History

Established in 1911.

Originally known as Whittier Vulcanizing, Daniels Tire Service was founded in 1911, by R.F. Daniels. The one man operation gradually grew, and in 1929 Arden G. Daniels assumed control of the company. Ten years later, 1939, he established a business relationship with the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, a relationship that still exists today. The company operates 7 commercial truck tire centers, 9 automotive service centers, and a Goodyear retread plant. The business is still family owned, with a fourth generation of the Daniels family entering the business in 1993.

I came to Goodyear/​Daniels ~The First time I came here and I wanted to post again that the gentleman who initially gave me such wonderful service was Francisco. I had my oil changed and I had a coupon and I googled and decided to come here. i am very glad I did and wanted to let others know that this is a great place to get your car worked on. I have since come back again and Frank helped me. Again wonderful service. They will make sure that you get your car back on the road… i will be coming back for sure!

Went in for two tires had to wait a week. So I went in and the manager is giving me a bit of a discount. Which does help. He explained it was goodyear not making the tire anymore after 2015. So goodyear basically screwed these guys over. I just wish someone besides the sales guy had looked into it in the first place. Frank the salesman was the only guy there who seem to try and help me.

Came in on a busy Saturday for a repair after discovering a nail in my tire. They were able to fit me in immediately and fix what was needed. What I was most impressed by was the fact that they didn’t give me the evil-​eye when my inquisitive 3 year old was inspecting the show room.

I’ve brought my car here about 3 times and each time I’ve found the service to be less and less. First visit was great! Second visit… Was ok. My car was still making noise but the said imy car was fixed and I asked why it still makes noise, and to explain it to me… Oh my lord. I should have just googled it and gotten a better answer. My last time my check engine light was on… They claimed they didn’t have the device to check what was wrong with it and hey would pick the device up from another store… Long story short I left my car there all day and the check engine light was NEVER checked.

Staff tried to sell me tires I didn’t want. That also tried the good old «You also need. «when I all I wanted was an oil change. STOP TRYING TO SELL ME STUFF I DONT NEED! Oh, and stuff has disappeared from my glove box.

I came in to get a tire replaced because it was flat. I called before going and Mario picked up and assisted me the rest of the way.
He told me to come in and offered directions if needed. He also let me know there was a wait but I wasn’t too concerned.
Mario was friendly and helped me get a really good deal on a new tire and put nitrogen into my tires. Awesome!!!
Thank you to Mario for ur great customer service and the gentlemen that fixed my tires. I’ll be back. And I’ll bring others!

I came to Daniels Tire Service for a set of Assurance Fuel Max tires. Sean was very helpful over the phone, and setting up an appointment was simple and hassle free. I was late to pick up my vehicle (I thought they closed later than they did), and Mario graciously stayed thirty minutes late to wait for me.
Excellent customer service will keep me coming back in the future.

I decided to come here because of the check in offer which is a great offer! I made an appt today, a tuesday morning, and got one for 10am. Came in and got greeted right away by Sean. He got me all checked in. The lobby is clean with pretty damn cushy comfy chairs! It has great AC too! Haha! Sean gave me a list of what needs to be done and the severity of the problems and urgency of them. He wasn’t pushy about any of it which was much appreciated! Overall it was a great experience and I would definately reccomend this location!

My go to place for oil changes. Saw the Unilocal offer and couldn’t pass it up. Big waiting room makes for a comfortable experience. Friendly staff take the time to explain their diagnosis and recs without being pushy. Happy customer glad to give them my business.

Where are these 5 star ratings coming from? These guys kept my car for a whole month! They kept calling me letting me know what was wrong with the car and would fix it right away, only to barely remember that your car is still in their shop and to not even remember what was suppose to bet fixed 2 WEEKS LATER PLUS CHARGING EXTRA FOR THE TIME SPENT AT THEIR USELESS LAZY WORKING SHOP! They also had to send my car to another shop because they had no idea what was wrong with the car, WHEN IT WAS IN WORKING AND RUNNING CONDITION, WHEN I TURNED IT IN HERE. They have delayed me from working and I’m filing a lawsuit against these guys.

You know that feeling you get when you go to an auto mechanic and you know that they are ripping you off? Well I didn’t feel that at all here. Frank was upfront, professional, and courteous throughout the whole time. They have a pretty good deal going on for an oil change plus a 12 point inspection. They gave a good estimation on the wait time and called me when to give me an update when they were working on my car.
10⁄10 would oil change again.

I went to this Goodyear location after reading great reviews I was VERY skeptical because I went to a M&R Goodyear in Santa Fe Springs off Telegraph and it was the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had with my car.
That being said I went here to get a 30k Mile Maintenance done on my vehicle. Sean was great he explained everything to me upfront and told me what I could get away with and what should be done at that time he did not BS me into things I could not afford or use intimidation or F with my car like M&R a did…
In fact he explained some great things I never knew about myths and truths of what mechanics try to up sell because of this honesty and trustworthiness I felt from this experience I’ll be coming back here for all maintenance for my vehicle

I went to Daniels Tire to get brakes done. Customer service was excellent. Gary and Sean were very helpful in explaining every thing that needed to be done. I’ve had experiences elsewhere where I have felt pressured into things that I didn’t really need. Not here, I felt very comfortable and was given what I thought was a very fair and reasonable estimate. The work was done in a very acceptable amount of time and I left there very satisfied. I highly recommend Daniels Tire service. I know that I will be back for future service when the need arises.

Best auto repair center I’ve been to so far. They were very straightforward with the service and told me exactly what I needed fixed on my car without trying to sell me bullshit. Their prices were extremely competitive and they didn’t charge ridiculous labor fees for quick fixes such as battery installation. This will be my auto shop for the foreseeable future.

Found coupon online. Stopped in for oil change. Admired old Chrylser woody owned by smog tech. Paid a very reasonable charge for oil change. Done in less than an hour.
Friendly folks without too much upselling. My truck does need some past due maintenance, but today is New Years Eve and I was in a hurry. I recommend Daniels in La Habra.
