This is definitely my go-to place! Blueberry donuts are the best and their cream filled donut holes are to die for! Also, the ladies working at the counter are always so nice and friendly. I just recently tried their panini(roast beef panini to be specific) and it was so good! There was just enough meat, cheese and spinach. Will definitely go back to try their other sandwiches on the menu.

Went there around 8PM. Probably not the best time of day to buy donuts, even though they are open all night. We bought ½ dozen different donuts and all tasted like they were about to go stale. The next morning they were not fresh at all. Very disappointed consdidering all the other good reviews. Contrast that to buying donuts at Donuttery at 8PM, and there is no comparison. Donuttery makes donuts all day long as they are a lot busier, and they taste fresh. Just a long ways to go to get there compared to Moodoo. Gotta try Moodoo in the morning to see if there’s a big difference.

I come here to buy coffee or donuts sometimes. Where is the Korean lady? Where is young nice girl who work here? Wtf. I when to buy some donuts and soda for my friends and old lady! She is so rude! She need to wash her hand before she touch my donuts however, I’m paying my food. She is so lazy to hand it to me. she is almost throwing at me. She need to work on her costumer’s service. Even does I leave right next to this store, I’m not coming back.

Came here wanting some breakfast. Ordered the ham and cheese baguette and the cashier said that I had ordered with bacon, which I did not and then served it on a croissant, not a baguette. Not coming back.

We were looking for a donut shop that’s open late. We found this donut shop on Unilocal and wanted to try it. We arrived at 1130pm and there’s only a tray of donuts available. For being a 24 hour donut shop, it was disappointing to see on a Friday night that only a few donuts were on display. We asked if they are making some but they said that donuts will be available at 4am. If that’s the case, they shouldn’t advertise as a 24⁄7 donut shop or know how to keep up with the demands of the customers. I don’t recommend going here late at night.

Must try their blueberry doughnuts! To… die…for! Coffee, doughnuts, and breakfast sandwiches are always freshly made! Very affordable too! Once ordered half a dozen doughnuts, medium hot coffee, and an egg and bacon English muffin all for around $ 10(give or take a $ 1). Only downside… a bit out of my way from both home and work… but maybe that’s a good thing! Otherwise I’d be filling up on their blueberry doughnuts every day ;)

Arrived at Modoo Donuts in the afternoon. By this time, it was slim pickings. Bought several treats for the family to share. Here are my thoughts on them. Both the Apple fritter and the Blueberry fritter were good, Would order both of these items again.(4 stars) Donut holes were ok. My niece liked them more than I did.(3 stars) Strawberry glazed or maybe it was a Cherry glazed donut was not good(1 star). May stop in again if I was driving by. Hopefully, there will be fresher and better choices at that time.

One day at work I was craving a tasty donut and stumbled upon Modoo Donuts. What I love about this place is how early and late they are open. Their donuts are so delish that once I started introducing it to my fellow co-workers they started having donuts from Moodoo for our weekly meetings. My favorite is of course their chocolate bar but if you love blueberry donuts you must try theirs. I feel like no matter what you chose from there you won’t leave disappointed. But remember to bring cash.

I came here after I binge watched Dexter on Netflix for a few days and got a serious craving for donuts. Although I would’ve much rather had Michael C. Hall showing up at my doorstep with a box of fresh donuts, I knew that would just stay a fantasy. So, I opted to come here. I’ve lived in the area for 2 years but never stopped by because, honestly, I’m lazy. But I’m currently expecting and have the biggest sweet tooth on earth! I got half a dozen and had half a donut over the course of a week and also begrudgingly shared them with my family. Seriously, these donuts were just as good on day 5 as they were on day 1. The owners are very sweet and they have all their donuts displayed nicely so that you can easily pick them out. Will be back again! :)

Right off of Beach in between Stage and La Mirada blvd(Malvern) is this little gem. It is so bomb here! I have had the pleasure of ravenously ingesting the deliciously and wonderfully made glazed blueberry donut, which is now my favorite btw. It is the PERFECT blend of a crunchy bottom with a soft, cakey middle topped with a decadent glaze to seal it all in together. I’ve also devoured various cake donuts, as those are obviously the best kinds of donut, like the plain glazed, white glazed, and maple glazed. I love how soft they are! The stuffed éclair is also always soft and flavorful(boyfriends choice). They have the«French Donuts» there which are super hard to find! I have not had the fortune to try their cronuts bc I like to sleep in until 11am. Next time I go, however, I will try them!!! Keep in mind that if you have the day off due to an upcoming holiday, the donut variety will be dramatically reduced faster than you can say«‘Merica». The first time I went though, I did see blueberry filled donuts! Also, regular cream, and some sort of berry one as well. I have to also add those to my list. I love that this place is so affordable to support my sugar addiction, too. A dozen donuts came out to $ 7! Cheap and delicious, yes!

