History

Established in 2005.

Coreshape was opened in 2005, after my relocation from the east coast where I had a Pilates and Gyrotonic studio since 2000. Pilates and Gyrotonic have both been a passion of mine since 1992, and 1994, respectively. Studying them both has changed my life and revolutionized my body structure. I cannot imagine my life without them. And I believe in bringing this passion into my teaching and my studio.

I have been studying Pilates since 1992. I started as a client because of childhood scoliosis. After being certified in ¹⁹⁹⁸⁄₁₉₉₉. I decided to put my education into realigning my spine. It was a giant effort at first, but little by little it did fix. I am so much more able to use my body in a structurally stable and proficient manner. Sports that I was not able to do without my back hurting, has become a breeze. I could not imagine my life without Pilates and Gyrotonic.
