Wish I could give 0 stars. Called at 830 to place pick up order. Was on hold for 30 with automated message saying I was next in line and to please wait someone would be right with me to take Oder. No one ever came. If you want to stop taking orders before 9 then change your hours. If you aren’t taking more orders at least have the phone message say that instead of having people wait unnecessarily. Maybe managers aren’t around close to closing and aren’t aware but it seems it needs to be brought to their attention. Food is usually really good but it seems based on this experience and others that are also posted that customer service and hospitality need to be examined.

I was seriously craving some pasta and thought I’d give this place a try. I ordered the build your own pasta and got Fettuccine Alfredo w/chicken plus some veggies. $ 8 for the pasta and $ 3 to add chicken. It was pretty good. It’s not the best I’ve ever had, but it wasn’t bad. I would come back. It wasn’t busy so we didn’t wait too long to get our food. The food could have come out a little hotter, but all in all we were happy with our meals.

I really cannot give this restaurant a good rating. While I really like the food, they make so many mistakes with our«To Go» orders. They usually leave something out or get the order wrong. What makes it even worse is they only grudgingly give you credit for what was wrong. I would have to say the customer service really needs some work. I definitely cannot recommend this location.

Inadequate staff that make up their own hours of operation according to mood. Choose other location.

I don’t even know where to start the whole experience was horrible. Last night I placed an order for a pizza at 5:20 in the evening, and I know that being a Friday night it might take a little longer than normal. That’s to be expected. The delivery driver didn’t show up until 7PM. That’s an hour and 40 minutes and it’s unacceptable. And to top it all off the order was $ 33. I handed the driver 2 $ 20s and he was about to take off with my change. Let me decide what the tip amount is going to be, not the driver. he may have thought he deserved a seven dollar tip, but I surely didn’t. The pizza was cold, and the crust was like cardboard. I think we would’ve been better off getting a couple of five dollar pizzas from Little Caesars. At least they would’ve been cold. This was a very very disappointing experience for me and I doubt I will ever order from the Lascaro’s again

this place has yet to please me. ive given it so many chances and it has yet to show me what the hype is all about. it is just a few noodles on a plate drenched is sauce. its expensive for the amount of food you get. my grandparents enjoy it when they get the senior discount but they would never pay full price for it. the people that work there aren’t that friendly either. we walked in 20 minutes before closing and wanted to get an order to go and we asked if we were still able to order and the lady at the register rolled her eyes and said yes but was very grouchy about helping us so we ended up going and eating somewhere else that would actually give us good service and not make it seem like serving us is such a hassle.

This 1 star is purely for bad customer service. Got here 18 mins before close and was told they can’t do dine in because they are about to close, to go only. I have been eating out for as long as I can remember and as far as I can remember you stop taking in, including dine in, at closing time. So disappointed.

They have the WORSTSERVICE at this location. It is best to spend the extra 5 – 10 mins to drive to another location. Also the music section is terrible for a family establishment(Skrillex and other loud techno music). Our food is constant forgotten about, slow service, and the management isn’t great either. It’s a constant problem at this location. TAKETHEEXTRATIMEANDGOTOANOTHERLOCATION!!!

Have been coming here for years with the in-laws. Came in tonight for dinner. Things seemed a bit different. You stand in line to place your order at a register, get a number to place on your table. There’s a glass case where you can see the ingredients for the pizzas while you wait in line. That hasn’t changed. What’s different is that the cooks were placing completed pizzas and entrees on top of this case for the waitress to pickup, literally inches from the faces of the people waiting in line. Then the waitress came up and has to excuse herself to squeeze between people in line to pick up the orders to deliver to the table. It smelled great waiting in line, but I really don’t want my entrée sitting within reach(and sneezing distance) of other customers standing in line. You could literally reach, stick your finger in and taste the food sitting there waiting to be carried to a table. The in-laws were disappointed that the senior menu was gone. Food still tastes good and we enjoyed it, but the route it takes from kitchen to table makes me not want to go back.

This is a great little place. They have tasty food and also great customer service. I ordered a meal for delivery and had an issue with them bringing me the pasta with a different type of sauce than I had asked for(even though I had confirmed it with the order taker). As soon as I noticed I called the store and they told me they would be delivering the correct one as soon as possible. I did have to wait a bit and was pretty upset but it eventually came with the right pasta and they also threw in some extra goodies! Great way to make it up :) I would agree with the previous comments that the employees here need to be more aware of their accuracy and that could be hurting their store but I would not go out of my way to say anything bad about this place, their food is still great!

