The food was pretty good. The prices are really good. And the staff was really nice. I would go back.

HOHOCHINAISSERIOUSLYTHEYUMMIEST. I don’t understand some of these negative reviews, but every single time I went here to eat, I got a generous amount of good tasting food. The place is clean with tables and it’s just a nice eating location. They have the best orange chicken I must say. I used to drive all the way here from Diamond Bar for Chinese take out just because it was so satisfying. The workers are really nice too. I’ve been here at least 10x and I never had a bad experience. Try this place out if you want more bang for your buck.

The food was excellent. The Hoho Combo is a good deal, 2 sides, rice, chow mein, soda and a almond cookie, under $ 7. The appearance of the place is really great, very clean, and good service. I recommend this place

What you would expect: cheap prices, large quantities, just ok quality. I don’t go to these sorts of Chinese take out restaurants expecting high quality food; I come to fill my stomach when my funds are tight. This place did exactly that. There’s a special which comes with two items, plus rice/noodle, a cookie, and drink for less than $ 7. That’s a great deal.

Very nice people and some yummy Chinese take out. My mom has been getting food from them since I was 10. Being a customer for more than a decade o still like the food. Especially when you get the chicken fried rice :)

Do they serve you a lot? Yes, Is the customer service good and attentive? Yes, Are the prices good? Yes, Is the food as good as everything else? No, unfortunately. If you look at my other reviews you can see that I love me some Chinese food. Living in La Habra for so long and not having been here yet, I finally decided to give it a try. Was it bad? Nope, but it also wasn’t spectacular… other than the prices. On my visit I tried(I did not eat this all by myself) the orange chicken, kung pao chicken, pepper chicken and the chow mein. The orange chicken was definitely the highlight of the meal. It is very good, a little soft but has that American Chinese Orange Chicken flavor we all crave. Everything else was tolerable, nothing worth mentioning. If you are super hungry and only want to spend less than $ 7 for a meal this is the place for you.

You crave Chinese food but don’t want to spend too much money? This is the place to go. Since I’ve found this place, I never went to Panda express. Way cheaper than other Chinese food places but they really PACK your food in the container. I mean, sometimes I feel bad just because they pack so much food. I usually get a white rice with two orders of orange chicken. I really do think that their orange chicken is the best in town. You need to try this place if you haven’t yet. It will not disappoint you. However, don’t expect to get a high quality food. You get what you pay for.

This place is really good. It has been one of my husband’s favorite places for a while now. I am not crazy about Chinese food but I do like the Eggplant and tofu with white rice. My husband loves the beef and broccli. They always give prompt service and the place is always clean.

Got really sick. I ordered the pineapple chicken and the kung poa chicken. I’ve spent the last hour and a half throwing up/etc. in the bathroom. Should’ve known from the food tasting a little off/bland. I won’t be returning. Thanks for ruining my Saturday night ho-ho.

Small Chinese restaurant, usually great but does have its down falls.(It’s not like Panda Express which has exact measurings to be consistent taste wise) but great deal for under $ 7 you get Fried Rice, Cow Main, Two Items, Drink, and an Almond Cookie.

I absolutely love this place. The prices are low and the taste is just amazing. My bf and I always come here to get our chinese food craving fix. The chow mein is perfect, unlike panda who puts too many damn veggies and the noodles are hard. But here, they are just right! They serve huge portions and the staff is very friendly.

I’ve been coming here since 2008! The owner is very nice! The workers are friendly. Big portions little price. People need to understand this isn’t some high end Shiz. I give 5 stars in the cheap food category. Honestly the food is pretty good! It’s not over salted. If you want more salt add soy sauce, sriacha or lick your knee… Ew haha Anyways, clean place, good portion, good service, and good food 5 stars for its category.

The good: big portions, cheap price, free almond cookie with combo. The bad: no flavor, greasy food, outside tables allow smoking(cigars, gee thanks) I mainly wrote this review because I think the reviews are a bit inflated. Even for cheap Chinese food the quality here is lacking.

Korean owned ghetto Chinese food. c’mon. what do u think i’m going to rate it? Ho Ho with it’s funny name has been around for awhile. Unlike most ghetto chinese spots in the hizzles, Ho Ho & Amy’s Wok, ahem i mean happy wok, remained true the ghetto chinese food genre. As expected this stuff is greasy! but not that greasy compared to the average spot. Orange Chicken is very sweet. For some reason, i don’t mind the sweetness. Teri Chicken is no different than other places. THe difference is they cut the pieces thick which i like. The sauce is way to sweet for me so i never use it, if the teri chicken is to dry, i utilize siracha. BBQ Pork isn’t as greasy or give you that nasty feeling like other spots. The flavors are rich when its fresh and cooked perfectly. String bean chicken has too many damn string beans haha. Mushroom chicken can be translated to squash chicken. Eggplants with tofu(doo boo) used to be my fave, but once they started dousing it with sauce rather leaving it sorta dry, i dislike. the distribution is 3 to 4 in favor of eggplants too which blows. Fried Rice is nothing special. Chow Mein is pretty good. It tastes similar to amy’s wok(happy wok) which leads me to believe they use the same supplier which means they aren’t fresh noodles. Service is always good. Being a recognizable consumer helps. Being a nice recognizable consumer goes a long way at local restaurants. Being the same ethnicity with superiority complex gives you special treatment Al Sharpton will sue over if they found out =P All joking aside, the wife is verbally nicer of the two, but the husband shows way more love when it comes to filling up the box. p. s. they don’t water down the siracha here! SCORE. happy grubbings.
