Mordecai S Lightman, DDS

I have been coming to campus dental to see Dr. Lightman for at least 10 years. He is the most compassionate, understanding and friendly dr I have ever been to. On my last visit, I had quite a few cavities to be filled and he had the most gentle touch. I am deathly afraid of needles, but I barely felt anything (i was squeezing the assistants hand the whole time!). He makes me feel at ease at my least favorite place to go! We like to watch the food network while he works on my teeth!
Everyone here is super friendly, and know me by name. Elaine is really nice also, and the younger blonde girl who’s name escapes me right now. I would definitely recommend campus dental to anyone searching for a new dentist! Most well deserved 5 star review I have ever written.

Amazing, caring dentist with a wonderful staff. He goes the extra mile and is compassionate, caring, and very skilled. I highly recommend him for any dental needs, and he is also great with kids.

As Dr Lightman’s Dental Assistant, I love working with him. Not only is he wonderful with me, he is great with the patients too. I have never seen a more gentile and loving Dentist. He’s a happy family man who loves his job. His work is great, the patients are happy and he is generous with his time too.
If you are looking for a new Dentist, give him a try. I think you’ll love him.

When I moved to the college area in ’92 I looked for a new dentist… hating to go to the dentist (like most people) I bounced around several different offices, i found myself hating each one more than the last. Why couldn’t i find one that understood the signs of discomfort in their patients? After an extensive search I found myself at Campus Dental and in the chair of Dr Lightman. I was pleasantly surprised at the steps they took to make me comfortable in the process, things like explaining the steps they would be taking, talking about options available and an extra dose of novocain when I started to feel the procedure. I have been a client for nearly 12 years and have no complaints. Today on my visit Dr Lightman repaired the edge of a filling that was damaged, the filling was at least a year old but my visit today didn’t cost me anything. It is rare to find someone that is invested in their work and the satisfaction for their clients. Being that dental care in an out of pocket expense for me I appreciate their reasonable pricing as well as payment options.
