My wife and I love this place! She couldn’t walk right after a weekend with some of their toys :) It really spiced up our love life.

Very helpful staff! Answered all my questions about the latest and greatest stuff I’m a very thorough manner.

The lady who helped me was awesome!!! I love coming to this one because of the service and the selection. They are clean, nice and you don’t feel awkward going in there! The best one to go to.

I had a great experience at this store today. The sales associate was knowledgeable and friendly and helped me select products that I am happier with than the ones I would have chosen for myself. There is a great selection here & I was quite impressed with the lingerie (more classy & cute than several other stores I’ve been to, including a different Lovers store, Victoria’s & even a couple French boutiques!). I’ve been searching for awhile to find what I bought here. Thank you!

lovers is definitely a little gaudy, but the staff was very helpful and knowledgable.

My hubby & I have been shopping here for more than 5 years now. Two words; clean and professional.
Going to establishments such as Lovers it can be awkward. The employees here are professional, tend to approach you pretty quickly, make sure you are doing ok, provide help or education if necessary and know when to leave you be. The two ladies working this last Sunday afternoon are fabulous, some peoples energy is friendlier/​more welcoming than others & these two ladies are awesome. I’ve had great experiences with them a few times now. I’ve never had a bad experience here and thankfully I think they try to employee pretty good people, which is important if they want to keep attracting all types of people.
Products: they carry a variety of nice stuff. I’ve only had one awful experience with a product from here; Manufactured by: California Exotics– it was awful because we couldn’t get the product to work. We went to lovers 3 or 4 times, in the same evening, exchanging for a new one each time. We’d watch the employee plug the product in to make sure it would charge and we’d get home and it wouldn’t charge. On the 3^rd or 4^th time we went with a LELO product, which we’ve used and been happy with LELO previously and are happy with our newer product as well. For us now when we are in doubt, we’ll go with LELO.
Lingerie: this is somewhat hit or miss for me here. I’m not docking a star for it cause if I can usually find something I like. I have a large bust, but not necessarily a large body. Most things that fit my cup size are too big around to actually be tight to my chest. Sometimes I’m a medium, sometimes a large, and sometimes whatever it is just doesn’t work out. Over all sizes are s/​m/​l or one size fits all (which I love the coquettes and baby doll style stuff in general). I’d say definitely try stuff on first! They do have clean fitting rooms.
We are happy shopping here and we will definitely be back.

Shopping at this type of store can be awkward or induce nervousness. But I’ve never felt so comfortable! The gals here are polite, classy, kind, and very helpful. I felt very lost in this environment but they were quick to approach me and help me find what I was looking for. Great staff, great selection, VERY CLEAN, great experience.

I visited this store a while back and neglected to write of my experience here. I must correct this oversight!
Accessing the parking lot is odd, off of NE 85^th Street, as you have to make a sharp right, up a fairly steep incline (and backing up as you leave is even dicier, especially if there are cars parked in the lot behind you. It’s hard to describe, but if you’ve been here in this lot, you’d understand). That said, it’s totally worth it to navigate this wacky lot. This store is really cool!
Despite feeling like a total fish out of water here, I checked out the whole place. It’s large, clean and very welcoming (i.e., not intimidating). I didn’t recognize what 75% of the merchandise was (how embarrassing but true. Adult toys sure have come a long way in the past decade or two!), but the gal behind the counter was incredibly friendly and easy to talk to and accessible for any questions about… well, anything. It was as if we were talking about tires for your car or Christmas lights for your holiday decorations. Just matter-​of-​fact, no embarrassment whatsoever. And really, now, why should there be?
Half the store is devoted to lingerie, and the other half to toys and accessories and even shaving creams and massage oils.
This would be a great place to get bachelorette party favors or Valentines Day for your loved one.

Recently I came here to purchase a vibrator but unfortunately I will not be returning. I’ve always had great experiences here with the friendly and helpful staff until just recently. Being a fairly young, married woman I really don’t feel comfortable discussing my sex life with any man other than my husband. So when I was already being helped by a very nice female employee (who has helped me here in the past) I found it extremely uncomfortable when their newly hired male employee decided to tag along as she helped me find a vibrator. I was already being helped and the unwanted company was not appreciated at all. I left feeling uncomfortable and annoyed… it’s too bad that I won’t be returning because the lady that was helping me (before he decided to join in) was very pleasant and knew the products well.

Great customer service and great selection of everything adult. Perfect place to stop by for innapropriate aprty gifts. The prices are a little high, but that is pretty typical from an adult store.

First experience at Lovers, staff was rude and not helpful. When asked to sign up for their rewards card the staff member did not explain to me what went with signing up for this until i asked and when she explained it, she speed thru explaining and I left still not knowing what I had signed up for.
I feel going to a sex store the staff should be helpful and make the customers feel comfortable. I did not get neither one of those expectations. I will for now on go to another location or even Castles.

The staff here are very knowledgable: even if it means advising against a product you’ve picked out, after finding out a little about what you’re after… They’re very friendly and helpful, without infringing on your privacy. And they’re really great about helping you get whatever discounts apply, making the whole experience enjoyable. Recommended!

