The pharmacy tech that helped me was super friendly and efficient, despite having many customers. The location looks fairly new and has lots of parking — beware there’s a lot of traffic in and out of here with all the businesses in the plaza. Drive thru had 5+ cars so I opted to go inside.

This Pharmacy rocks! So helpful and friendly! Especially Pam. I can’t say enough about her and the rest of the staff!

The photocenter here is a bit of a joke. No one is ever behind the counter and it took me over 20 minutes of waiting for someone for them to come help me. I would go anywhere besides here

Always great service in the pharmacy and have everything organized and easy to find unlike Rite Aid who scatters their inventory all over the store.

Good pharmacists and assistants. Friendly employees. Usually good selection of true pharmacy related items. Many 24 hr stores if you are sick or somehow in need.

The Juanita Village location isn’t horrible and the shelves seem to be stocked fairly well most of the time. I don’t like that their liquor selection kind of blows… I couldn’t find Frangelico (hazelnut liqueur that tastes AMAZING in hot chocolate), or any true top-​shelf vodka (Chopin, Pravda, Belvedere, — Grey Goose sucks. Sorry, not sorry). However, there were enough different types of whiskey and bourbon to make a country boy swoon! It was clear that whomever orders the booze for this location, looooooooves his/​her whisky!
I also found it strange that, in the middle of winter, they had very few hot cocoa selections! There were more cocoa gift packages (you know, the boxes of cocoa that come with all kinds of crap you don’t really want — like shirts, one super ugly cup, and a cross-​eyed stuffed animal) than there were boxes of cocoa. I found one box of Swiss Miss, shoved to the back of the bottom shelf!
As for your daily needs, this is a convenient location for emergency eggs, sugar, milk, meds, or TP needs. You just might not be able to be choosey about the brand. At least they have Charmin!
Somebody somehow screwed up my rewards card and put my mom’s name with my phone number… not sure how they managed that one! The fresh-​out-​of-​high-​school cashier wasn’t going to let me use my own card! Even though I showed him my phone, proving it was my phone number! I had to do a major SMH on that one. Your mistake = my problem?
Although nobody has ever gone out of their way to assist me, the cashiers have all been very pleasant; even the young «rewards Nazi» guy… Some are much quicker than others, but they all seem perfectly nice.
Points off for lack of liquor/​liqueur selection and a primitive and inaccurate rewards membership processing process :)

I feel weird reviewing large corporate stores since there is usually an existing standard for them, and this Walgreens isn’t much different. It’s kind of like, «yeah, it’s a Walgreens.»
I had to get a prescription filled here and the customer service at the pharmacy was pretty good to start with. They were friendly and took my details promptly. I had about 15 minutes to browse the store while it was getting filled.
The thing with the store is that is has a really random collection of everything. There are your standard drugstore related things like band aids and tampons, but there is also a reasonably large grocery section (with beer!), office supplies (more than some other places!) and their seasonal aisle is fun. The clearance corner in the back is really neat and you can find lots of nifty little things to impulse buy.
The pharmacy is a bit slow overall but I will deal with it since it is my local. There is plenty of parking around as well.

I don’t shop at places like this too often. I needed some poster board and other random items that Walgreens carries. There’s plenty of parking and is convenient to where I live. This store has some really friendly staff with effective customer service skills.

I love the staff at the Juanita Walgreens! I have mostly interacted with the pharmacy department, but have been equally impressed by the store cashiers as well.
I don’t know the pharmacist’s first name (I think it’s Dinh), but she is amazing! She is a younger woman who is always so kind and helpful. The pharmacy staff makes it a point to fill your prescriptions quickly and to also ensure that you do not have any questions. I can’t say this is true for all Walgreens, and the Juanita Bay store is above the rest with their level of customer service.
Dinh (if that is her name) is an incredible pharmacist and Walgreens is lucky to have her. I mostly wrote this review because of the excellent service I have received time and time again from her. Thanks for being so great Dinh!

I love drugstores. They have the most random merchandise. I love to peruse the aisles. I’ve got the best fleece-​lined leggings at Walgreens (not this particular site) and some other odd finds.
I came here today specifically for gummy vitamins. They have the best selections of gummy vitamins. They had a sale going on, you know, buy one get one half off. I didn’t get the half off product, but if you need to stock up…
Friendly staff. Clean, organized store. Decent amount of parking out front. Now that I’ve moved this is the closest drugstore, so I’ll be here more :)

I went in last week because I thought I might be coming down with the flu and needed to stock up on meds. One of the pharmacists, Dinh, took the time to give me her advice on what would work best for me. After finding out it was strep, I was back in a few days later to pick up some antibiotics and Dinh took my prescription and had it filled in less than 5 minutes. She was so warm and kind and you can tell she loves her job. I normally don’t get my prescriptions filled here, but will do so from now on because of the above and beyond service.
Also, to the girl with the glasses (Caitlin perhaps?), you always have such positive energy and Walgreens is lucky to have you as an employee.

Went to the photo department in a rush to copy some pictures for a last min fathers day gift. The guy basically did it for me and even offers to cut and help me tape the pictures in the frame. I was really grateful for the excellent customer service.

