Disappointing. Horrible customer service. I stood in line for five minutes listening to the teens behind the counter yakking with the customer in front of me when the order was obviously done. When I finally got my Peanut Buster Parfait it was waaaay over filled so, when I took the top off, it ran all over the table before I took a bite. I won’t be back.

We went to this Kirkland branch often in the past until the kids grew up and gone. So a friend from out of town came and we decided to go to DQ for a treat. It was still good, not sugary but soft and tasty, reminded us of the good old days…

Uh oh! I’ve discovered the MooLatte. I’m sure it’s nothing new, just new to me. I used to love granitas at QFC, but they disappeared. Then I loved them at Java Mama, but they got sold and the new owners got rid of the granita machines. I’m sure they were probably awful to try to clean out, but ooooh yummy, I loves me a granita. That famous coffeehouse frappuccino just can’t compete with a true granita. And well, neither does a DQ MooLatte, but it’s a darn good substitute. The Cappucino version could be stronger on the coffee, the Caramel version could stand more caramel. But still, a must have when you need a caffeine fix.

One thing I’ve noticed with Dairy Queen. They do not exist in downtown areas — only in suburbs. Thankfully, I’m finally living in the burbs as a parent. Now for the fast food portion of the review. We all know what DQ is so I’ll skip to the part that matters: This place is clean, safe, has good service, and a pretty fast drive through service. Time to get your blizzard on. GUAPPROVED!

Horrible customer service. The people who work here hate their job and their attitude ruins the whole Dairy Queen experience

Drove by this Dairy Queen and could see there were 6 – 7 cars in the drive through late on a week night. I just had to get a chocolate dipped cone on my way back a few minutes later. They have the winding line barrier here similar to what you would see at Wendy’s and the line went quickly. I ordered my come and was pleasantly surprised to learn that it was free one day! This location is tucked in the corner of a property and parking is a little tight but pretty convenient. The restaurant itself is fairly clean and the staff is pretty attentive. I’d return here the next time I’m in the area.

So our primary use of this DQ is for blizzards and frozen treats. Some of the family enjoy their chicken strips basket and fries but I find that I only like those when they are fresh from the fryer. If they have sat for any period of time under the heat lamps I think they lack the same crispness of the freshly fried batch. The chili dogs here are a total disappointment. The dogs and the chili are barely warm not to mention that it’s clear the quality of the dog is pretty low. I wish they’d use a decent dog — like the Hebrew National Quarter Pounder. I’d gladly pay more to get a dog like that. The drive through is not well planned. I hate taking a truck through it as there is a tight turn and often the line gets backed up so that you can’t just completely get around the corner. Also, if there is any sort of line at the drive thru there is a challenge as folks are trying to enter the driveway to get to Safeway. Overall, though, for the occasional blizzard, cone, or sundae/parfait, we find it worth putting up with the drive through and limited parking.

This dairy queen does a great job. Food is always fast, consistent and pretty good! My boyfriend went there to get us blizzards and when he walked in the door he looked defeated.“they had two double cheeseburgers for four bucks and I couldnt say no!!” Lol. oh dairy queen. she strikes again.

My husband and I had a little ice cream date last night. We were driving by on the motorcycle and were debating on whether we should go to McDonald’s or DQ. My husband decided on DQ because they have chocolate ice cream. DQ it is! My husband ordered a chocolate-dipped chocolate ice cream in a cone. I was leaning toward the flavor of the month(s’mores!) blizzard, but ended up getting the same thing as the hubby. It was a simple treat, but delicious. And MUCH bigger than the McD’s ice cream cones for sure. Delightful :) We walked around the shopping complex while we ate, so I can’t really comment on the restaurant. The service was great — quick and efficient. Workers were friendly. I think we will be coming back every now and again for treats :) Best place for ice cream dinner dates!

