Quality Inn & Suites

This place is a dive and not even worthy of one star. The dresser is all scratched with two of the six handles literally hanging off. I’m glad I brought Clorox wipes to wipe everything down. Totally skeeved out and they had the nerve to leave an envelope for a tip for room service. I paid $ 157 for a group rate and that was way too much for a room like this. A better name for this place would be «Poor» Quality Inn.

No frills hotel, great comfortable bed and hot shower but that’s about it at this outdated hotel. On a side note, the free breakfast is horrid. Three hours later and I’m still paying for it by writing this review on the can. Staff was friendly and nice but restaurant is outdated and we watched multiple people walk in and walk right back out after getting a bit skeeved out.

Stayed one night at the end of September. The hotel is located near the Catskills park, which is why we ended up there, and this is the sole good thing I can say about it. We arrived around 7pm and the two recipients greeted us with a grumpy check-​in. While, as was clear from the almost empty lot, the hotel wasn’t occupied we were suited at the far-​most section of the hotel in a room facing the 87 freeway. Needless to say that the noise level was terrible. As an added bonus to the highway noise, the scent in the room was unpleasant and in the sink the water hardly flowed down the drain hole. To further improve my mood, the detergent vending machine in the laundry room swallowed my 4 quarters and I had to march all the way to the front desk. I received the detergent, but no one cared about the broken vending machine. The highest point during our stay was the «complementary» breakfast. On check-​in we received two breakfast tickets, I’m traveling on business trips for a quarter of a century now … that was the first time that I received tickets for a complementary meal. We marched to the dining room and once we submitted our tickets to the waiter, he seated us at one of the tables and gave us two menus. One menu for the «complementary» breakfast with three entries from which we had to choose one, the least sweet choice was scrambled egg, sausage and toast with a cup of coffee — have no mistake — a single cup of coffee — no refills. For the stuff in the other menu you had to pay, we decided not to invest anymore money in this institute. It took more than 20 minutes for the waiter to bring the food and you can guess how it looked and tested. I’ll only mention that the toast was really really greasy. At check-​out the receptionist didn’t bother to ask how was our stay. To conclude — I strongly recommend NOT to attend this hotel.

So far so good here at the hotel. Ten min away from Woodstock. Everyone has been nice, helpful. Steakhouse next to it is a plus! Breakfast is delicious. If you don’t want breakfast that comes with the stay then you can order different meal and value of free breakfast used towards main menu. My kids forgot their tooth brushes and they have them at no cost at front desk with other toiletries like shaving cream and deodorant. Free coffee in lobby 24/​7, coffee machine in room, small fridge in room, tea, chocolate, snack machines, small game room, small gym but useful, gym usually empty. Room was clean, ladies cleaning are very sweet and polite. Yessss… They are Latinas Kelly Osborne (they proudly smile… And no. I was not insulted :)).
Four stars due to proximity to car dealer though hotel rooms have different entrances the main entrance is bombarded with dealer cars. I didn’t use the pool, it’s clean, but I need the sun while in it.
Hotel is two floors, that’s why there is no elevator, but it’s only few stairs up.

Overpriced and in need of repairs and updates. The air conditioner didn’t work, tub was stained and toilet seat was cracked and stained. Overall impression– icky!

The motel is certainly not upscale or aesthetically pleasing; located directly off a main highway and sharing a parking lot with car dealerships. The girl at the front desk was terse and unfriendly and the halls wreak of cigarettes. However, the location is very convenient for access to nearby cities of Woodstock, Catskill, New Paltz, Rhinebeck etc. If you’re looking for a moderately priced, safe space with convenient access, this works. There are TVs & Mini fridges in the room and room-​darkening drapes. The beds are comfortable enough and the bathrooms, while bare bones, are clean. We had a pleasant stay here. Just rethink staying here if you’d like a view of anything other than a parking lot, dumpsters and a highway.

Stayed here for one night for Valentine’s Day. Booked a regular room thru Expedia for 129. When we arrived early we asked if room was ready and it was. Just for giggles I asked if they had any upgrades available. The desk person checked and offered us a 2 full bath suite for an extra $ 25. No brainier. We took it. Room was spacious and clean. We enjoyed our one night stay and would definitely return. Thanks.

The pro’s:
The room was clean and fairly large.
The cons:
The hotel was extremely dated which isn’t the end of the world but paint was peeling and there were cracks everywhere.
The pin ball machine in the game room overheated and brought out basically all the fire trucks in the county and caused us all to evacuate.
The phone and alarm clock both didn’t work.
The breakfast at the restaurant next door was only ok, it was served buffet style because the hotel was so crowded. However the food was cold and more variety was needed.
To sum it up: stay elsewhere, if possible. Not at all worth $ 160 a night.

The room was clean but could use some updating, especially the bathroom. A little pricey for what it is. The staff was ok, not overly friendly. The free breakfast at the restaurant connected to the hotel was horrendous do not go there.

I just returned from a Veterans Conference at this sorry excuse for a hotel. This was our tenth annual conference at this hotel and it has consistently been less than stellar, But due to the inexpensive rates we continued to return. This will not happen again. Them management was hostile from check –in on Friday to check-​out on Sunday. When one of the Veterans calmly and reasonably questioned his bill today, a clerk (not the one taking care of the Veteran) threatened to call the police.
On top of that, there were rooms infested with ants. The door in my bathroom hit the toilet when opening and closing, causing the toilet to rock.
The management needs learn how to treat the customers.
