History

Established in 2000.

Dave Caraway began his real estate career in 2000. His passion for helping and protecting his clients has been his driving force from that day on. He is always focused on connecting his clients with their dreams. Dave raised his children on the Plateau, coached Little League and has helped clients reach their dream of home ownership for 15 years. He can answer your questions about Seattle or the Greater Eastside with complete confidence.

Dave looks forward to the unique challenges that every client has with untiring enthusiasm. Dave grew up mainly in the Seattle area. But, having a Dad serving in the Army, he did spend time living in California, Georgia and Florida. Being raised as an Army brat had its advantages. You learn quickly to make friends and the diversity helped him learn about many cultures.

Dave raised his family in several areas of the Great Northwest. Ranging from Gig Harbor to Spokane, Seattle to Tacoma and finally in Sammamish. Dave coached his children’s teams in Soccer, Baseball and Basketball. Dave has a passion for all of Seattle’s sports teams including the Seahawks, Mariners and Seattle Sounders FC.

Dave has always had a passion for helping people reach their goals and dreams and has always enjoyed real estate. He truly loves what he does for a leaving. Which makes working as a Realtor very rewarding.

I was referred to Dave through a mutual friend and I couldn’t be happier that I took their advise. Dave was great to work with in every aspect of selling my home. He had a great knowledge of the market and threw research on top of it to make sure we listed my home at the right price to not only find a buyer, but to maximize value. Dave made sure we used his experience and expertise all while allowing me to have input and meet all my needs in the sale. Because I involved Dave very early in the process of selling my home, he was able to coach me on the right things to update and remodel. That really kept me from doing more and spending more than necessary.
In the end, we had an offer in just over a week and closed 2 weeks later. While selling that fast can’t be looked at as normal, it was all about presenting the home in it’s best light, setting the right price and finding the right buyer. Dave was a huge part of that and I would recommend him to anyone looking to buy or sell their home. You won’t regret that decision.

Over the years I have had a number of real estate transactions and Dave is the best! Whether I was buying or selling Dave was on top of it every step of the way. His professionalism, honesty, knowledge, and personality make it so easy to work with him. Dave lowered my stress level with his experience and quick responses. During my last move, the cable on my garage door snapped late on a Saturday afternoon and we were leaving early Monday morning for our new home destination a couple of hours away. I was exhausted and panicked about how I would be able to get it repaired in time. I reached out to Dave Caraway and within minutes had the information of a reputable repair company. Not only that, Dave went out and met with the repairman, so I could be on the road early with the moving trucks and he kept the repair costs at a minimum! Dave was such a huge help and I would strongly recommend him for any real estate transaction. He’s a good as it gets!

We recently bought our first house and Dave was BEYOND helpful every step of the way. We connected with Dave at a home buying class and instantly knew we wanted to work with him. He was very responsive to our emails/​calls and was always willing to meet with us (even on a Sunday!!)
We are first time home buyers so the whole process was overwhelming and confusing but Dave was there to help us every step of the way and never laughed at our sometimes «stupid» questions. He took the time to discuss what we wanted and needed in a house. He was very genuine and cared about us and our new home.
We met with Dave on a Sunday afternoon, sent him a list of the houses we wanted to look at Monday morning, met him at the properties Monday night after work and put in an offer on Tuesday! Once we put an offer in on the house, Dave suggested we write a letter to the sellers which definitely gave us an advantage. He gave us great advice for our counter offer and everything else was a breeze!
He even met with us onsite for our inspection and was extremely knowledgeable and helped reassure us that this house was in excellent condition and a good buy for us. His honesty and trustworthiness was more than we could’ve asked for and all of the advice he gave us was always in our best interest and we never felt pressure from Dave.
I was very hesitant and scared to begin this home buying process as I have heard so many horror stories but once we started working with Dave I felt so comfortable and would defiantly recommend Dave to anyone looking for a reliable, honest and hardworking agent. Everything went SO smoothly with Dave on our team.

Dave is beyond amazing! words really can’t describe what he did for us! After months of searching we had finally found our perfect home, too bad three other people did too! Dave recommended we take the time and write a letter to the sellers and thank goodness he did because that’s what made the buyers fall in love with us and choose us for their beautiful home! I couldn’t imagine having any other place to call home, and it’s all because of Dave! Not to mention the only day my fiancé and I could house hunt was sunday and Dave was more then willing! And we always had numerous houses to see due to it being our only day and he was such a team player. My fiancé really appreciated how Dave would take the time and explain different things about the houses and what to look for and stay clear of. I can’t say it enough, Dave Caraway is the BEST!!!

Dave Caraway is as fine an agent as we could ever have hoped to have found. He helped us buy a townhouse in Kirkland — and then sell it 10 years later. Dave is an extremely experienced and knowledgeable agent, and an excellent negotiator. But what he brings to the table is far more than just the best price for you. Here are two examples of what I mean:
When we purchased the townhouse, Dave was incredibly patient and attentive to our desires. We looked for 3+ months as my wife was very particular. At the time, Dave had other listings, including a million dollar home, as well as other buyers. But never once did he make us feel as though our hunt for a $ 250−300K townhouse was anything but the most important transaction he had ever handled.
And when we sold, Dave knew that the inspector really disliked it if pets were in the home while he was working, and that if there were he tended to be more critical. He not only recommended that our cat not be there, he came and got her prior to the inspection and took her for two hours in his car!
We cannot give a higher recommendation to anyone than Dave!
