Dr. Scott Recksiedler specializes in prosthodontics, one of the nine recognized specialties within the American Dental Association [ADA]. Prosthodontists have at least three years of advanced training following their dental school education. Prosthodontists are trained to replace missing teeth, gum tissues and bone in the mouth. Dr. Recksiedler is proud to offer the latest techniques in dental implant restoration, complete and partial dentures, dental crown and bridge fabrication and maxillofacial prosthetics.

Dr. Scott Recksiedler and Dr. Harold Gulbransen at San Diego Prosthodontics are trained Prosthodontists who combined have been practicing in the San Diego area for 30 years.
Our new office is 5 minutes from the old one. San Diego Prosthodontics has moved to a new office that helps us meet your needs better. Dr. Gulbransen, Dr. Recksiedler and their staff are very excited about their new office, complete with the latest in digital technology. Business Owner
Dr. Scott Recksiedler is a native San Diegan. He grew up in El Cajon and attended Granite Hills High School. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of California, Davis.
Dr. Recksiedler received his dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. Dr. Recksiedler completed a three year accredited prosthodontic residency at the West Los Angeles Veteran’s Affairs Hospital. Following his prosthodontic residency, Dr. Recksiedler completed a one year fellowship in Maxillofacial Prosthetics at the University of California, Los Angeles.
Dr. Recksiedler is an active member of several professional organizations including the ACP, AAMP, AO, ADA, and stays up to date on the latest techniques and digital technologies. When he isn’t working he enjoys golfing, surfing, traveling and spending time with family.
Dr. Recksiedler is a dedicated practitioner who provides individualized care for each patient he treats at San Diego Prosthodontics.