This restaurant has abhorring food. Me and my wife dined at this establishment and found the food to be terrible. I had the Pesto Pasta and my wife ordered the Alfredo Pasta. The food was very bland. Secondly, the food is not what caused me to write this review. My wife wrote a review on this establishment and it was«flagged» as inappropriate. The food is garbage and people should be able to state their opinions on it.

Customer service is great 5 stars, food is excellent, 5 stars except from what I was told, management took away the wifi code and that’s horrible and give it a zero. You mush provide free wifi if we’re spending hard earned money at this establishment :(

i don’t ever write reviews but felt absolutely compelled to. After spending the past 4 weeks traveling in Asia, I decided to get something non-asian near my house and thought, why not some italian. I ordered the chicken arrabiata. it was a pretty basic penne pasta dish with chicken and arrabiata sauce. I thought it was pretty overpriced and the presentation of the dish was just ok. as for taste, it wasn’t exceptional, on par with something like prego. however, was really got me to write this review was that i got FOODPOISONING. after 3 hours of eating that pasta, i threw up multiple times throughout the night. I guess what frustrates me so much about this experience is that I spent weeks eating street food in Asia where the sanitation is definitely questionable, and my first meal back in the states, I get food poisoning. Not sure if they do quality control there, but just wanted to share my experience.

So I ordered online(for delivery) for my family and ended up calling for a status update because my children were starting to turn to dust because they were starving. An hour and a half later after I placed my initial order I was told that they were not notified about my order, although they did repeat my order number back to me. Wwwhhhaaaattt? So we went to get burritos instead.

Does a delivery time of nearly 2 hours warrant a comped meal? You would certainly think so, but they have no concept of customer service at Lascari’s. We ordered about a $ 40 meal for delivery on a week night, around 6 p.m. We were told it would be an hour. At 7:15 we call and they tell us that the driver has left already and should be there any minute. We call back at 7:30, they tell us they think he is at the gas station, and he will be right there. At 7:45 the manager(Edgar) profusely apologized and said our entire meal would get a credit for the next time since they had already processed the credit card — with a $ 7 tip for the driver! The driver shows up a little after that, completely clueless without excuse. The food, though was actually quite good. So when we call back on another night to use our $ 47 credit, we are told that Edgar is gone and he left in his notes that we would get a 30% credit on our next meal. Oh no he didn’t! I would have refused delivery of the food and called my credit card company if he had told me I was only getting a 30% credit. And to top it off, the terrible driver got at $ 7 tip when they couldn’t even find him for an hour? I calmly tell the manager this was not the deal and he offers me a 50% discount. For real? When I was promised 100%? He just said he couldn’t be held responsible for what Edgar told me. So I talk to someone in the corporate office in Whittier who again apologizes and promises that the VP, John Lascari himself, would personally call me and talk me(and presumably give me my credit). That was two weeks ago… Yup, terrible customer service. The food is quite good, but overpriced. Regardless, I wouldn’t eat there anyway after being treated like this. Next step, call American Express and try for a charge back. What a pain, but it’s really the point of the matter.

There is a delivery guy there by the name of Nick. He just delivered our food at our house and he was extremely rude. First of all, he was on the phone the whole time while he was delivering our food. We wanted to check if all our food was there and he was rushing us just so he can get back to his call. We asked him some questions about our order and he rudely said ‘Call the restaurant!’ The food was good but we give them 1 star for their unprofessional delivery guy. Maybe next time, if there is a next time, we might request a different person to deliver our food.

This Cucina style location is a smaller version of a restaurant, giving it a fast food feel with the restaurant taste. Lascari’s has a full service restaurant in Whittier with a well deserved reputation for serving outstanding authentic Italian food since 1971. I like the convenience of calling in your order to the Cucina for pick-up or to eat in their casual indoor setting and watch a game on TV, which we did today. Patio seating is also available. My wife and daughter ordered from the«create your own pasta» menu. Choose up to 4 items(mushrooms, tomatoes etc.), choose your pasta and choose your sauce, for $ 6.99. Add soup or salad for $ 1.99. For $ 7.99, I had spaghetti & meatballs. All meals include warm sourdough bread. We’ve always enjoyed the food and friendly service with reasonable prices. Today was no exception. After a wonderful Italian meal like we just had, you might leave speaking with an Italiano accent! Buen Appetito!
