All About Puppies

On December 30^th I bought a red poodle puppy from this store. We brought him home name him Lincoln and fell in love with him he is adorable. At the time of purchase we were told that he was registered with CKC and that within a couple of weeks we would get a phone call and could come in a pick up the papers. No one has called the papers have never came. I have called, gone to the store talked to different people working there and get a different story every time I talk to someone. The papers are not available, now we are being told that it takes 6 months to get the papers. I have had to file a dispute against the store with my American Express card. Thank God, I used a credit card hopefully they can help me. I would never recommend anyone buy a registered puppy from this store. You will NOT get the papers. Hopefully American Express I can help me out too.

All about puppies quality of service has decreased significantly within the past few months. When my dog first went to this place, my dog had the best haircuts and what I had thought was exceptional care.
Recently, my dog has been licking her paws so raw that it has turned red. I was curious as to why this was happening and i see that her very back nail is not CUT and looks like a hook. All of the others nail on that paw have been trimmed except the very back one. This must have been extremely painful for my dog when she goes running or walking.
I don’t recall purchasing a service that includes nail trimming but only for a select few nails. Also, my dogs hair cut was not symmetrical at all. In fact, there’s clearly a part of her face that is much shorter than the other.
I am giving this place 3 stars because this might only be a problem depending on which groomer you have and how thorough he/​she decides to be that day.
When you do come to this place, please check all of your dogs nails to see if they are all trimmed evenly.

In this day and age, it is rare to find a retail store that services its customers with efficiency, cheerfulness and professionalism and this all begins when you make a telephone appointment with Sherry.
We have a rescue dog who is afraid of being crated. When we bring in our dog to be groomed or have her teeth cleaned, Catrina, who is the best, and her staff, have found a way for our dog to wait her turn without being placed in a crate feeling secure, safe and not frightened.
We have never been disappointed.

Simba and Nala are my poms and they are usually nervous to get groomed. But not here, the stylist is über friendly and both haircuts came out ideal! Highly recommend

Mitzi had her 2^nd grooming today with Linda this time. She is so Happy & she looks adorable too just like a stuffed animal. All sparkling clean & smelling great & ready for the 4thof July!
Mitzi is 12 & has a few health issues but they take good care of her & she doesn’t look traumatized when I pick her up & thats what I LUV !!!

I finally found a place where I can drop off my little babies without having to worry about them. The staff is very friendly and efficient! I had to wait a few days for an appt. which is okay with me. I have 2 Yorkies, they always do such a great job with them. I’m very happy with the service there. It’s a little on the pricey side, but I think they are worth it. I will definitely be back!

I have lived in La Mirada for about 6 months now and after being use to certain locations in my old neighborhood it felt nice finding at least a new grooming place for my babies!
I give this place a 5 star rating because when I was calling other places to take my babies in on short notice they rejected me but not this place, this place said sure come on in we can take them which made me feel great!
Now my babies are normally great dogs to handle but I was a little afraid because it wasn’t their normal place how they would react, but according to the groomer and the young lady in the front they did an amazing job letting people handle them and get them clean up!
I thanked them so much for squeezing me and my babies in and they left my dogs looking amazing! My boy dog got the shedding process done and he looked so amazing with less hair and they came out looking so clean and cute with their little bow and bandana they give your pets!
When it’s time to take them again I will for sure call this place and make an appointment and come back! Thank you for treating my pets with such love and care! Keep up the great work and you will never see a frown on my face thank you!

We bought our cutest puppy here. He is a black toy poodle and now is over 6 month. Very healthy, great great temperament, beautiful face, long legs (which is getting him out of the toy category, but we don’t care, he is beautiful). Initially we took him out to vet, to pet supply stores, he got hugged by everyone, rated by vaccine clinic staff «cutest dog of the day». We got him with ckc, but there was a delay in getting the paper, and lost in mailing somehow, but the store owner eventually solved the problem.
Overall, I would recommend this store to friends who love dogs.

