Dr. Dickinson offers state-​of-​the-​art, practical, and compassionate urological services. At Urology Associates of Central Texas, we pride ourselves on prompt service and on offering the latest advances in urological care while keeping the needs of the patient in the forefront.

Dr. Dickinson practices in virtually all aspects of adult urology. He has special interests in therapy for enlarged prostates and prostate cancer in men, incontinence in men and women, vasectomy (male sterilization), kidney stone treatment and prevention, minimally invasive surgery for kidney cancer, and overactive bladder (OAB or urge incontinence).

History

Established in 2010.

Dr. Dickinson was pleased to open his urology practice in Kyle, Texas at Seton Medical Center Hays in September of 2010. To better serve his patients, Dr. Dickinson offers a clinic day, once a month, at a Seton Satellite Clinic in Lockhart. He performs surgeries at all of the Austin-​area Seton hospitals, Brackenridge Hospital, St. David’s Medical Center, and several Austin-​area surgical centers, including Arise Austin and the Hays Surgery Center in Kyle.

Dr. Dickinson grew up in San Antonio and graduated from Rice University in 1995 with a BA in Chemistry. He attended the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, graduating with honors in 1999. Dr. Dickinson then completed his surgical and urology training at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 2004.

After residency, Dr. Dickinson established a private practice in Killeen, Texas, with a satellite clinic in Rockdale, from 2004 – 2006. He was then recruited by Scott & White to join their multispecialty group at the University Medical Campus Scott & White Hospital in Round Rock. While at Scott & White, he was the Director of Urology and an Assistant Professor of Surgery.