I get my prescriptions refilled here. I’ve been using this Walgreens for about 4 years now. There’s been some improvements in the quality of the service. In the past, you could wait forever to be acknowledged in the drive thru but now it’s faster. There is a guy that works in the pharmacy, I think I remember his name as Todd, but he gives amazing customer service. He goes out of his way for me. He’s had the unfortunate event of helping me with my meds when I was sick with bronchitis and grumpy but he handled that well (I wasn’t nasty I was just grumpy). Prior to him, I’ve had slightly passable service.
This Walgreens has problems communicating with my doc. There have been two instances where they needed to get into contact with my doctor’s office and Walgreens folks say they’ve faxed my doc a request (one was actually because two of my meds could cause a conflict and they wanted to know if the doc was aware and do they really want me taking both… even though I’ve been taking both for over a year). My doc has said she doesn’t get the requests. In the past, my doc has been efficient and reliable and so I can believe she’s telling the truth. In both of those instances, I’ve had to call my doc and ask them to call Walgreens because of the communication issue.
Walgreens as a company is fine. You can refill your prescriptions online. I wish the online prescription system was smarter because it’ll suggest that I do mail order but then my insurance doesn’t accept mail order so it causes the system to freak out and I called and days later my prescription isn’t ready. It’s annoying. The store has issues with proper labeling on the merchandising end (not on the safety end as far as I can see). For instance, yesterday I went to buy isopropyl alcohol and there were two different sizes of bottles. One was 12 oz and the other 32 but the 32 was less than the 12. I reviewed and saw hat the 12 was mislabeled as a different kind of isopropyl at the 32 oz size. There have been issues with mislabeling the pricing in the past as well. It seems there are some lazy associates and management isn’t checking into these things.
All in all, this Walgreens is just ok. I might have given it a 2 but Todd really upgraded my impression.

I might be spoiled. Tainted by choices. I can’t get too excited about this Walgreen’s.
It is on the smaller side compared to other Walgreen’s I’ve been to and other choices (Bartell’s, Rite-​Aid) nearby.
Their bread-​and-​butter is clearly the pharmacy and beauty products, as those two things make up nearly half of the store.
Though their selection isn’t great, they do have a little bit of everything else. Office supplies, pet stuffs, household needs, greeting cards, small gifts and the like.
This seems to effect pricing. Though their sales can be great, on the whole, they are more expensive than other places for other items, but it may not seem like it.
Where a larger store or a Target like place has 1w of everything, Walgreen’s has 5 of it, so looking for anything specific can be a crap shoot.
The pet products we use (bunneh and kitteh) are the dame dollar amount here as they are at Rite-​Aid or local grocery stores… BUT they are smaller packages here.
They are conveniently located, and one of the only type of stores like this that service this immediate Juanita Village area, so I’ll likely continue to drop in now and again, –impulse buys and sale items will keep me around–
but if you’ve got the penny-​pincher bug or are savings-​saavy — you are mostly better off trying your luck elsewhere

Conveniently located within walking distance from the Junita Village area and also it’s like a mini Walmart. It has pretty much everything you need to get through the day except the only downer is that they’re not open 24hrs. The workers are always friendly and helpful not to mention that they always have deals on something… you just have to look for them.

I don’t come here too often as Bartells is 2 blocks from my house on the top of the hill. It gets 4 stars because it is so much better than the Rite Aid up the street and you can actually find a staff person here and they are helpful and know the store and products.

Itsa Walgreens. Its got all the usual stuff. It is predictable. Do I really need to say more?

It’s my twice-​a-​week habit that has no bad side affects!
Middle of baking brownies, reach in fridge… Outta Eggs. UGH! A quick stop off at Walgreens and brownies are in the oven STAT!
Last minute baby shower present+ cute gift bag= easy!
Razors, band-​aids, Emergen-​C, aluminum foil, cotton balls, frosting… done and done.
Katie @ the Beauty counter is a sweetie #1– helps me pick the best lip gloss or eyelashes or body lotions. Points out whats on sale so I won’t miss a good deal.

Walgreens random seasonal items are cheap and fun too!
This location has a decent wine selection.

The best. Seriously.
I have lived in many cities around the country and this truly feels like «home.» I have been coming to this store for five-​years solely. Quick, knowledgable attention with the cashiers, photo and pharmacists prompt my returns.
I tried the Walgreen’s off 85^th and they were so rude and inefficient. Was shocking, but definitely didn’t have the same «community» feeling that Juanita’s does.

RE: Pharmacy
They seem to be very disorganized. I’m going to have to find a new place to fill my prescriptions.
I dropped off 2 prescriptions. Yes, it was written on 1 piece of paper. However, the doctor cleared labeled them 1 of 2 and 2 of 2 with a line separating them.
When I came back to pick them up, there was only 1.
When I asked where the other was, the Pharmacy clerk told me that there was no 2^nd to pick up. Then she told me that they had a question for the doctor.
I asked what the question was since I knew it wasn’t anything to hold it up. Then here’s the «eye opener». The Pharmacist pulls the actual paper and goes «OOOPS, I’ll fill it next.»
No apology but I clearly heard it was their mistake. Poor customer service.
My neighbor has had a similar experience over a year ago where they claim to have never received his 2^nd prescription although his doctor faxed them together into Walgreen’s electronic fax system.
Lesson learned — fill 1 prescription initially at a time if you wish to use this location.
