Visiting from San Jose, ca which is full of yogurt places at every corner. This place has topped all of them for me. Best thing is they even sell regular ice cream! Will be coming back next time I visit

I took my twins in there today. Jim was a very sweet and kind man. My boys talked his ear off and he was so patient and sweet with us. They kept asking him to remember them because they want to work there some day. I would recommend this to anyone who loves ice cream and frozen yogurt as you can have them both in one location. Or if you have kids and some want ice cream and some want yogurt. But mainly because Jim was such an awesome person!

My family LOVES this place! We live in the area so its an easy walk for great local Snoqualmie Ice Cream and a nice selection of frozen yogurt. My daughters can never decide where to go when we need a frozen treat because one likes Froyo and one Ice Cream, this place is the perfect compromise!

A froyo /ice cream place within walking distance! Froyo selection was a bit limited, but they have what I like. Didn’t try the ice cream. Toppings were fresh, and had a good selection. Place was clean /new. Workers looked bored, as they had nothing to do, but were friendly when we needed assistance.

Fans of Menchie’s will feel right at home and those seeking a more traditional approach to ice cream will leave happy too. Being a hybrid ice cream and frozen yogurt shop, you will find many flavors to choose from overall, but options feel slightly limited when you narrow down your choice of either self serve or a scoop of ice cream. On the frozen yogurt side, you have 10 flavors to choose from. The 5 fro yo stations allow you to mix or «swirl» two paired flavors together or get any combination separately. They have a good traditional selection of fro yo flavors ranging from fruity to chocolatey. I decided to go with Peanut Butter, Cookies and Cream, and Cheesecake with Oreo topping. I wasn’t disappointed! Fro yo is priced by the weight of the contents in your bowl, that being said, I’m not sure if my order was overpriced or not. My wife and I each got a pretty generous amount of fro yo and the total came out to be just over $ 9, which seemed about right. The topping station was well maintained and had all your standard toppings, ranging from crushed candy bar favorites to sour candies and sprinkles. On the ice cream side, there were 18 total flavors to choose from, made up of 14 Daily Flavors, and 4 Seasonal Flavors. You can order 1 – 3 scoops or get your favorite flavor in a mlkshake or a pint to go. Prices seemed to be consistent with that of your local ice cream chain, maybe slightly higher. They had interesting flavors like honey lavender, toasted coconut, and cherry amaretto chip that I really wanted to try. I’m a bit of an ice cream snob because I used to work at Baskin Robbins, but FY&M’s flavors seemed a little different and interesting to me. Next time I visit I’ll see if it can hold up to my slightly biased ice cream standards. The inside of the shop was nice, clean looking, and most importantly on a hot day, air conditioned. There were several places to sit inside and outside, I’d say enough to seat 20 ish people comfortably. Staff seemed friendly, no issues with customer service. A few customers didn’t seem to understand the self serve aspect of the business, so here’s a quick explanation. If you want fro yo, you pick up a bowl near the fro yo stations, use the levers to dispense the goods, then add the toppings that you like. The cashier will weigh what’s in your bowl and charge you based off of the weight of the contents. When the cashier was explaining this system to a customer, the customer thought she was being charged based on the weight of her kids, ha! One minor improvement that the FY&M owners should consider is to provide details on which flavors contain food allergens. Menchie’s clearly labels which of its flavors are dairy free, gluten free, etc. and I think FY&M could benefit from doing the same.