My first experience at Lovers.
The sales people are super nice, friendly, and knowledgeable. They didn’t have what we were looking for, but mentioned somewhere else that did. We ended up buying a few other things, and I found some more (expensive) items that I want to get in the future.
Super clean, and not creepy in the least. Made for people who are new to Adult stores. The lingerie is cheap, and pretty cheesy, but I would definitely come back here for other items. My shy boyfriend was really impressed too.
Can probably get most things cheaper online, but the knowledge of the staff, and getting to see/​feel the items means I would definitely be back.

Sometimes the staff can make or break a location, and the staff here is great! I came in looking for something «fun» for my husband and I, and ended up joking around with the person behind the counter, all while getting a great education.

The staff here knows their business! They are all so super friendly and they know err-​thing about err-​thing. Huge selection.

I can’t say enough good things about the staff at this store! My latest visit involved well over an hour of exploring the store and working with the sales girl (I feel so bad her name has slipped my mind right now!), who was more than happy to recommend items and open products up for us. We ended up with a basket full of goodies that we were excited to get home to, ha! There’s always a huge selection, and quite often there will be special sales or offers to check out. The staff is absolutely wonderful– it is something I experience at every Lover’s, but this location is the best. Thank you amazing sales girl, sorry your name has temporarily fallen out of my brain!

My friend and I went into Lovers a few weeks ago just looking for the necessities (;P) and I felt like it was a pleasant experience. The sales gal was informative, but not annoying, alerting us to some sales and such going on, but she left us a lone to shop as we please. When we did get up to the register, she let us know that if we got a few more pairs of stockings then they would all be cheaper.
This particular store holds informational classes and workshops, which I thought was pretty cool. It’s nice to be able to go into a store where talking about sex isn’t «bad» and is actually recommended.
While the Kirkland location is out of the way for me normally, I wouldn’t hesitate to make a trip out here again when looking for some of their wares.

Lovers is what Victorias Secret slightly older, more experienced sister is up to. They have fun toys, lingerie (sorta cheap looking, pass), lotions, hand cuffs, sex furniture, books, cock rings, just about anything you need to kick your relationship up a notch.
I won’t lie, I am mostly talk. I will say the most raunchy things to get reactions out of people. But when it comes down to it, I get a little nervous about these stores. We walked in and were warmly greeted. I dropped all my secret inhibitions and found about 15 things within 2mins that I wanted to buy. After an hour of shopping I had completed the perfect XXXmas stocking. I would list off what I got, but thats TMI, right? There really is no reason to feel nervous or shy about stopping by, once you make it past those glass doors with the alarm system– you’re good. I laughed about it to myself when I thought about who ever would be dumb enough to try to steal something from this place, imagine the alarm going off and being caught with a 17» dildo.
Lover’s isn’t geared towards creepy (and there IS creepy) bondage crazy sex (though they do dabble in it), it definitely felt more like fun, sexy stuff.
The downside is, I really did feel like the employees thought I had never seen or tried any of that stuff (psshhh try a indie Chicago sex shop– okay?) and they were going to take the credit for turning someone into some sort of temptress (or hooker)— soo not the case Lovers… I may look inexperienced (ok so how the hell was I suppose to know that wasn’t fake foreskin?!) but I have things on lock down in the bed room (or kitchen, game room, undercover cop car… bosses desk…). I want to feel sexually inspired not like I just completed a cheap crash course in «naughtiness». I believe to be a great employee at a sex store, it has to come natural to you. Not all the girls there have that natural swag.
The happy ending: My man forgot about the mistletoe and kept trying to lure me back to his stocking. Ladies: Next up– Valentines Day!

I have got to say that this is the easiest sex shop to walk into ever. I have been in a couple others where the workers are friendly and not creepy, but this shop really makes you feel comfortable discussing intimates it’s hard to bring up with your closest buddies. There is a blond girl I have seen in there a couple of times who is exceptionally friendly and well-​informed. She was feeling a little bit rushed and under pressure when I was there, because she was the only person working at the time, but she handled the situation with finesse and took the time to help everyone without making anyone feel like they were being ignored.
The previous time I was there, a gentleman informed me about glasswares, and I think this might have been Craig, not sure, but he was extremely approachable and really the only male I am not having «relations» with that I could feel comfortable discussing glass sex toys.
The staff appears to be very well informed and enthusiastic about their products. The store always looks clean and well merchandised. There is a decent selection of what you would expect to find at a store targeting the average sexually active person, in other words not too fetish-​y. I have never felt so comfortable walking into an «adult» shop by myself.
I will definitely be back. And by the way, I love the membership card thing. You save 10% for signing up (this might be all the time, not sure) and the first Tuesday of every month you get 20% off. Can’t beat that with a stick… well, you can if that’s what you’re into… just… the saying… anyhow, I really like this store!

Let me just say — the new location is 3 times bigger than the old one next door. Here are some whys:
1. super helpful staff
2. they will test any toy in the store with batteries before you buy it so that you know whether or not you will like it
AND — most importantly for any «greenies» aka eco-​friendly people out there —
