Holy crap I love this starbucks. Almost always empty in the late afternoon, 20 min parking spot in front, outdoor seating out the door. People are super sweet inside. Bathrooms are big and clean. Wow this is definitely a nice and laid back starbucks, compared to the others around the area(the ones on Redmond Way). Probably if I wanted to get out of the house and read with someplace quiet, this would be it. The music isn’t even that loud.

I got fabulous service here the other day. They’re usually their typical awesome, but a ponytailed barista went above and beyond for me. I feel like a barista position can be very drone like– take orders, take money, next person. This guy was animated and nice to talk to. He hooked me up with a holiday«buy 5 get one free» booklet for holiday drinks, which I didn’t even know existed. Then when I ordered a hot cocoa for the girl I nannied and asked him to leave room so she doesn’t spill in my car ;) he just charged me for a kids cocoa and put it in a tall cup. Thoughtful! Love this place. I’m here often killing time and it’s always nice and fairly quiet.

I personally have always found that it is the people that make a business what it is. This is my favorite Starbucks on the Eastside. Nice people.

this is prob one of the best sbux locations in the area. It’s large, plenty of seating and now over-run with retail getting in the way of customer lines or seating. I’ve noticed that this time of the year(Holidays) Sbux has a ton of retail crowding the customer line up. Not this one. it’s large, organized and clean. Drinks are excellent and staff is very friendly.

I love this Starbucks, I really do. I’ve spent more time and money in here than i reasonably should, but it’s a convenient place for me. Here’s my beef — every month throughout the year I order 2 coffee travelers for a meeting at 7pm. Only 3 times has it been ready at pickup time, despite the fact that they write it down, take phone numbers/names etc. I complained to their manager last year, he was very nice and apologetic. Order 2 travelers yesterday for pickup at 6pm and yet again they were not ready and I sat contemplating the world for 20 minutes whilst they made them. Again, most apologetic but come on, there must be a better system than writing the order on a scrap of paper. Oh, and to the snarky barista who was most put out when I asked for extra cups — you’re on my bad list too ;) My advice? Go hang out there in the mornings, the crew is amazing!

This ‘buck is better than average. The team is fast, the drinks are good and the best part is this store is never too busy.

Definitely my favourite neighbourhood Starbucks — friendly and attentive staff, yummy drinks, lots of seating, upgraded décor(it’s more urban/sleek now) and lots of parking. If you come in semi-regularly(like we do), the staff memorizes your drinks and they make them so quickly that your coffees are ready once you’re done paying. Pro tip: Kate and Anica make a mean soy hazelnut latte!

Out of all the starbucks that I have been to this is the most consistent. This is a place I come to to have some my time. The service is always wonderful and there is something just so soothing about this place! I love it! Also, I have been coming here for about 6 years now and I still come to this location even if it’s out of my way; I think that says something ;). They moved their chairs around a little so it seems a little harder to find a seat but I like it, I’m still happy! :)

What a huge disappointment! My girlfriend and I had been looking forward to getting a great iced coffee all morning. Just how does someone go wrong with Starbucks right? Well, this place can! We even asked them to re-do our drinks but they were still really bad. The balance of espresso with syrup and dairy was SO off that we couldn’t even choke them down. The girl who took our order at the counter was very bubbly and friendly, the only positive out of the whole experience. Sorry Starbucks :(

This is the nearest Starbucks to my sister’s place and it’s one of a few Starbucks locations at which I actually enjoy hanging out for a bit. Sure, there are the predictable accoutrement that define every Starbucks. But what sets this store apart in my view is the staff. They are perhaps the friendliest(without being creepy) bunch that I’ve experienced in a while. They have baristas who really take the time to get to know their clients. The elder gentleman behind the counter, for instance, seems to know every single person who comes into the joint. He talks up the customers, seeming to be genuinely interested in them. Heck, he could probably run for office in this county and win by a landslide. I swear, if he could, he’d come around the counter and hug each customer.(That’s probably when it would get creepy…) Perhaps it has a lot to do with the community in which its situated. This morning, I actually witnessed a customer walk up to a barista whom she didn’t know, introduce herself and welcomed her to ‘the crew’. «You’ll love it here,» the customer said to the barista, who was apparently new to this location, «Lots of fun, friendly people.» And the service is quite fast too. I’ve been here multiple times, with varying customer volume levels, and have never had to wait long at all for my beverage. Bottom line is that, for a company that values and promotes cookie cutterism, it’s refreshing to find a location that goes beyond the mould.
