Gotta say, pretty darn good food here !! Staff very friendly and helpful. I had a Fresh-n-Ready Pita Club Sandwich with turkey, ham & cheese for $ 3.75 — — filled me up while waiting for my buddy with a fractured ankle. That and a 20oz Diet Coke came to $ 5.50 with tax. Very very reasonable prices throughout. Nice looking salad bar for $ 4.80/lb. Considering a pound of spring mix is $ 6 at Vons it is a very good value. I figured iceberg lettuce at best. Awesome views out the patio to Torrey Pines & Pac Ocean. It is now called«The Green Room» or «Green House Café». Named for Cecil B & Ida Green, the philanthropists that funded most of the Scripps Clinic facilities. It is located on the 1st floor of Green Hospital next to the Anderson Outpatient Pavilion & Urgent Care.

I’m not gonna lie, I like hospital cafeteria food! The hot food at Scripps is really delicious and decently priced for a main entrée plus a couple of sides. They have a soup and salad bar, a sandwich bar, refrigerated food items, a variety of drinks and snacks, and even freshly baked pastries and frozen yogurt with different toppings and sweet sauces. Scripps’ cafeteria is one of my favorite hospital cafeterias.
