We have everything for every age from your little first time collector to someone that has been collecting there whole life. You will find something in our shop you have never seen before. Unique and rare specimens as well as the common ones. We also have in house jewelers that can custom make what ever your heart desires.

History

Established in 1988.

My dad started the business in march of 1988. He passed away in 2009 and I am his daughter Kim. My husband Todd and I are keeping on the family tradition and providing mother natures beauty for all to see and enjoy.

I love Rocks and Gems, my favorite stone is Mookaite Jasper. My second favorite is Carnelian and all the rest are tied for third. I also love beading and making things for the shop. We love going rockhounding all over the usa, and my dad went all over the world. Throughout the year we meet up with miners from all over the world and hand pick from what they have found to add a wide selection to our rock shop. You will love the selection and choices available.

This store is absolute wonderful, packed with so many things. They’ve got so many different kinds of stones and crystals, and the person working there was absolutely AMAZING and so helpful! It was my first time really shopping for stones and crystals, and this certainly was a wonderful experience with this store!

Shop is extremely small and located in a little cute shopping center area. When I first arrived I was greeted by a lady she seemed nice and all but as I kept walking around the shop I could feel her hovering over me and watching every move I made. I felt like she thought I was going to steal, which made me feel so unwelcome. At one point she even offered to hold on to my items at the register for me, in other stores I would’ve thought that was super nice but here I felt like she was just watching out for her own shop. I felt weird walking in there and I regret even purchasing anything here. I drove to Moore than rocks, where they had a better selection, huge shop, super cheap prices and awesome service.

This place is pure awesomeness… I used to collect minerals back when I was a kid and the national geographic stores still existed! So for me finding this is also a blow cause I’ve driven by so many times not knowing it was here, and more importantly a rush! Since finding this gem (literally) of a store. I came here with Justin F to see some stuff and let me just say that their are the coolest things here. I WILL return for that Megladon tooth and probably one of what looks like either a bull shark or great white tooth pendant. Their prices are a little steeper that what a chain store would charge but I don’t see any more rock chain stores anymore and the quality here is great! I couldn’t leave without buying something so I saw a slab of purple agate that I just had to have so I grabbed one for 1.50 $ what a solid deal for a beautiful piece. For people interested in minerals like myself for admiration or people who want the crystals for their positive energies this is the place to go!

Located behind the shops on one of the main streets in town, this store has so many beautiful gems and stones! I’ve actually never seen so many in one location. And from what I understand the owner knows where each one is from. (She wasn’t there the day I went in with my friend.)
A bonus is that the owner can string beads, making them into a beautiful necklace (and maybe earrings?). She only charges $ 10 and the cost of the snaplette thingy.
I will be going back for more gems!
Update: I had her string tiny turquoise beads I bought at an expo. She did a perfect job and took a lot of little things into consideration. She told me she keeps her Etsy and FB page up-​to-​date so check it out!

This shop is small but packed with stuff! Everything from $ 2.00 stones to things in the hundreds and even a few things in the thousands. I love the raw aura quartz and spirit quartz in the cases! Very helpful woman working there that was kind and helpful. I highly recommend this shop. Lots of unique things to choose from!

LOVE this rock shop! A true gem in Kirkland! They’ve been there for over 25 years so they have EVERYTHING I could possibly imagine! AND they ship worldwide so that saves me the hassle of going to post office to ship the gifts I sent to family, friends and clients! I also appreciate the sense of community I experience when I visit store. The people working and shopping there are always so kind and interesting that I walk away feeling connected to more. My 6 year old son loves the shop too! He gets jealous when I go without him ;)

From the time I discovered into this cute little shop in 2007, I knew there was something absolutely special about this place. Fast Forward to 2015, I try to go here at least 3 times a month, sometimes simply for the positive energy this place contains. Staff is knowledgeable and willing to help you find whatever crystal you need, even if you don’t know what to get they’ll recommend certain crystals, Kim is amazing. These crystals make great gifts, and you can tell when Kim gets new stock in, the shop feels so «Active» with energy. Also plan on spending at least more than an hour here, I’ve never really seen anyone come in for only a half hour, there’s so much to look at, plenty good conversation, and finding the crystal that’s right for you is an adventure in itself.

