Specialty care of the skin, hair and nails. We are an academic group of board certified dermatologists who take care of patients with concerns regarding their skin. We are involved with the new Dell Medical School at University of Texas and the Dermatology Training Program in Austin and Kyle. We have 4 physicians with a collective teaching experience of more than 30 years. In addition to common skin disorders such as eczema, psoriasis, acne, warts, and skin cancers, we also have doctors who specialize in cosmetic treatments such as Botox and fillers, dermatopathology, pigmentary disorders including melasma and vitiligo and a specialty hair disorder clinic for patients with hair loss. We see patients of all ages and accept many insurance plans including Medicaid, Medicare, Tricare and most insurance carriers.

History

Established in 2008.

Dr. Dayna Diven came to Austin Texas from UTMB Galveston in 2004 in order to begin a Dermatology Training Program in Austin. The Seton Family of Doctors clinic opened in Kyle along with the Seton Medical Center Hays. There were no dermatology services being offered in Kyle, Buda, Lockhart and surrounding cities so in 2008 we were excited to start a dermatology service in Kyle at SFOD. Dr. Ammar Ahmed was recruited from Dallas to join the practice in 2010. Dr. Carlo Gavino and Dr. Jennifer Vickers both have training in Dermatology and Dermatopathology and joined the practice in 2014.
