering the store. The cute lady behind the counter was really excited about them and insisted I try it. She said they had made them previously but they weren’t that good but she said they got it down now. So I took her up on it and got a maple glazed cronut and they were gooood! I’m definitely a fan! I also bought an apple fritter and they’re more on the crunchy side but nonetheless good! I’ll be back for more cronuts!

best stuff ever, this can not compared to the grocery, albertsons, vons or ralphs donuts.
these donuts are amazing, its fresh and just yummy in my tummy. the people here have great customer service and with a smile.
