Green E Juice

There are 5 girls working here making your juice or food and none of them are wearing a hair net. I told them that they should put their hair up because I don’t want hair in my juice, they said there isn’t any but I saw their hair going all over the fruit and vegetables. Disgusting.

Any typical green juice/​smoothie place. I got their avocado toast which had a slight spice due to the chili flakes, but was complimented by the beet hummus under the avocado spread. The toast is also gluten-​free, so it’s a wonderful option for those with gluten allergies.
I got a custom-​made smoothie which cost an extra 50 cents. I added Kale, banana, spinach, cucumber and apple. Not too sweet and not too bitter. No complaints there. It tastes exactly like the green smoothies that I make at home, but on lazy days like today, it’s definitely great to stop by this place to get my fix.
The girl by the register was helpful with my order, but I would say the other girls behind the counter weren’t very warm. We would exchange several glances but there wasn’t a «Hi» or «How are you doing?» I think that should be pretty standard? Customer service could be worked on, so I knocked off two stars due to that, but everything else was pleasant.

I love their avocado toast. Their smoothies are ok. Not a fan of the other food on the menu. But I wouldn’t be back just for avocado toast since that is very easy to make at home. But if in the area, this is a good spot to go in you are in need of a healthy smoothie since there are not many options in this area for that.

Really pricey, food is good, place is clean, customer service is good but employees look a lil too unenthused

Chia pudding and smoothies are great, if a bit pricey. But after three visits I’ve learned that you can’t count on the menu board to order — and get what you ordered. First trip there I ordered veggie soup — was told that’s been discontinued yet they didn’t take it off the board or black it out on the board. Today I ordered a scrambled egg sandwich. Menu said it came with spinach, carrot pulp, and cheddar. What I got was a fried egg, no spinach, no carrot pulp, and pepper jack cheese (which I hate) and some mystery pink sauce which was not mentioned on the menu. When I tried saying something to them about the fact that their menu doesn’t match what they gave me, the language barrier made it difficult and I got no apology or offer to rectify the situation. Frustrating. So my advice: stick to the smoothies.

This is my favorite juice bar on the Eastside. I found it when my husband and I were staying at the Heathman and wanted something virtuous before we headed out to dinner. We popped into Green E Juice and I fell in love with its clean and modern décor. I ordered a small green juice and was impressed to see the gal juice the greens with a masticating juicer and the apples and carrots in a centrifugal. It sounds fussy, but seriously, it makes all the difference with the end product of the juice. Plus, I kind of love that they seal the top of the juice with a sheet of plastic, bubble tea style. So nifty!
Since then, I frequently find excuses to run through downtown Kirkland to get a juice. Going to the cobbler in Totem Lake or yoga in Juanita? Time to get a juice! (You know, it’s only like 10 minutes out of the way…). I also dream of their avocado toast. At $ 6 it’s a little ridiculous for a piece of bread but that combo with the beet hummus and the avocado… it’s *almost* worth it.
Tip: If you buy a juice, ALWAYS get a large. The price is much better. Plus if you can’t finish it, I am sure you can convince your non-​healthy friend or family member for a sip and not be annoyed that they drank half of your juice :).

Friendly and thoughtful space.
The coconut chocolate bites are so good and good for you (made w dates) although a bit pricey at $ 5+ for four.
They do have small cups of fruit infused water available to the right of the cashier/​display.
Also it seems their avocado toast is really good and we saw several orders made in the 15 minutes we were here — will need to come back to try this and the juice (!) even though I know I can’t expect SF’s Frog Hollow version of the toast. :)

I have been to green e juice about 4 times now and absolutely love to come grab a super heathy super green juice after my workouts!
So many great flavor combos it’s hard to chose but you can also make your own up if all the veggies are too much for you.
I like the green machine add pear! I think it’s kale spinach cucumber celery lemon + pear
It’s perfectly sweet for me but can be too «green» for some. Try adding apple or beets if you need more sweetness. Have not tried the food yet but want to try the avocado sandwich it looks delicious.
Employees are very nice and helpful and I love the boba style lids! Has saved me from spilling out all that green gold!

I love this place! Ladies are always friendly, cucumber cooler juice is always on point & egg flower soup like crack. Never been disappointed, it is a bit expensive at $ 10 a juice but I will say this I used to go to another juice bar where it was $ 6 for the same size except they will the cup FULL of ice. So I don’t mind paying the extra $ 4 for a full glass and peace of mind knowing the fruits and veggies are in fact organic! Try the avocado toast (and add an egg) it’s delicious! My go-​to spot

I’m yet to try their smoothies but after grabbing a quick bite from that place I will definitely be back for more! The egg and cheddar warm sandwich was super delicious!!! The place is modern and very clean, the girls are friendly too!

Love the juices, i feel so full from the Beginner Green. It has Kiwi, Strawberry, Banana, Carrot, Spinach, Apple.
But I also enjoy the soups, especially the tomato bisque. It’s so thick with fixins :)

Great place for a quick and healthy breakfast. Big fan of their avocado sandwich. The egg sandwich is good as well.
Bit expensive though and the wait time could be improved.

I just paid an upward of $ 17 for two medium cups of room temp baby food that were already packaged in the fridge… Didn’t seem very fresh to me.

Does anybody else visit juice bars for the food?
I’ve tried 2 – 3 of their soups and have decided that the hot and sour is my favorite. The only issue I’ve had is with their soup ladle. I haven’t visited recently so they may have changed it, but at least a couple times I made a small mess (don’t worry, also cleaned it up) because the ladle was too big for the little to-​go soup cup.
I also really like their brown rice bowl (with kimchi, egg, and bean sprouts) because it’s filling and delicious.
I think I’ve gotten a juice/​smoothie here once or twice… when I wanted something green and easy to consume on-​the-​go… but usually prefer the food because I usually enjoy their food more and the drinks are kind-​of expensive.

