Second time the family came to this event. Last time, I had the flu and missed out, so I was excited to come out this year. The kids loved the rides, especially the slide. There was a decent variety of food trucks, with Mexican, BBQ, sliders, and some others. Music was decent, and the crowd was very family-oriented. Fireworks show was pretty impressive for a small venue, and the skydivers were a great surprise! The whole family had a good time — can’t wait until next year!

Fun local event. Parking was easy @ CV($ 5) and a short walk to the elementary. There were LOTS and LOTS of people so if being around ppl is not your thang, don’t come. There were about a handful of carnival rides, about 2 for smaller kids. There were a few food trucks serving food, drinks, and ice cream. The security was impressive(perhaps annoying to others). GETTHEREEARLY and reserve a spot with your chairs/blankets. Best part is lying down and watching the fireworks above. About a 20 – 30 min show including a couple of breaks in the beginning. Will come back again and will make sure to come prepared: blanket, chairs, food, drinks.

The city holds a great 4th of July fireworks show at the elementary school every year! There is lots of music, food, and rides for the whole family to enjoy. Gates open at 4 pm and close at 8:30 pm prior to the start of the show, but be sure to get there early for good seats! There is a $ 5 entry fee, but children 2 and under are free.