Definitely the best and most well-​stocked rock shop around; I’ve been coming here for years and never have I been to a store comparable in sheer volume and variety of rocks, gems, and related things. The owner knows her stuff, and the place is literally up to the ceiling with rocks and gems! I’ve gotten rings resized and modified through this store too, and it always comes back wonderful and in a very reasonable time frame. You can even get custom pieces done. Everything is fairly priced, and it’s quite easy to spend nearly your entire day (and paycheck!) there. Easily one of my favorite places in Kirkland.

I am really into crystals and rocks, I have been collecting for ten years and from experience the products are way overpriced, so much so that it is a disgusting rip off to people that are not informed, that will blindly pay triple for something they can get for far less. Go to a whole sale supplier and save your money and get crystals and rocks far larger. Its a decent selection. The bracelets and earrings are pretty, but I wasn’t impressed with the quality and purity of some of the stones. There were tiny pieces of amythest for 50 – 80 bucks. Typically I can find that for five dollars. I was shocked.

This store is a total gem (pun intended). I’ve visited gem stores all over Seattle, and this one has the largest selection and best prices I’ve seen yet. I’m amazed I didn’t find this sooner, but as Kim the owner told me, you find it when you need it! I’m so elated about my purchases, I can’t wait to go back and buy more.

I have been coming to this place for years. The owner, who is the daughter of the original owner, who sadly passed away, is carrying on the family business and doing a fantastic job. There is always an extreme assortment of gems and minerals that is mind boggling, and the people who work there are always super knowledgeable and not in the stuck up way but in a general love of the trade way that helps you find what you are looking for even if you don’t know exactly what that is. Prices are very reasonable, you can find something awesome and unique at a price that is low or high and even if you can’t afford the pricey version they have options that are just as beautiful and unique in your own range as well. All in all I stop in whenever I have a gift to think of for a friend or family member and even just to look around.

I love this store and it had been over a decade since I was in it. The customer service from Kim (Owner) and Bethany were phenomenal. I purchased a nice polished Carnelian necklace, a nice fiery egg-​shaped polished Carnelian, a polished blue agate, a star-​shaped polished snowflake obsidian, and some smoky quartz. Great experience and I will definitely be back in less time than a decade!

This store is amazing! I went here because a fabulous gem-​loving woman in my life said that this was the best rock store anywhere around– and she wasn’t kidding! The store isn’t huge, but the amount of product in the space is intense, it’s almost overwhelming! I absolutely love how well everything is labeled. Being very new to this, it’s a little intimidating to try and figure out what one stone is compared to another, but every section and every stone here is marked very clearly, and usually even with which particular region (and sometimes which exact mine) they all came from. The owner and her husband were fantastic while I visited; she was able to help me locate exactly what I needed, and knew so so much about every bit of material in there. Very impressive!
Prices are very reasonable as well– and there is an entire wall of beautiful chip strands at the best prices I have seen anywhere.
The website says that they do classes occasionally as well; I will be looking into that!

Hidden away in the lower parking lot by Kirkland’s downtown waterfront, this little shop is filled with incredible natural wonders.
If you’re a rock hound, all the better, but if you just happen to love gorgeous chunks & bits of raw and polished minerals that happen to be millions of years old, you’ve just discovered a veritable treasure trove.
Not only are there specimen pieces for a collection, but just plain stunning crystals, thunder agates, fossils, meteors, amber and jewelry crafted from any and all varieties of materials abound in this very small space. The choices vary and change regularly and may contain carved and polished stone dishes or bowls.
Looking for a unique gift? How often can you give something that dates from a time beyond measure?
The owner and staff are always knowledgeable and helpful identifying your find, and may even be able tell you how the piece came to exist. This can be a shopping adventure where you purchase something remarkable and quite affordable, as well as learning some fascinating natural history.
You’ll even be welcome to just browse, and believe me, its a great way to spend some time.