This is the second time I have been to Green E Juice. The two smoothies I tried were indeed delicious. The scrambled egg toast was good. The green tea was good too. I dig the modem vibe, though the dance hall music that fills the small space is a bit overkill.
If I was to rate this place on food alone, I would easily give it 4 stars. The reason I am knocking a star is that the servers were extremely aloof and rude. My wife asked about the menu item called, «Scrambled Egg Toast», and was told they don’t do toast and that it was a sandwich on bread. While waiting, one of the large TVs on the wall behind the servers, advertised, «Scrambled Egg Toast» with a picture. The sandwich did end up coming on toast… Huh? I thanked them with a smile when picking up my order at the counter and the server turned around without a, «You’re welcome» or any other acknowledgement. All I can say is being friendly goes a long way.

Very clean modern vibe. Very pricey, but this is the case for most juice stores. I liked this one because it didn’t just have juice, but carried a whole menu for breakfast/​lunch. Ordered the basic green smoothie for the kids (large split). It was ok. I’ve definitely had tastier green smoothies before, but I could tell that it was really healthy. I was very happy that my four year old drank most of it before she decided it was too healthy for her (lol).
I could have ordered so many items off the menu for lunch (more like dinner). But I held myself back and took home the curry vegetable rice bowl. It was delicious!

I visited Green E Juice for the first time today after knowing about it for the last year. I ordered the large Super Green Smoothie without the orange. Super Green contains: Carrot, Banana, Apple, (Orange), Tomato, Spinach, Avocado, Celery, Cabbage. I kind of wanted it to come out really super green but it didn’t. It tasted sweeter than I would have thought with a name like Super Green. It came out more of a muddy orange color but it tasted great. I guess I’m used to my Vitamix and making super green concoctions in there. Anyway, the customer service was great and fast! I loved my juice and I thought the price for the size I got was more than generous. I think of my favorite gluten-​free vegan bakery nearby and their juices are smaller size for about the same price and I would much rather buy juice or smoothies from here. Regarding price, it is also much more reasonable here as compared to Thrive or Chaco Canyon in Seattle. As long as I don’t have to clean up the mess they can charge me $ 9 or $ 10 for a smoothie/​juice and I’m just fine with that! :-)

They drastically updated their store so I felt a new review was in order.
The Menu: instead of soup, premade salads and just pulpy juice, they’ve expanded to smoothies, juice, more food and a plethora of skincare and other inedible goods. I think the product fits with the typical Kirkland demographic.
Ambience: before it was a very «cold» store and not one I could see myself sitting down for an extended period of time to enjoy their products. The chairs didn’t look comfy and it was very bare. But now that they are more established, they’ve added plush chairs, more relaxed lighting and I loved the wood wall accents. It definitely has more style and evokes a certain personality.
Price: this is where they lost a star. Before, I could order a medium pulpy juice for $ 6.75. I get that they have to stay in business, but their price for the smallest drink now is $ 8, a large $ 10. Yes, they only use the best ingredients and it’s freshly made right in front of your eyes, but you would think it might draw more people in if the drinks were slightly lower.
Fruit & Veg selections: most of these juices I could make at home. I would really like to see some other options like coconut water, mango, radishes, red chard… instead of the usual produce that most other places offer as well.
I STILL give them mad props for their Hot & Sour Soup though. It’s some of the best I’ve had in the Seattle area and I love the fact that I can take some from the refrigerator section and heat it up later at home.

I like fresh juices and smoothies, so I decided to check out this place because I was area.
I really do like the layout of the store and the fact that they make to order, such as if you want more or less of an ingredient in your juice. It did taste pretty fresh but it wasn’t anything super spectacular, I enjoyed it but I didn’t really think it was memorable.
It’s also surprisingly expensive. I ordered a medium juice and it was upwards of $ 8. What? Okay, so it’s organic and there’s some labor involved in operating the juicer but I’m really not sure that it is $ 8 worth. Their smoothies were relatively cheaper and maybe if I were to go back I would try one of those, but I’m not going to go out of my way to do so.

I’m kind of torn about this place, but in short, I enjoyed the juice.
Upon first looking at the menu, I was confused. I’m thinking juice bar, but their menu just says «smoothies.» I’m like, wait, is this a juice bar or a smoothie place. There was a vegetable smoothie that sounded really gross as a smoothie, but I guess if you juiced it, would be tolerable. I don’t know… I still wouldn’t want a smoothie with a tomato, but someone might? If you want the smoothie to be juice, it can be, but it’s just more expensive. OR you can create your own juice, which is what I did. And it’s awesome that you can customize and they have a large variety of ingredients.
It is a little pricey. My custom juice was a little over $ 9, but it is a decent size. I recently went to a juice bar on Captiol Hill and got a really really small juice for the same price. So sure, juices are pricey in general, but here you get a nice amount.
What was also interesting was that they used two different juicers for different veggies/​fruits, and also had a lemon juicer on the side. So instead of using one juicer and filling the cup up until it was full and then being done with it, she used three different containers to fill my cup, leaving lots of leftover juice to be, what, wasted? Unless someone ordered a juice in the future with those ingredients, it would be dumped? And if it was saved, it wouldn’t really be fresh. So… that was odd. Never seen a place use multiple juicers and then waste the leftovers.
It is a very nice, clean establishment. Staff is friendly.
