Tonight was our first time and our last going to this restaurant. The restaurant was empty. All tables in the center were reserved. They sell clothes and toys inside the restaurant, which is odd. When our order arrived at the table, the server brought us serving tray of chicken Fettuccine, bread, and salad. The pasta was served on a tray, that looked unpleasing how it was presented. No plate at all. First, the chicken was not toss with fettuccine pasta. The chicken was shredded and dry to pieces on top. The Alfredo sauce had no flavor. On same tray they put the dinner salad in a bowl touching the pasta. In the salad bowl they put the ramekin of ranch on top of the salad, which unsanitary. Since the server touch the ramekin and put it on of the salad. We also, had a pizza. That did not have flavor. We Ordered the chorizo, avocado, and bean pizza. The pizza need some type of flare/spice to it. Maybe mix the beans with a spicy salsa. Or even don’t use the beans as your base. Use some spicy salsa as your marinara. Then use whole black beans, roasted corn, finely chop onions, and fresh jalapeño on top. They used large pieces of bell peppers on top and large onions on top that took over the flavors. Also, pizza needed about 10 more minutes to cook so the topping could cook more. No one came by to see if we needed anything. They never asked if we needed refills. The music was mellow music, «the wave». As we were leaving both servers were sharing a pizza and drinking large soda. This was about 730pm. Both on break at the same time. They said bye to us while enjoying their pizza. I have ran restaurant for many years and was not happy the presentation of the food and the lack of organization of the restaurant. I can see why the restaurant was empty on Thursday. I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone.

So this was the spot that my son’s soccer team had their pizza party. I checked them out here on Unilocal and judging from the reviews, I wasn’t expecting much from this place. But, I was pleasantly surprised. I really liked the pizza and garlic bread. I’m not a salad person but my BF ended up eating the whole bowl himself. The only thing is the pizza size seemed a little small but other that, nothing to complain about. A couple of the girls came by the table a few times to check if everything was good. I wouldn’t mind coming back if I was in the area, and I would definitely recommend to give this place a try despite the reviews. :)

I called here to make sure that they had the PAC12 network. They called me back & said yes they have the PAC12 network because they have cable. When we showed up they DIDNOT have the network. We had a party coming & had to cancel and find some where else to go very last minute. Very unprofessional.

I don’t know why my 1st review didn’t reflect how great the pizza is… maybe it has improved in the last couple of years, who knows, but the pizza in my last 2 visits was delish! Crust was perfect and the pizza isn’t all greasy like many other places around here. It’s definitely worth the visit when in town.

Love this place!!! Awesome place to go with kids especially after games. The food and staff is great. She has about 5 tvs. We love the fact that it is very family friendly it’s vs people going to drink and watch a game.

I absolutely love this pizza place. The owner is so friendly and accommodating. She has hosted many fundraisers for my kids sport and school events. This place has the best pizza in town! The vegetarian options are also very yummy as well. The bar has a good selection of nice cold beer! If you are into watching sports this is the place to go! They have a lot of tv’s and a small arcade to entertain the kids. It’s a family friendly atmosphere where you can relax and enjoy a great meal!

Walked into the place and we were the only customers in here. Ordered our food, took forever. Ordered appetizers and my girlfriends food came out first. I got stuck waiting for my appetizers

I went again today and I have to say I’m very disappointed in our lunch/dinner. I ordered lasagna then was asked to change my order because there was no more lasagna. We also ordered an appetizer and didn’t receive it Til AFTER we were done with our food and about to leave. Salad came out with our food and not before. Would have been nice to munch on that first while we waited for our food and not have our food waiting their and get cold under their 10 fans that were on high. Nothing special about their food today. They also charged my friend for a refill but didn’t charge me for a refill. Didn’t make sense. Probably will find a new spot to spend my money at when I want pasta.

I’m not sure why there are negative reviews on here about this place. But here’s my review. My family and I walked into this place by accident, there’s actually 2 pizza places in this shopping center and we walked into this one by accident since a friend recommended the one at the other end of the shopping center, but it ended up being a good accident. We’ve been here 5 times so far in the last 3 months. Every time we come here we were always treated right and the food is the best!!! Honestly I’ve ate at every mom and pop pizza in Whittier and la habra since I moved to the area 2yrs ago. That’s a more has the best pizza in town! There pizza is so delicious, it has a buttery garlic taste on the crust and the cheese on the pizza taste fresh. Once you take a bite out of there pizza your taste buds can’t stop asking for more. Even my picky kids love this place, the spaghetti with meat sauce is one of there favorite side dishes. The atmosphere is like any atmosphere of a mom and pop pizza parlor. Many times we’ve gone little league baseball teams have there party there. Yeah the place can be a little loud, but it’s suppose to be loud! They pass dodger games there now and have about 5 tvs there passing sports all the time. The owner is supper nice and has talked to us at least twice out of the 5 times we’ve been there. A lot of people in Whittier and la habra love this place, and I’m sure if they used Unilocal they would put there reviews up too. Don’t listen to the bad reviews you see on here, go try it for yourself and you too will be hooked on there delicious pizza!

