I had been searching for a good permanent makeup artist for a couple years now. I had my eyebrows tattooed almost 13 years ago and they are almost nonexistent. As one of many woman that spend $$$$$ on their face to maintain our beauty/​youth. I am very cautious as to who I trust when it comes to my face with that being said… I am so happy I chose Jennifer. I sent her a text late Friday night and she responded right the next day even though it was the weekend. She was booked until mid July but after explaining that I would be having hand surgery in a few weeks she found a way to fit me in the same week! I am so grateful since I wouldn’t be able to «draw» my brows until I completely heal. Jennifer has such great bedside manner, she kept asking and making sure I was comfortable the whole time. She’s a perfectionist as am I. She made me feel like I had known her for years. I couldn’t be happier with her. Thank you Jennifer once again, it has been an honor to have met such a wonderful, caring, and funny woman in you. A true artist. See you soon!

I’ve had my eyeliners and eyebrows done by others in the past, and I’m now having them done by Jennifer. She is a true artist in that she is very careful her «art work» is excellent. She has also been very caring and conscious of my comfort throughout the procedures. I now only need one final eyebrows’ touch up that will be done in June. I’m very happy I found Jennifer. Her prices are also fantastic.

Jennifer is fantastic. Not only are her prices great but her talent is amazing. She is truly an artist and has her artwork displayed in the room. Seeing how great she is at art made me feel confident that she would do good work and she did.
FYI when scheduling give yourself some extra time. Jennifer is a perfectionist and that means that sometimes she might spend some extra time with a client. Which is what we all want as a client is someone who really cares about the work they do. So if you want to look perfect for a great price Jennifer is the woman to go too.

If you are looking for the real deal, look no further. My experience with Jennifer; a dozen transformational procedures and nearly three years later has been nothing short of perfection. First and foremost, Jennifer is a successful artist and it is evident in her hyper focus to detail and custom precision. I also have come to respect the fact that when Jennifer is not performing sessions, she spends countless hours of painstaking research on any new and applicable techniques that she can use to customize her treatments. Her passion and tremendous talent combined with her very unique ability to connect so brilliantly and elegantly with her clients is unmatched. Hands down, she’s my girl! I make it a point to book months ahead including my follow ups because I know that there is only one Jenifer and she is very busy with her clients but is the only one I have come to trust with my face. Book sooner than later, one of the best investments you can make for yourself.

I had almost no eyebrows from over plucking so I really needed to get them done. I didn’t just want the magic marker look that so many women have these days. and I’d heard of the hair stroke method, so I researched many permanent makeup artists in the San Diego area. When I came upon Jennifer’s place, The Artist’s Touch I noticed the art work. Wow! If she can paint like that, then I’d be really interested to talk to her. Yes, I had a consultation with her just to see if I liked her and felt good about going to her.
I went for my consultation with my husband and I was immediately put at ease by her assistant. She showed me photos of Jen’s work and showed me around the spa. I was quite pleased… Once I had the time to meet and talk to Jen and ask questions I felt ngreat about my decision to have my eyebrows and eyeliner done by her.
When I arrived a month later for my session, (I had to wait until after I went on vacation because I wouldn’t want to have to stay out of the sun as my eyebrows healed), there was nice soft music playing in the backround. Jen took meticulous care in measuring my eyes, taking many photos, drawing my eyebrows in to see how I wanted them to look…
It was a great experience. There was a little discomfort in the beginning just before the numbing lotion took effect, then it was fine.
I had no trouble ever getting a response from Jen or her assistant.
I would recommend Jen’s work to anyone.

Jen is a true artist in every sense of the word. She studies the face, features, age, tone, and pigment, and from there she designs the enhancements sought by the client.
Many make-​up artists have learned the procedures and techniques to apply permanent make-​up, but it takes the gifts and skills of a true artisan to raise procedure to an art form — and this Jen does with great finesse.
Jen is a detailed listener, with a very gentle touch, who does meticulous work, making sure the end result meets her standards of perfection.
I’ve been seeing Jen going on 2 years and have enjoyed several procedures. I wouldn’t see anyone else if they were free. :)
For those disheartened by the difficulty in reaching her, I can say from experience that she is booked solid and very popular (and currently without an assistant). Be patient, don’t give up, she’s definitely the hard work it (sometimes) takes to book with her.

I had my eyeliner done 2 weeks ago
It looked good when I left however after a week most of the inner part of the liner is gone
I was told by Jen one free touch up and to text or call her I texted her twice and called her and left a message she still had not responded.
I would not recommend her she is all over the place very unorganized on the day of my appt.

