Microtel Inn & Suites Klamath Falls

First off I got to say my company put me up here so I have no idea about the cost of the hotel. I stayed here 5 days while I was working. First off, the rooms are small, the bed was a double or a very small queen, wasn’t overly comfy but wasn’t uncomfortable. The hotel was clean, neat and the rooms looked well maintained. The staff was friendly and nice, they had no problems going out of their way to help me with the one or two questions I had. The pool/​hot tub was nice, pool wrapped inside and outside which was a neat feature. The internet was fast and reliable.
If you like to spend a lot of time in your hotel room, you would find it small, I would definitely get cabin fever if i spent very much time in the small room, however if you just need a nice place to sleep that has decent amenities this is spot on.
They have a business lounge, and a free breakfast neither which I took part in, as there are plenty of restaurants I visited while in K falls. The biggest plus in my opinion was the free gym pass, most hotels have a small work out room usually consisting of a treadmill on a all in one deal. However they had the idea of partnering with a local gym which you just show your key card and are admitted. I was able to go get a full work out in, while the gym isn’t anything special it does have all the equipment needed to get a good work out.
With out knowing the cost, I would stay here again.

We reserved a suite for five people two months in advance, but we were given a room with only two queen beds and a 2’x6’ window seat that was hard as a rock. No other rooms or cots were available, so we were provided with extra pillow and sheets (with scarily large blood stains on them!). We would have switched hotels but we arrived at 9:00 PM and the five surrounding options were completely booked. Friendly but completely inexperienced person on staff would not provide discount. No manager on premises. Did I mention the bug infestation by the window and vomit stains on the carpet? Quite comical actually… what else could we do but laugh?! But seriously, don’t stay here…

Smallest Queen room we’ve stayed in (hint is in their name) and NOT up to Wyndham standards. High price for such a small room, higher than listed in AAA book, small towels, no hair dryer. Agree, walls are thin, room is clean…

Rooms are called Suites but I expected a bigger room… Quiet and clean and friendly staff and the continental free breakfast is a bonus

Be prepared to be disturbed by your neighbors, as the walls are essentially paper. I consider this a major con, as I was hoping for a nice night of sleep. I will say that my room appeared clean.

Stayed here a couple months ago with my husband and dogs.
Driving up to the Klammath Falls area was a shocker. Apparently they have these bugs that swarm the area in high numbers this time of the year (late summer). They are little and green and are on everything. They get into your car and form little tornadoes of bugs. Certainly can’t fault the hotel for that but it was very gross.
They have luggage carts out in the open, so we were able to use one quickly to get our things into the elevator and up to our room.
Our room was pretty nice. Though I was disappointed they had throw pillows on the bed, as I doubt those get washed. I tossed it on the floor in the corner.
The lights and mirrors behind the beds were a nice touch and made doing my makeup easy.
The breakfast was the best I have had at the 6 hotels we stayed at throughout our trip. They had gravy, biscuits, hard-​boiled eggs, and plenty to eat and drink.
The front desk staff was friendly and enjoyable to speak with.

Entire third floor smelled like Doritos. Room was adequate size. Bathroom smelled musty. Carpet was dirty and stained. After pulling back bedding on both beds, sheets were disgusting!!! All kinds of hairs and really worn sheets. Gross!

Plenty of parking… Lobby was clean… Staff was very helpful.
The room was updated, clean. bed was nice. TV was nice. Shower was clean. Hot water and good water pressure.
They even gave us free passes for the bowling alley.
We finished up with a breakfast. Not fancy, but worked out perfect for us…

The room is clean and neat location was ok but there is no view.
Housekeeping: The first day after check in. We got new soap, shampoo, etc. and the room looked like how we got there except with our stuff. The second day we didn’t get the soap, shampoo etc. but the room looked a bit neater than the first day.
Breakfast: The food was okay (a bit too salty and the eggs were over oiled.) but there is no waffle maker.

Even though I have given this place 3 stars, it’s really more like a 3 ½ stars rating. I would recommend this place to others and will more than likely book a room here again the next time I visit Crater Lake.

— There were white stains on the sheet that lays on the foot of the bed.
— Booked a Suite w/​a hot tub but the room was small for a suite. I guess, hence the name Microtel
— The hair dryer blew only cold air
— The bed shook uncontrollably! SO ANNOYING! every time my BF or I made one tiny move in our sleep, the entire bed would shake. IDK what was up with it.

We found a deal for this hotel on Expedia — $ 68 per night for a room with a queen bed. Woot!
Everyone at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Not sure if this is a permanent thing, but you get free passes to the bowling alley across the lot, which is pretty cool! There’s some sort of deal for their food, too. The passes cover shoe rental and one game. After that it’s about $ 6.50 per game.
The room was, well, micro! But very pleasant and well laid out.
The hotel’s breakfast is really decent, too.

Nice, quiet, clean hotel. Good breakfast with lots of variety. Front desk personnel very friendly and helpful. All staff was friendly but the women who were there for arrival and departure were above average. Tina checked us out and a young blonde woman checked us in. Hotel was very secure and it was an enjoyable stay. I will definitely refer.

After driving 8 ½ hours I really wanted to check in and relax. When I arrived, there were two women at the front: an older woman and a young lady. Neither of them greeted me as I walked up to the counter and in fact if it weren’t for me saying,“hello!”, I’m pretty sure they wouldn’t have said much. They both looked like they hated heir jobs and neither of them smiled the entire time I was being checked in. I let the young lady know that I had a service animal where she informed me that there was a $ 35 fee. I let her know that legally, she could not charge for a service animal. She looked confused, asked her manager if that was the case and sure enough, I was right. She looked super annoyed that she couldnt charge me a pet fee. A minute later she asked, «why do you have a service animal?». It was as if she was expecting me to be in a wheelchair or something! people have service for more reasons than being disabled! I responded with, «you are not allowed to ask anyone that by law» and I smiled at her. I did say this is a nice way but again she looked irritated and said, «oh, I wasn’t trained on that. «When the young lady was done checking me in she said,“your rooms down there» and pointed down the hall. I expected much better service than this because I booked this room based on reviews. Very disappointing.
When I entered my room the presentation was gorgeous but then I started to notice that there were women’s hairs (or possibly a mans, depending on how long he likes his hair!) on the bed, seriously gross! Do they not change the blankets? Hmmmm…
The only reason I gave this hotel two stars is because when I called to make the reservation, the gentlemen on the phone was extremely helpful, very nice and accommodating. But other than that, the service sucked, hard core!
I think I would’ve rather stayed anywhere but here.

Great service and staff. Clean. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Manager came back to work late at night to pick us up from the train station. We’ll stay here again. Highly recommended.

Awesome stay! The gal at the desk, Ashley, was super helpful. We were travelling with the pooch and she was welcome at Microtel. The room was very nice. Had a european feel to it. Fridge, microwave, sitting area and HOT water. Breakfast was free and above standard. Hard boiled eggs, cereal, muffins, biscuits, scrambled eggs and sausages, oatmeal, yogurt and of course coffee! Filled up well before our adventure of the day.
Something everyone should know: there is a military airfield near by. Around 8AM 2 squadrons (?) of fighter jets took off and it was VERY LOUD. We were already up and heading out the door so I wasn’t bothered. Actually, I was in awe watching the US military in all it’s glory. However, if I had still been sleeping, it would have scared the begeezus out of me.

I still would consider this to be a decent hotel… the staff is extremely helpful and friendly… and the rooms are well laid out and efficient. I still have to gripe about the noise. I have heard the people next to me cough, blow their nose and phone conversations very clearly. You have to be lucky and have very quiet neighbors.
