Used «A Junk Free Planet» last week to pick up some pallets and boxes and will definitely be calling on them again! Excellent service and they came within the hour we called. Picked up everything for a reasonable fee and now our front gate look junk free :). Easy cc payment right then and there. Price varies on the load.

I had a spa that had been emptied years ago and left covered. Over time the cover rotted and water got into the spa over many years. My attempt to empty out the water was fruitless. Last night I discovered it now had become home for frogs. So at around 9 pm on a Saturday night I found A Junk Free Planet on the internet and called expecting to leave a message. I was shocked when Pernell answered the phone and was at my home at 7:30 this morning (Sunday). By 10 am the spa was gone along with the frogs. I didn’t think this kind of service existed any more and would recommend Pernell and A Junk Free Planet to everyone. They do all types of de-​trashing, not limited to just spas.

These guys are awesome. They came to our place for a Jacuzzi removal, but because of some miscalculation/​miscommunication we didn’t go through with their service. They were so nice and professional about it, these guys are GOOD BUSINESS. We’re still calculating the cost and phoning around for this particular 2-​part job, but for sure they’ll be in our thoughts for recommendations and future jobs.

We called Junk Free Planet to help clean out a house our Mother had lived in for over 30 years. We had everything from furniture, glassware, holiday decorations and an old storage shed we needed removed. Everything was handled perfectly. They were on time, professional, polite and the cost was more than reasonable for all of the work that they did. Do not hesitate to call this company you won’t be sorry, they deliver on their promises.

I am an ex-​hoarder with two dead or unused giant televisions in my house. One is the old projection type, two feet deep, five feet high, very heavy and awkward. The other a slimmer projection model. They sat in my house for two years, friends were unwilling to help me. Perhaps it was the fact that these monsters had to be carried down 20 steps to the street below that sealed my fate. Visiting a friend in April, he told me not to expect friends to help, but to hire someone to do the dirty work. So I Googled «hauling» and right away found Pernell Hill and his company A Junk Free Planet. The price quoted was very similar to other hauling businesses, but something told me to stick with Pernell. Within two weeks of contact we arranged for Pernell and his assistants to show up at my house yesterday. He came out to my house earlier in the week to see what he would be getting himself into, and to my great joy and relief he and his assistants expertly and quickly moved these monsters out of the house, down the flight of stairs and into their truck. The entire operation took less than half an hour. Not a single snag. Pernell was very professional and very focused and every attempt to move these giant TVs worked out perfectly, considering that the biggest of the TVs had to be turned on its side and moved down a hallway, through a dining and living room area, and out through an entryway to the outdoors. I almost wished I had videotaped the entire process. I told Pernell and his assistants that I would be SCREAMING for joy to have these TVs out of the house. And, yes, they accept tips. I HAD to tip these men; they did such a great job. I will definitely be calling A Junk Free Planet back for the next job, mostly moving big boxes down to the garage and perhaps the removal of two dog houses from the back yard (the dogs sleep in the bed). I had a wonderful experience using a Junk Free Planet. They were readily available and willing to work with me on the price. Pernell, Jared and Cassie at A Junk Free Planet were amazing. I’m moving out of state and needed a couch and bed removed. Not only were they honest and upfront about pricing on the phone, they arrived on time and completed the task quickly. They had offered me same day removal, which wasn’t an option for me, and requested Sunday afternoon removal. They were only too happy to come.
I will recommend them to all my friends out here in LA that need junk removal.

I decided to surprise my husband by cleaning up a particularly, disastrous area in our backyard while he was away on vacation. It was a «nook» (hoarders paradise) located behind the house hidden by a gated door which made it the perfect place to throw everything that had no place.
I had the city bring out a temporary bin and I started work on Saturday… by Sunday I was nowhere near done… I mean I was «done»…but the trash was still there, staring me down through sweat stained eyes.
By Sunday night I knew I was in trouble. I sent an email to Junk Free Planet and the next day got a call back from Pernell. I explained my situation (I gave up) and he asked if he could come out in the next hour. What??? Of course!
I was a bit worried that this was going to be a wasted trip. I assumed that the price would be astronomical (I just got a quote of $ 300.00 for window cleaning) so I wasn’t overly optimistic. I was happily incorrect. He showed and quoted me an amazing price. Not only did he haul all of the junk, he cleaned up the area and he and his partner did it quickly.
I haven’t written a lot of reviews lately on Unilocal,so when I do it’s because the person/​company is deserving of the praise. I know that I will be calling them out again when I try to tackle the garage (hoarders part 2) but I promised Pernell I would wait until the fall, when the weather cools down.