Not bad, second time going, first time had a very friendly and attentive waitress, got the family deal salad, garlic bread, pasta, pitcher of soda and large pizza used a coupon so for the money it’s a great deal, plus it’s pretty good. My only negative this time the waitress. No service at all just dropped off our food and didn’t return, very different from our first experience.

Ok, so this place had roaches for years until beginning of August. I heard the owner would never deal with it until the health inspector finally came in and caught the roaches there. The wings are store bought and she heats them up, they are NOT fried like they should be. The spaghetti is microwaved along with all pastas. Sometimes when food is dropped, it’s put back on to serve. Several employees have quit because of the bosses yellings and the way she is. The place is just disgusting, I know several employees that have left because of the work environment there. Do not eat here, stay away.

we had a baby shower for our daughter on Saturday the 8th of march. manager marian and karem and the staff did an awsome job. They took care of all of our needs from drinks to the food. Our family and friends mentioned the staff was so competent and attentive to everyone. If you ever want to have an event, that’s AMOREPIZZERIA in la habra is the place to have it. My husband and I would like to thank the whole staff. You will always have our business.

Kinda vanilla when it comes to Italian food. I’ve only eaten here for fund raisers and honestly that’s probably the only time I’d make the effort. It’s okay… but nothing special really. No complaints, just nothing WOW about it. It’s a bit confusing as to where you go and what you do when you get inside… do you sit and get waited on? do you order over here or over there? But the people behind the counter, when I’ve been there, have been really nice(give or take an oddball or two). Every time I’ve been, there’s been a mess up in delivery of the correct food, but then again it was a fundraiser and so maybe it was more busy or crowded than usual? They eventually got it right, but it doesn’t help when your order number is 47 and there are TWO #47s waiting to be served. Oops, someone made one too many of that table marker, huh? Nice selection of beers and drinks. Food menu items have a decent list as well. Nothing fancy but it’s still pretty good food. Kind of tastes like what you’d get if you went to dinner at someone’s dorm. Décor on the walls is pretty cool though, take a look around if you can. BONUS: I will say that if you are looking for some sports memorabilia, they’ve got a little area where they sell some great stuff! All kinds of teams represented and tons of different items; bumper stickers, bibs, keychains, hats, towels, flags, bottle openers… and the list goes on! Would I take my family or meet friends here for a nice Italian meal? Nope. But I would go back to support a team sport or school event.

I hate leaving bad reviews for any business, but our overall experience here was really poor. They have what seems like 16 year old girls at the cash register and waitresses who have no clue how to even smile and greet customers. Let alone even ask how the food was. I’m sure the pizza is good there most of the time but ours was soggy and kind of plain tasting. What really kind of grossed me out were the hot wings. I for one think they are frozen wings and then just deep fried, not fresh at all. They had a really slimy consistency and tasted almost like Vaseline with hot sauce. There were 1 or 2 that sill weren’t fully cooked. I should have said something but I left them all opened up so maybe when they came and picked up the plate they would notice the pink centers. In the end I only took a bite of one. These seem like pretty easy issues they can correct with some more proper training for the staff and kitchen. I might try this place out again in the future who knows.

Tried this place the other day at a meeting and this place catered the food. Spaghetti was decent, the garlic bread was okay and the salad was fine. In all it was a okay dinner. Nothing fancy and that’s okay. Doubt I will make it to their restaurant.

Vegetarian pizza here is good. On our first visit we were a little lost as to where to go, how to order, etc. No frills service, you walk up to the counter to order. If you want another round of whatever, you have to fetch it yourself. They do bring your food out to you and will ask if you need something. Lots of games for the kids. TVs spread around playing multiple sports events. My boyfriend likes to order the lasagna. The«bread sticks» or whatever they are, are very thinly sliced, crisp and very tasty. I wouldn’t change them at all :) This place is «mom and pop» type of place. There might be a few things that aren’t perfect, but I don’t want perfect. I want somewhere that feels comfortable and satisfies my pizza urges. This place fits the bill nicely. :)
