Superior customer service in a day and age where it has because nonexistent! After recently having my road bike stolen, I had an old GT Mountain Bike as my back-up that I was meaning to get fixed up. so I took it in to be serviced. Janice was so very nice and when it was time to pick up my bike, not only was it riding like a Cadillac, one of the guys helped explain my gear system to me and how to work it! I’m truly thankful for their help because these are the only wheels I have! I HIGHLY recommend taking your wheels here to get serviced!

The people here are extremely friendly and helpful — I had a flat tire and it was fixed in less than an hour. They do excellent yearly tuneups on my bike. Prices are very reasonable. I would recommend going here instead of the branch in Red Hook, since bikes that need to be fixed are shipped to the Kingston branch, and they can usually get it done more quickly. Highly recommended!

My wife and I had a fantastic buying experience at Kingston Cyclery in June 2013. We went on a weekday when it was less crowded. Janice spent an hour and a half with us just getting to know our bicycling personalities, style, needs, etc. She discouraged us from a higher trim level even when I mentioned one. They didn’t have exactly what my wife thought she wanted the first visit, so Janice ordered one with the understanding we didn’t have to buy it.(We did.) When we picked them up she spent another hour and a half measuring us for the right seat, adjusting the seat height, selling us helmets without steering us to the most expensive ones, helping us get gloves and shorts, etc.(These were our first new bikes, and bike accessories, in 20 years.) Free adjustments for a year. I recommend without reservation. If you can, go on a weekday.

Just bought a new bicycle here! I checked out Revolution Bicycles(Saugerties) and Bike Brothers(also Kingston) before I settled on buying a bike here. Kingston Cyclery had a wider selection and they were much more helpful. They helped me find the right size and fit for what I was looking for, and they were very nice. They weren’t too pushy either about buying accessories, which made my experience much more pleasant. I ended up with a Trek, and I even got a discount! I will be back here for a tune up soon.

Just got a helmet for my 6 y/o but they were extremely knowledgeable and nice. Took the time to make sure the fit was good. Reasonable price. Very good experience.
