I would agree that this is THE WORST staffing agencies I have encountered. I would give them zero stars. Her name is Karen Ferarra. And she is not abrupt as one person described, she is strait up rude and unprofessional. I agree with another review here that they say they are looking for one thing in the add but when you interview, the script flips. Karen did not follow up on her emails or calls promptly. She gave me the impression that she was not knowledgeable about the hiring company she represented. She doesn’t seem to like her job. What a B.

I will not go here nor send anyone their way! Karen was so unprofessional. When I received an e mail stating to call about the position I applied for she was very abrupt stating it was time for her to go home and that the position required a degree. No where in the ad did it state a degree was required for this clerical position.
Beware of any job postings from Pride Staff in La Jolla.

Karen and Kimberly are my Agents with Pridestaff and they both have been phenomenal to work with. Keeping open and constant communication with me while I’m in the market is a HUGE plus because as everyone who is active in the job market knows it’s not fun to wonder when the next offer will come after or when you’ll have work again. Pridestaff has provided excellent customer to me personally and have kept me working. Thank you both Kim and Karen for being sych good agents. I recommend you give them a shot!

I LOVE PRIDESTAFF! Thanks to Sharon Dillon, I was employed within two days of my first interview at an amazing company! She is always very responsive to my needs and really does go out on a limb. The rest of the staff is great as well. I go in every Friday to pick up my check and always have a conversation with the girls. Pridestaff is a casual, yet professional atmosphere which I think most people can relate to. I am happy as ever now and I am very proud of my job :) Thanks Pridestaff!
PS. My boss at the company I currently work at said «we love Sharon» on my first day… so that has to be a good sign, right?

What a waste of time, if I could give zero stars, I would! Pridestaff has been advertising on Craigslist on the following dates 12⁄3; 1⁄3; 1⁄7; and 1⁄10 for 100+ people to work at a convention in the downtown area with a walk in job fair each week. I went to their office on 1/​6, applied, and had a 3 minute interview with Sharon Dillon, who essentially only had to say «just keep checking your emails.» So today I got this email:

So, all positions have been filled, but they’re still holding a job fair for it. At this point in time, I’m assuming, just like all temp agencies, that the «convention» is a come on job to get applicants in the office. This is why I never apply for «jobs» with temp services.

Gotta be the worst. They are even worse than Aerotek in the valley. Their jobs don’t exist, only minimum wage labor jobs. They treated me like I was a crackhead looking for day labor. The recruiter was Sharon Dillon and she was not very personable, very rude. She didn’t focus on the ton of skills I have, she tried to find anything negative and focus on that. How do they expect anybody to work for them?

Job postings are not actual jobs on the table. They (and many other agencies) will post jobs in hopes of collecting resumes. What happens to the resumes, who knows? There is high turnover in their staffing agency so that’s not a good sign.

They are polite until they get your information, who knows what they do with it… sell it to third parties? Because they sure aren’t placing people in jobs