So I love this place and love Cameron! She has been grooming my husky once a month every month for the past year! He always looks fantastic, and smells amazing when I pick him up! And he loves getting a new bandana every month, he actually keeps it on the entire month, till I take him down again! Thanks again Cameron, from me and blaze!

It went from great to bad in an instant. The place is nice and clean. I’ve been here a few times before just to browse but this was my first time taking my baby boy to get groomed. Please understand that my puppy is 4 month old yorkie and this is only his 2^nd time getting groomed. The 1^st was when he was 2 month and I had just got him (that groomer loved him and said he was a but scared but a joy). Since I have given him baths at home, brush him, and blow dry him (he loves the hair dryer!). He will cry a little in the bath but loves to swim, he can try to bite the brush but a treat and a cuddle is enough to calm him, and last but not least the hair dryer is his favorite (he lets his fur blow in the wind).
Checking in was great, Jasmine seemed so nice and my little guy was just a bit scared and growled (as any puppy would) but she picked him up and he was fine. Checking out wasn’t a problem, Janice was very nice and being a 1^st time customer she quickly inputted my info into their system.
The problem was that Jasmine came off rude when she told me that «she» bites a lot and that she didn’t wanna say «get it in check cause it’s rude but yea you need to be strict about that». I just told her HE is teething a lot even the vet (who he has never bite) said but I will, smiled, and left. I have small children at home and the only time He bites is when they grab him hard or pull at his legs. Even when meeting new people he will bark and growl while hiding behind my legs or in my arms. If I do go back I think it’d be best to try a different groomer.

The ladies at All About Puppies were so kind and understanding on our recent visit. Their puppies seem well taken care of and I would feel incredibly comfortable doing business with them again.

I found the cutest most darling teacup pomeranian here! My darling Lucciano! The staff were so helpful and really seemed to have take a liking to my puppy, they were happy and sad to see him go. I’m so very grateful for them to have sold me my baby

My Babies always looks So pretty when she’s done with them.
When I first rescued my first poodle 2 years ago I would take her to petco and they would charge at least $ 55 and would have her there for 4 – 6 hours (cooped up in a cage most likely!) I go to All About Puppies and am charged $ 36 – 39 per dog and poodles require a more extensive grooming then short haired dogs. I can take both my pups there and they are done within 2 hours !!!

So, like I’m sure many other dog owners do, I read up on reviews after reviews to find the best groomer for our 3 month old Shih-​Tzu. After seeing all of the great reviews I decided to give all about puppies a shot.
I was so nervous leaving her, I cried the whole way home!
As soon as I got there I was greeted by the cutest little puppies & front desk. They were so sweet! I instantly felt comfortable. They even welcomed Annie with so much love and care! I was very happy.
They gave such great advice about my Annie and her first grooming. I really appreciated their honesty and work. Thank you so much for taking care of my little love and understanding my concerns! I was so happy with her cut! She looks beautiful! And smells awesome haha
Bring your fur baby here! They will definitely take care of them!

Finally, a grooming salon near my house that I actually like! (and is affordable too!)
I’ve been on the hunt for a good groomer for my furry Lhasa Apso, Casey, ever since I got her 3 years ago. I used to drive to the Encino (almost a 2 hour drive) every month and a half to get Casey groomed. Now, I drive less than five minutes to get her to All About Puppies. I’ve been pleased every time I’ve taken her here, which has been 3 times now. Ashley does a great job with Casey and knows how to cut her hair like I want it. Also, Casey has never smelled better after the groomers. I don’t know what they use, whether its the shampoo or an after spray of some sort, but whatever it is, it makes Casey smell AMAZING for a week until her next bath. It costs $ 39 for a bath and cut– very affordable. I think the price may vary depending of size and type of dog you have. The store itself is big and doesn’t have that wet dog smell lots of grooming salons do. Also, they have a bunch of puppies out on display for purchase and they’re all so cute!
Tip: Call at least 3 days in advance for an appointment. They get booked!