This DQ is the best! I’ve been to a few other Dairy Queen locations and this one surpasses them all. Their fries are always hot and fresh, the service is AWESOME and the décor, etc, is so nice. This is the most comfortable, cleanest fast food place I’ve been to. Also, when you order a Blizzard, they make it super quickly, and they fill the cup all the way. I’ve been to another place where you don’t get a full Blizzard. Lame-o. Anyway, this is my favorite DQ. Best Grill Burgers ever. :)

Have been there twice now thought I’ve only ordred desserts. The service is AMAZING and the drive through always seem so packed. Definitely recommend this out of all the other branches.

I go to this Dairy Queen at least once a month, sometimes more often. The food is consistently of the highest quality, with fresh crisp lettuce and juicy red tomatoes, never wilted, never brown. They are quick and friendly and never mess up out order. So tonight when we got home I was shocked to find that of our four orders, none were correct. Shocked, I called the store and talked to the manager. I explained what had happened and he called up our order. He took down the details of what was wrong and then offered to deliver the correct food right to our house! 5 minutes later he showed up with everything that was wrong or missing. Truly above and beyond service. This is why I love this place!

I like this location. It has fast service is in a good location. However, i give it a three star rating because my blizzard order kind of got messed up. People wonder how you can mess up ice cream, but they kind of did. It was a mint oreo blizzard and the top half was mint and the bottom was vanilla. Kind of disappointing. It was very interesting. It takes a lot to make me mad, but this was just a little mistake. If my order is made 100% right next time, it will get one more star

Living so close to DQ is dangerous. My blizzard addiction is something that doesn’t need any fuel. A problem with all DQ’s is the occasional soupy blizzard. I emailed and told the manager about recent blizzard disappointments and they replied ASAP to say they would address the problem with the staff. I don’t know if it was related but my next blizzard was back to snuff where you could hold the thing upside down and not get a drip. This location is always very fast and I’ve never had any other problems. Kudos for acknowledging and responding to quality control issues.

This without question is one of the best operated fast food restaurants I have ever encountered. The food is always fresh, flavorful with high quality taste. The prices are on par with any other Dairy Queen location and it appears that this Dairy Queen participates with nationwide promotions. The staff goes out of their way to make sure you have a great experience. The managers are always present and it is clear they work side by side with staff taking care of guests. The chicken strips here are of good portion size. Some DQ locations have small strips, if you ever do get a small strip here, they always give you an extra one and point it out to you, so you know you are getting the full value you paid for. This happened to me only once at this location, but the two smaller sized strips clearly made up for one normal size strip. This Dairy Queen is hands down five stars. It is also the perfect place to wait if you are having your car serviced at the 76 Juanita Firs station across the street, which is yet another hands down 5 Unilocal Stars business.

Had my first Blizzard ever here just yesterday(a Confetti Cake, which was«Blizzard of the Month» for May) — it was just alright. At least now I know. I think the two fro-yo places Cherry de Pon and Chilly Wave, both a mile south on 100th near the Juanita Walgreens, are both much better for your«cold treat in a cup» needs. :) At least the staff was really friendly, and the wait very short!

I drive an extra mile and a half out of my way to visit this Dairy Queen. Why you ask? Because their fries and onion rings are always fresh. When I go to other fast food restaurants, I have to ask them to make a fresh batch everytime. This DQ’s fries are always steaming hot and crispy… just how I like it. And don’t even get me started on their blizzards. Always full of toppings and they never skimp like the other places I’ve been to. Service is always consistently great here. I think I’m gonna go get a Blizzard right now actually… try the banana cream pie with extra pie chips… mmmmmmm!

Never a line like the parking lot adjacent McDonald’s Better food, and for a *very* rare fast food visit in our family, more varied and fun menu to choose from. Parking lot and drive-thru exit cramped and oddly angled to it’s surroundings, use caution, or your blizzard is going to end up in your lap. They also have a happy hour for lunch deals from 2 – 4. Only 3 stars because, upon inquiry, they had no Rainbows ONFIRE! or any old-fashioned shaving bunnies available.

Simply the best DQ out there. Awesome service, friendly staff, fresh fries, delicious blizzards!