I have emailed The Artist’s Touch 3 times and have not received a response. I wanted to ask about a procedure before I commit to buying the Groupon. After reading the reviews on Unilocal I realize this is a problem for this business. As a possible new customer I would think my business would be welcomed.
I will look else where for my needs.

Jenifer is very good. She did amazing things for a friend whose eyebrows now look really good.

Update: The fact that Jenifer claims I walked out a happy customer after my appointment confirms just how out of it she must have been that day OR it just confirms she is a liar and shady business person… I couldn’t have made it more clear to her DURING the procedure how upset and panicked I was seeing the awful work she had done. Her former assistant also knew how upset I was upon leaving and booking another corrective appointment. On a side note, no one should have to wait 2 months to be reimbursed for shoddy work. I should never have HAD to send more than a text or two. Jenifer has definitely mastered the art of avoidance… and now denial, too. Highly unprofessional!

Can’t rate her work as she never bothered to contact my mother for an appointment. We purchased my mother a Groupon for Christmas to get her brows done. My mom was very excited as it has been years since she had them done. She called and left a few messages but said the machine stated that Jennifer prefers to communicate by texts. So my mom who just recently learned how to text sent her a few texts… And nothing. My guess is that my mom shouldn’t have let her know she was using a Groupon in her messages because I don’t think that Jennifer particularly likes to honor them and would prefer that the Groupon expire forcing the patron to pay full price. There are way too many choices around to mess with someone who doesn’t really want your business so we contacted Groupon. Groupon stated that they would reach her and to expect to her from her shortly. That didn’t happen as she ignored them as well. Groupon being the awesome company they are refunded our money which we will happily take to someone else. The Groupon was purchased in December and expires in March. If you don’t use it as everyone knows the Groupon is good for face value only in this case, less than half the cost of eyebrow tattoos, (her price is actually outrageous without the Groupon.) I get my done for 130.00 every few years and they look fantastic.

Jen is wonderful!!! She’s so funny and down to earth. And she has the most beautiful South African accent! She makes you feel at ease and makes sure you are satisfied with what you’re paying for. There is one review in particular that gave her one star and said her eyebrows were ruined… I’m sorry, but looking at your before picture, your after picture was without a doubt a HUGE improvement Lady Gaga. Thank you so very much Jen! Now I won’t have to spend any time trying to get my eyebrows even in the morning

Just had my brows touched up with Jen. She is very good at what she does. Give her a try you will be very happy with the results.

I went to Jennifer and was pleasantly surprised, she is a true artist. I have had this procedure done by two different people before and did not love it. Jennifer did my eyeliner this time and it looks amazing! She was gentle, clean, professional, gorgeous inside and out. I had the best experience and would recommend her to everyone that wanted permanent make up done.

I have never had the patience to apply makeup, so I never wear anything but a little lipstick. But one day a friend, who also is an «au naturel» person came by wearing eyeliner, and she looked great. I wanted to wear it too. However, I am a makeup klutz, and when I tried to draw it on, it just wouldn’t come out right. I had heard of permanent eye makeup years ago, but never tried it. It seemed to me that when it comes to anything to do with the eyes, I want only a highly professional trained person to do the work. I never knew of such a person.
But in the past year or so friends in La Jolla told me about Jenifer Broomberg. They told me two important pieces of information. First, she is an excellent, accomplished artist. This information was relayed by an artist friend, who is highly critical of other artists. Secondly, her husband is a physician. Both of these facts were important to me, as they suggested that she would do esthetically pleasing work, and that she had a background, through her husband, in the essentials of medical hygiene, so necessary when applying facial tattoos. The last thing in the world I needed was an infection.
I took the plunge and contacted Jenifer. She came through in every possible way. I would give her ten stars if that were possible.
She applied permanent liner to the top and bottom lids of my eyes. People ask if it hurt. It did. Although she applied anesthetic that blunted the pain, it felt similar to an electric toothbrush or drill on the eye. I really didn’t like the feeling. But Jenifer was as good as the best mother. I squirmed and sighed and she comforted me all along the way, and made it easy to continue on. I am really a pain baby, but I would do it again in a heartbeat because the results are so terrific.
First, you really can’t notice that the liner is on unless it is pointed out. Then if you look directly you see it, and as an illusion the lashes look thicker and darker as well. This is the effect I wanted. The results are powerful. Almost every old friend I met greeted me by telling me how wonderful I looked, and that there was something different about me. I knew it must be the liner. The results were as rejuvenating as a facelift.
So now I am recommending Jenifer Broomberg to anyone who is interested. She is absolutely wonderful, kind, aesthetic and professional. What more could you ask?