This place has the best donuts in the world. I love the display & selections. Not like your typical counter front. I use to live close by and when it was a previous owner, it wasn’t so great. The new owner definitely did an outstanding job. With the price of real estate, I’m surprised how inexpensive they price them. I guess they get enough volume to be able to price them so well. Especially comparing to the prices on the bakeries around that area. I will definitely come back. The young lady at the counter also provides exceptional customer service. I went here at 2:30 a.m. Saturday night. Fresh racks of warm donuts were brought out at around 2:45 a.m. I had an Apple-filled Crumb Bear Claw and a Chocolate Chip filled Chocolate Pocket with black coffee. Good customer service, clean establishment.

After being sad that I missed yesterday’s national donut day, I decided to stop by this place after reading the reviews. I got the Oreo croinut, French crueller, glazed donuts, and a small coffee. The French cruller, which is probably my favorite type of donut, was excellent! Perfectly fluffy and so soft and doughy inside. I loved it. The glazed donuts, which aren’t really my favorite in general, were better than other ones I’ve tasted. The Oreo croinut(I don’t know why they spell it this way instead of «cronut») was pretty good but personally wasn’t a huge fan of. I liked the way the bread part of it was fried, it was crunchy outside and fluffy inside. But for my personal taste, it was too much cream filling inside and on top and overbearing. The cream filling thankfully wasn’t too sweet and had a good consistency to it but I still wiped off most of the cream to the side. But that’s just me, I don’t like cream too much in general. I know other ppl love cream so for those who love cream, this is the perfect treat. I would definitely be back when I’m in the area and craving donuts.

I’m going to admit it, the name made me never want to try it for some reason. But yet it also had me curiously interested… After passing it on my way to work for 5 – 6 years, I finally stopped one morning and was so very pleasantly surprised! LOADS of selection and on display to easily see. Every donut I’ve ever had from Modoo has been fresh and delicious! My favorite donut has got to be the white cake, white frosting and rainbow sprinkles. I think that’s been my favorite since I was a kid… and Modoo does it right, it’s about 90% covered in frosting, even the little donut hole is filled up with sticky sweet goodness! I don’t often eat donuts, but I know I can count on Modoo if I ever have the hankering. I celebrated the last 2 years of NATIONALDONUTDAY(June 5th) at this very spot. There’s a nice selection of juices and drinks, cronuts, donut holes and other sweet delights… service is always friendly and genuine. A clean, comfortable, family owned donut joint. Easy parking and easy getting in and out of the lot. CHEERS! PS: I still am not sure why it’s called«Modoo» and I’m gonna keep it that way.

Unilocal Challenge 201568⁄365 So the hubsters and I were in charge of his sisters kids and at 11:00pm on a Friday night I knew exactly where to take them… DONUTS!!! What kid doesn’t like a sugary treat way past their bedtime? Located on Beach Blvd, kind of where La Mirada and Buena Park meet, sits Modoo donut, a former Dunkin Donut. Its been here for years and years and years. Sadly, I dont go to many donut shops cuz someone in our house is healthy, and wants me to be healthy too. I tried filling the kids up with soda, but… they rather have V8 or a naked Juice. Those are expensive here. $ 3.99 each. But, they loooove naked juice and were so excited to drink their Mango treat. The hubsters and I had Chocolate Milk, cuz we were setting a good example. The store had a huge display case full of juices, sodas, milks, water, ect to quench anyones thirst. Our donuts were just okay, nothing special. They are displayed in little baskets with numbers. Nothing really caught my eye. Then again it was super late at night. Im sure they taste better fresh. And now a days donuts are out of control so there is a lot of competition in donut land. I had a maple bar, which was really dry. The hubsters had a bear claw type thing filled with cream. He said it tasted like any other donut. The little ones had sprinkled donuts and a bag of donut holes, which they only had a few bites of, and decided to save for later. They did say they were good. Service was friendly with a smile. ATM is available for the green stuff. There is wifi, because someone was there taking advantage of it. To me, they are just okay. But a great place for the little ones. Review #571

Edit(yes, I know there is an «edit» function, I just choose to do it old-school sometimes): Actually the SECOND best blueberry donut ever. Best blueberry donut ever? Best blueberry donut ever. The others are just average. But, seriously, best blueberry donut ever.
