We’ve been going to Dr Suh for 3 years since my son was about 2 or so. At our July appointment he warned us that my son may need one or two teeth pulled as when he looked at the X-​rays the adult teeth weren’t growing in properly. He said to come back if the adult teeth came in behind the baby teeth. Sure enough, 2 weeks later the first adult tooth came in behind and my son needed to have two teeth removed. We got a second opinion from my adult dentist and he agreed both needed to come out.
Dr Suh fit us in the next day and was awesome with my son. He gave him laughing gas and numbing cream before injecting him with novocaine. My son is deathly afraid of needles and Dr Suh had some great tips for hiding the needle, distracting him and having him wear glasses because of the light. As such, my son never saw the needle and Dr Suh quickly removed both teeth. One of them was huge with a root way bigger than the tooth itself.
My son actually thought all of this was cool and had no pain that night or the next day following the Dr’s tip of eating cold ice cream all night to help with the swelling and to keep the blood floor or capillaries closed. While I’ve had a fine experience with Dr Suh at our regular checkups, I was very nervous about the teeth being pulled and felt so bad for my son as these were his first teeth to come out. I was so impressed with how Dr Suh and his dental technician handled this super scary experience for both my son, my husband and me. My kid is still happy to go to the dentist even which I never expected. The adult tooth which had come in very crooked is even now mostly in the right place all on its own thanks to these teeth not being in the way. Thanks Dr Suh!

This place is a complete rip off. They will charge you an arm and a leg for anything. We had an appointment for 4 but wasn’t seen till 5 what a joke. My child needed alot of dental work and they quoted us over 3k. I guess I should have expected that because he was sporting a Rolex on this wrist. His wife is the receptionist as well who wears a matching Rolex. We understand your a dentist and make tons of money but try being humble. This place will rob you of your hard earned money. Not in it for kids but the cash.

I can’t even tell you Unilocalers how wonderful Dr Suh is. My daughter had numerous cavities and I needed a Dr who I can trust to help make this traumatic experience much smoother for our family. After interviewing 3 other dentists I was recommended by my dentist to go see Dr Suh where his kids go. When we first walked in his office it was very cute and child friendly. The staff was very professional but very sweet with my daughter. They walked her into her chair where me and my other daughter where able to go in and watch her. They even have a playing area inside so your other child can play while you watch what they are doing. My daughter was very happy to see that they have mini TV’s on the ceiling so she could watch the latest Disney movie while they work on her teeth. Over all Dr Suh was very calm and patient with my daughter. He talked to her the entire time and made her feel relaxed. I was very pleased with the whole experience and am happy to say I found my children’s permanent dentist.

Finding a good pediatric dentist is such a RELIEF for a mom. Dr Suh is the best.
After taking my little daughter to a dentist in Glendale, and having her tied up to a chair for her tooth removal (a total nightmare i could never forget), I found Dr Suh, who is so gentle and goes the extra mile to make sure the kids feel comfortable. I was really upset that he didnt have a lot of 5 star reviews, which he deserves a lot. i only Unilocal for the best of the best and he is one of them.

Dr. Suh is a great pediatric dentist that my son has been going to for at least 10 years. Actually, he was the third dentist we went to after firing the first two who shall remain nameless. One of the things I love about this office is that they will always fit you in if you have an emergency. This is a necessity when you have kids. I have called so many times at the last minutes and they have always made time. The dental hygienists are wonderful and the front office staff are too. I know there are better rating venues for doctors, but I noticed the other negative review and wanted to add a little positive input. Keep up the good work Dr. Suh and staff.

Receptionist is so rude. Not accommodating. Can’t speak English!!!

Absolutely appalling level of incompetence.
Our first visit, he only addressed my husband, even though I was the one asking questions. Thought that was odd but wrote it off to personality. I took my then 2-​year-​old son to «Dr» Suh because I thought I saw what could be cavities and he was in-​network with my insurance. Suh said he saw cavities and let’s watch them closely.
For a year (my son’s 3 now) we saw Suh every 3 months. At our last visit, he said he saw SIX cavities and we shouldn’t wait any more. He wanted to fill the cavities and my son would need oral sedation. He charged us $ 100 fee because they were going to block time off to watch him closely after my son was given his oral cocktail. We showed up at 9am and my son was given his medicine to drink. The doctor didn’t come back to see him (because he was seeing another patient during the time he was supposed to have blocked off for us) until 10:30. By that time the drugs were wearing off and my son was very cranky (early morning wake-​up to make it to office on time, and no breakfast for sedation). He was having none of it. We got out of the office around 11:30 with nothing but a botched sedation to show for it. «Dr» Suh suggested that we need to move to the next step and try and IV sedation and put my son to sleep next time. My husband (an M.D.) had concerns that Suh and his staff didn’t seem to have the situation under control, and I was wary about putting our son under general anesthesia, so we decided to try someone else and get a second opinion.
I was absolutely appalled when our new pediatric dentist informed us that she saw no cavities that needed treatment (She saw stains and spots that needed watching, but NO cavities). When I think about the year of stressing out, of thinking my son had SIX cavities how close we were to putting him under general anesthesia to drill SIX teeth for NO reason. Needless to say, I’m furious.