The worst experience I ever had with any business. Jennifer Bloomberg never calls back or texts back. Finally after several days she says she’s so booked up and makes you an appointment for 2 months later. I waited and then called and text the day before to get a confirmation and address, no response. At 11:30 pm she text that her assistant never put the appointment in the books and somehow she never got my message. (O really, after 2 calls and 2 texts) she then texts can I come the next day? No, I respond but please call and let’s rebook. Never got an answer. What kind of business women is this? Why advertise and do a Groupon if you won’t even call clients back. I would never trust her to do my eyelids, and I was lucky to get my money back from Groupon. I would advise people not to do business with such an untrustworthy person.

Jen is a professional artist and her work reflects that artistic gift. She listens carefully to her client and isn’t satisfied until the client is completely satisfied. Her prices are excellent: you get the work of a perfectionist at a reasonable price. I have only the highest praise for Jen and her work!

Jen is the best! I have male pattern baldness and bad, sun damaged spots on my scalp. Prior to finding Jen, I paid a Dermatologist hundreds of dollars for painful laser work on the sun spots, with little results. Jen was able to cover the sun spots and give me the appearance of a full head of hair. She saved me thousands of dollars compared to the alternative of a hair transplant, which would have left a permanent scar. I did a lot of research on the procedure, and what sets Jen apart from her competition is that she is an Artist by nature and a perfectionist. I did the micro pigment for my hairline and it was scared at first but after I was really pleased with the results I look young again. I’m not insecure about my hairline anymore. If you’re thinking of doing it she’s the one to go to. Great customer service. Overall great experience.

Jen is great! Love having my eyeliner done permanently. It’s made my life easier and was one of the best things I have ever done for myself. Jen was good at reapplying the numbing agent, asks your opinion often and is great about doing touch-​ups or adding so that you get just the look you want.
I’d also like to add, that Jen is a very talented artist and I really enjoyed her sharing her information and encouraging me in that area too.

I have wanted to have by eyebrows done for years but was always concerned because I didn’t want people coming up to me and saying, «hey, I see you’ve had your eyebrows done!» …I’ve seen some pretty obvious ones.
I read Jenifer’s reviews and saw her before and after pictures and decided it was time.
All I can say is that I LOVE my eyebrows!
I’m 2 weeks in and I still can’t stop looking at them and raving about them… my family is to the point of rolling their eyes at me when I talk about them… I don’t care, I LOVE them!!!

Jenifer is an artist and also so great with the art of the face. She really helped me with my fading eyebrows and is so nice and professional! I am so happy there is an answer to help make aging brows look perfect and natural!

Jennifer is amazing inside and out. She is a truly artist and I felt really good doing that service for the first time in my eye lids. She is a perfectionist and she made sure both of them were very even. I feel like a superstar with beautiful eyelids black and sexy.
What helped me with that exciting of having a tattoo inside my eye was having a music very quiet right to my ear. She also loved the idea. She’s really good at what she does and I already referred her for at least two friends 30 minutes after I left her salon.

I found Jennifer on Unilocal and was impressed with her reviews. She made sure that I was comfortable and did a great job correcting my eyeliner which was done incorrectly by another permanent makeup artist.

5 stars for service and value. I had SMP (scalp micro pigmentation) done for a fraction of the cost of what I was quoted in LA. Jen will continue to work on you like a painting until you are completely satisfied with her work (I came in 3 separate occasions and a follow up next month).

I just LOVE Jenifer!!! She is so kind and extremely talented!!! I felt comfortable with her and wonderful attitude! I had my brows and upper eyeliner done and it looks absolutely fantastic!!! I wish that I would have done it sooner. She is a perfectionist in every way, and does not want you to leave the salon until you are completely happy! I have gone back a couple if times for touch ups and she is just a joy to see every time! Go to Jenifer and no one else! You will not regret it!!!

I was really nervous when I met Jenifer as I’d not done anything like this before… But she was incredibly sweet and patient with me.
I was worried about getting things right, but if anything she was more of a perfectionist than me! I really appreciated seeing her artwork in her cosy studio and could tell that she has true talent with paintings as well as with people.
I was really happy with the work she did and would whole-​heartedly recommend her.
There’s not that many people out there who work as hard to make you feel comfortable and happy — nothing was too much effort, from the warm fluffy blanket to offering me chocolate-​covered cherries (mmmm!)

I had a wonderful experience with Jenifer.
I had permanent makeup done on my eyebrows, and they look great. Basically pain free, which I wasn’t expecting.
I’m so happy I decided to get them done! I am a makeup artist and perfectionist, and I can honestly say I’m satisfied :)
