Chelsea at Juanita Village

Love living at Chelsea! Amber, Jessica and Donovan are wonderful and very hospitable. Great community!

I spent the past two years at Chelsea and I have to say it was nothing short of an incredible experience!
From the amazing staff to the just plain beautiful corner apartment I was renting. Jessica always stood out as a real professional and dependable. Amber has recently taken over the reigns of the complex and has just brought the living situation to a new level!
I will miss everyone there very dearly and have already gone back many times to visit, their culture is incredible. They throw a great complex party as well!

For those of you looking for a place that’s in a great location, has great staff, and loves their residents, look no further than Chelsea. The manager and her staff have made Chelsea an awesome place to live. While it may not be the newest complex in Juanita Village or have a workout center that puts you (along with your sweaty body) on display for the whole neighborhood and the visiting public to see, it’s the people here that make it great. They have resident appreciation events every month, the maintenance team has handled any of my requests quickly and effectively, and they have gone out of their way to make it feel like home. So if you are looking for a place where service still counts, check out Chelsea.

We’d decided that we’ll not be able to move in to this building after the last most unpleasant visit we had to take last measurment the property.
This is one of thees times when your decision renting or not, depends on the Leasing office team…
While the first tour was amazingly friendly, professional and made us fall in love with this place,
The visit today and the «pleasure» to get know the manager of the property brought us to the understanding that we’ll never bring our business to a place managed buy such unprofessional, so unwelcoming and rude manager… after all– this is your home and you’ll have to deal with such person with any question or request you might have.
There for we decided to let go to our application.
She made an appointment for us for 5:30, when we arrived we were lectured that it“s to late to make the full building tour. Then when we asked if the’ll refund our application fee in case they will not be able to prepare the apt for the move in date we applied for — she was more then rude and even did not let us finish the sentence saying «no».
Thew the dates eventually works for us and the property is in a great location and seems to be very nicely maintained, we decided it would be to risky to move here with such customer service.

We received a phone call a day later from the property manager who was kind enough to take time, read our review and email and kindly apologized and refunded the application fee as an act of good will.
I hope our unfortunate experience was the one and only misunderstanding and others will find their happy homes here.

I just signed a contract on a two-​bed/​two-​bath at Chelsea, and I couldn’t be more pleased by the building and the wonderful staff.
The apartment and the location are both amazing. My understanding based on a conversation with staff is that apartments rarely come available, because most folks choose to stay once their initial lease has expired.
The Maintenance Manager (Steven) even walked me through the apartment to make sure I was satisfied with everything and to show me all the breaker switches.
Great place, great location, great staff. Thrilled with my decision to stay here.

— Great maintenance and leasing staff. They took time to answer lots of questions and and walked me through the apartment.

— Garage parking for only 40 bucks
— Garbage and recyclables are picked up at your front door
— Very inexpensive for what you are getting. I compared the amenities to other apartments in the area and felt Chelsea was a great deal.

Overall this has been fantastic place to live and a great value in comparison to properties in the area.

I’ve lived here for 3 years and love it. The new management is great. Always saying hi, giving my puppy belly rubs, and answering requests. The location is great! You can walk to the beach, farmers makers, yoga, and restaurants. I can’t hear my neighbors, but you can hear the street noise. If you have a dog, they’ll love it here.

Secured parking garage is not secured. My car along with a few other cars were broken into and everything was stolen. The apartment failed to put up signs or notify residents of recent car prowlings.
The surveillance cameras are a joke. For a place that charges a lot for secured access garage I’m sure they could have spent a few bucks on paper to notify residents.
The hallways smell like garbage– they now have valet garbage service (waste of money) and garbage cans that are too big to fit under the sink! Lol!

We have lived here for the past year and experienced the old management as well as the new management. I have to say that we have been very happy with both teams and love everything about living here.
Anita and Rocky in the office always have huge smiles for the residents and will bend over backwards to make sure we’re happy and taken care of. Our apartment is a two bedroom on the 5^th floor and when the windows are closed it is as quiet as a tomb, I love that. Unfortunately, we are on the west side and there is now construction across the street that you can hear when the windows are open during the day. Aside from the construction noise during business hours, our apartment and the entire building feels like new and is very well taken care of.
If you’re looking for a classy building that has warm but nicely private neighbors and a great management team, this is the place. Our only negative is that we have to move due to relocation of work :-(The Juanita Village can’t be beat for amenities and the management team of Anita, Rocky and the mascot Bandit the dog are icing on the cake.

You’d think for the price you’d be getting a great experience. Not so much.
I agree– Richard was great! And the manager was great at returning emails promptly. One of the leasing consultants was so rude over the course of several interactions. When I hesitated about what lease to sign, she made me feel like I was locked in even though I hadn’t signed the lease yet.
No pool– that’s a bummer. But oh well.
I got a noise complaint for my ceiling fan in my bathroom from my downstairs neighbor! Frustrating to say the least and is an ongoing issue.
The parking spots are really tight.
If I was paying cheaper rent, I’d say it was great!
But not worth the price…

Lived in a studio on the 5^th floor overlooking a noisy courtyard for 2 years. Only left to get a bigger apartment (no way I could afford the one bedrooms here) with the fiancé.
I had my occasional irritating run-​in with the staff, but overall they were average. Very sad when Ellie (manager for the first year) left, hiring went downhill after that. The staff as a whole never went beyond the VERY minimum of what was required of them. No customer services skills to be offered here, just free cookies.
The apartment unit I was in was RIGHT next to the elevator. I never heard a peep. Probably the quietest apartment unit I have ever lived in, despite what I have read in other reviews on other sites. It was usually refreshing to hear a neighbor in the hallway because that was the only way I knew I had them. It was hard to even make «elevator conversation» with the Chelsea residents. I don’t know what the deal was…
So, as for the noisy courtyard part — that would be thanks to the biker bar across the street, Bishops. Holy shit, son. We know you have a big, shiny motorcycle and we know it has an engine. We don’t need you to rev it for TEN MINUTES every time you start it up. Aye ye ye.
All in all, I would have stayed a third year at Chelsea if it had worked out. Location was really fun too — Juanita Village is convenient and it was nice to walk down to the park.

Totally agree with the last post. I didn’t enjoy my experience here at all.
