This place should have been called Discount Hide-​A-​Beds, because it looks like they’ve folded!

Discount Mattresses and Furniture was closed down due to stealing another company’s name. According to the rumor mill. This place has the same owner and is now called «ART OF FURNISHING» or «ART OF FURNITURE» … just an FYI.

I wish I had looked at these reviews before I made my purchase of over $ 1000 worth of furniture. I would NOT have purchased these items, especially since I was not told how many freakin pieces the table and chairs would be in to put together. But, that is not my beaf. I was told by Michael that stuff would be delivered July 10^th, my move in date. No furniture and no phone call. Nothing Thursday and nothing Friday. Finally, I called the store and was told that the owner had made a mistake and it would not be delivered until the following Tuesday. Not happy. Tuesday came-​no furniture and NO PHONE CALL. I had to go into the store. Michael was apologetic, and said to make up for it, he would have the bed frames put together (actually it was my idea, but he agreed and said it would happen). Boxes were delivered and delivery guys said they had no authorization to do that– NO ONE had contacted them to tell them. Now I’lm reallly pissed. I had to call him YET AGAIN and he said he would come out himself and put it together– gosh, what a way to make up for it IF HE ACTUALLY SHOWED UP. You know, he didn’t calll me Friday, nor Saturday, nor Sunday. I had to yet again go into the store. He knew I was royally peeved. I told him I wanted to speak to the owner personally (who doesn’t have a great rep according to Unilocal either). He did offer to pay me out of his own pocket the $ 40 delivery charge that I insisted be refunded. This time he actually did what he said he would do. Finally!
I’m very curious whether the owner will call me and how professional he will be… I will keep Unilocal updated…

Save your gas the advertisement lures you in… but as soon as you see the actual product you will walk out

worst place ever mattress are way to expensive they werent willing to work in our price range trying to get us to but a $ 1000 mattress just the mattress no box spring kept trying to leave and the guy kept talking and not letting me and my husnand leave he was herrassing us never again will i go there and i will never ever refer anyone to them. if i could give them 0 stars i would

I was looking for a great deal on a mattress and happened to find this place. So happy that I did. Michael definitely helped me find the perfect mattress for my needs. I told him my budget and helped accommodate it. He was also asking the right questions about how I slept etc. I’m so in love with my bed:) definitely going back here to buy my new couch. Oh and did I mention that I bought the bed at like 530 on a Friday and it was delivered two hours later? Well yea that happened

Wow, I’m really surprised about the Unilocal review about this place because I have nothing but good things to say about this place. Me and my husband came in looking for a mattress and some new furniture for one of our guest rooms. MICHAEL was the one who helped us out with everything and he was GREAT. He listened to our needs and gave us a few different options of some furniture pieces, He was extremely helpful and never pushy with anything.
We eneded up getting a mattress, dresser, and 2 nite stands. Michael gave us a really good price too!
Overall I was extremely happy with my purchase, Michael even called the day of delivery to make sure that everything went smoothly and that we were happy with our purchase!
I would definitely recommend shopping here and MAKE SURE TO ASK FOR MICHAEL he will take good care of you!
