I have been signed up with The Creative Group for several years now. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of working with some excellent, professional and resourceful agents — Elaine Buhler, Laura Volpe and Josh Henry, to name a few. All of them seem genuinely concerned about getting me placed, and each has taken the time to get to know me and my capabilities.
In the last year, Josh has kept me steadily employed at a great assignment that was a perfect match for me. That assignment has ended, but I’m confident that TCG will get me placed again as soon as possible.
Josh Henry has really taken the time and effort to get to know me. He has also given me advice about how to market myself. When he has an assignment lead for me, he always gives me as much information as possible up front. This allows me to prepare for the interview and edit my resume and portfolio accordingly.
I recommend them highly, if you’re looking for an agency to help you find projects and assignments, and help you improve your career.

I can only describe my experience with this office as very disappointing, especially with Josh Henry, their Division Director of Recruiting. After being passed on to him when another recruiter left the company (and never actually speaking with him) I was mistakenly forwarded correspondence where he had commented to another office that I was mentally ill. Mind you, I had already completed over 2,500 hours with a client that is very happy with my work and with whom I still have a very good working relationship.
I can only describe this office as very unprofessional, very inappropriate. How could they have this BOZO as their Director of Recruiting? It really makes me rethink the upper management of the company. If he’s the director of recruiting and committing these types of egregious, illegal workplace infractions, I can only imagine the activities that are permitted for those who work below him. Be forewarned. Avoid this company, especially Josh Henry, at all cost. You’re better off going with Aquent who has always shown me the utmost professionalism when placing me in a variety of positions.

I was approached by Tanya and brought in for an interview. I was apologized to profusely by several people for the mis communication and interviewed. They forwarded me to a sister company that might actually have a position for me. It was nice that they cared enough to realize there was a problem and hand;e it with grace and dignity. Thanks guys.

Of all the recruiters with whom I’ve worked, both in the Bay area and in San Diego, Cassie is — by far — the best. She’s thorough, goes the extra mile, and produces results. So professional. As a candidate dealing with the stresses of job searches and interviews, it’s comforting to know that you’re being represented by the best there is!

I was introduced to Josh at The Creative Group through a colleague at my old job. Josh had an opportunity in online marketing that was perfect for me at an amazing company in San Diego — it’s been my dream job. Within the month Josh called me to let me know I secured a phone interview and even gave me some insight on what qualifications helped the hiring manager chose me over other candidates. After the phone interview, things moved fast and furious and Josh and Tanya were great every step of the way. I have been working with them for 6 months now and I highly recommend working with them. The Creative Group also offers health benefits, a 401K plan and weekly pay periods, which is all a plus!

I was lucky enough to connect with Cassie at The Creative Group by chance, but highly recommend others to personally seek her out. From the second you meet her, you know she has your back and is determined to help you find your best fit. She’s dedicated, passionate and very personable. A very cool girl. She even took time out on a weekend to chat with me about an opportunity (even cut short her call with her friend planning a wedding in Mexico!). She is a rare find. HIGHLY recommend!

I am very happy to work with the Creative Group, I was in need of finding employment, Josh and Tanya was able to find me a great contract at a really nice company. They actually cared about me getting the position, and answered all of my questions. I am pleased with the communication, the overall experience and will continue to work with them!
