Chase Bank

I’ve been her a few times and have never had a problem
–there is a large parking lot, but parking can be tricky especially now with the construction in the area (Whole Foods is currently using the parking lot in front of the bank)
–the bank is large, with several advisors and tellers
–deposit slips, etc are well stocked and the place is clean
–there is complimentary water and coffee
–I got greeted when I came in by one of the advisors who wasn’t busy. she answered a few questions for me and was friendly and knowledgeable
–there were several people in line for the teller, but the line moved quickly. i’ve never had to wait more than three minutes for a teller
–the teller was super friendly, as they have been in the past
–the service advisors i’ve dealt with were both great; knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. they were very good with following-​up too.
–Chris, especially, is a pleasure to work with. (he’s no longer there, unfortunately)
–you do usually have to wait quite a while to see one, but i’m sure you can make an appointment

The teller in the ponytail always has a really bad attitude. I thought customer service is one of the top qualities that banks look for in a teller. Today my boyfriend went to deposit some cash and the teller gave him an attitude saying «next time you come in, count the cash before so I won’t have to recount.» We were both shocked that he would say such thing when he is supposed to count it anyways. Real poor customer service all the time with this specific banker! Maybe he is getting paid poorly? I could not understand why such attitude was needed.

Parking can be tricky because of the construction that’s going on.
I came here on a Wednesday afternoon to talk to one of the bankers about some imporatant bank information. I walked in and everyone was busy, I didn’t want to take up the tellers time to ask them about being helped so I just lulled around until one of the bankers was free to ask them about waiting to talk to someone. I didn’t mind the wait but in most places there’s a waiting list for you to sign up on but there wasn’t one which made it a bit confusing.
The banker was super nice and personable, the wait and no reassurance of being helped right away is aiight.

Large branch with plenty of parking. I was in and out quick and the staff were all very friendly, I usually stop by this location whenever I’m in the la jolla area.

I’ve had both good and poor experiences here as it depends almost entirely on the banker you sit with. Very inconsistent.
Try to come at odd hours to avoid long waits.

Terrible customer service. The banker was too busy talking on the phone about the weather. Was not helpful or personable.

I don’t appreciate how unhelpful the staff was. Other branches have no problem filling out the deposit slip for me, however the woman at this branch had me do it. Then when I messed it up, instead of her fixing it she was telling me how to fix it and had me do it. Just laziness.

Don’t bother with this branch for notary services. I was brushed off since i didn’t have an appointment.

One of the few banks open on President’s Day.
All the workers were there, so I was served fast without having to wait in line.
Nice and clean location with plenty of parking out front. There’s a lot of cool restaurants and stores in this mall.

Went in here to fix an issue with my newly set up bank account since I needed some info changed and they took care it rather quickly. The staff was very friendly and informative. What’s more to say.

Used to be a great branch with nice and friendly staff. They changed over last 2 – 3 month and will never be the same. Super slow cashiers, useless bankers, and simply just not even a smile to greet their customers
Will change to other branches, currently just a huge turn off

Not sure what the negative reviews are about. I’ve always been helped quickly and politely. I work with Eric and he is absolutely the best. Answers all my questions and gets everything I need done. The tellers are always friendly. They have complimentary coffee and water. It is clean and air conditioned. Everytime I walk in and sat on a couch, an associate always comes up to ask if I need help with anything. Seems like a great no fuss bank to me.

First time to this branch since high school (10+ yrs) & I was delightfully surprised!
Not sure if the chaos of the parking lot or the intense & never ceasing traffic in the area scares people away, or if it was an off night, but the place was empty.
The desks where you fill out your slips was clean, well organized & fully stocked. The were 2 coffee stations & a decent amount of staff. The teller was so friendly as were the staff who grated me when I entered.
I will most definitely put this place back on my radar!

Dan the guy with DKNY glasses is a complete D^&*…Iam not even a chase customer walked into make a deposit for someone… no hi. no bye​.no smile… not to me not to the people before me in line…

Impressive customer service each and every time I’ve been here. Normally, I dread going to banks because I’ve always wasted so much time in them. But here I’m confident that I can be in and out in no time.

Really great customer service here! I am new to Chase Bank and choosing to go to this location was the right decision. I was immediately helped by one employee, who immediately introduced me to another employee who was better fit for helping me with the business I came to conduct. The guy who helped me was very friendly and professional. He was very clear in explaining different things and answering any questions I had for him.
I only gave four stars because I felt like the little cubicles were not all that private. While I was in there, I could definitely hear the conversation happening two cubicles over. I think they might need to extend the dividers upward or something…
I like that parking here is so easy and convenient. This branch is also located in a shopping center that I frequent, which is desirable.

The guy I spoke with today seemed like he was new because he was ALL about opening my account and checking to see if I am «taking advantage of all that Chase has to offer.» Mmmhhhhmmmm… Gimme yo numba, boi, and I’ll show you what taking advantage of REALLY means.

My stockbroker gave my # to a banker. Banker calls and offers me a free checking acct with a safety deposit box. I was kinda interested until the guy ended the call with «Alright man, see ya later «

If we were friends then obviously this would be acceptable. If we were co-​workers or neighbors this would also be acceptable.
However. We are not friends, although hopefully in the long run I would like to have a friendly and mutually beneficial financial relationship. I simply expected something a bit more professional sounding. Thats all.
I already have an account with Chase so Im already a customer but Im not thrilled about getting a sales call at 6 pm when Im relaxing at home.

WOW. i love this bank.
tellers are always friendly and smiling. and i’ve had wonderful experiences regarding overdraft fees and requesting copies of transaction history that was over 3 months old! got it delivered the very next day.

I’ve only been inside this Wamu once, but I didn’t have to wait long.
The ATM is always available, but after hours you have to swipe your card to get in. I’ve seen a few people struggling with the door with angry faces before reallzing they gotta get their card out.
Parking is terrible at most times in this plaza. Bah.
