35 yrs with this company after all the company buy outs. Still paying over $ 150. Decided to cancel today. Called customer service…60 mins of talking to different people different departments for cancellation of services… HORRIBLE service.

It is the worst company ever I ever had. The customer service is rude and not care for your business at all. They don’t know what they do. I need to add another phone line into my business account and it took for several months and could not finish it. I would like to give zero star if it has to.

Called and was quoted that I could get 25Mbps, cool better than TWC right!?! and better price too. Set appt for the 11 of Jan, no body showed, got some snarky stuck up lady who (just like a previous Unilocal statement) the tech had til 5pm. OK, 6pm no one, call again, rude lady again. Called corporate # at 7pm and was told 25 was not possible for my house. Worked a deal for 2 modems running 10Mbps, waived all fees and suppose to run 49 bucks, schedule appt for the 13 of Jan. No body shows or calls, these idiots don’t type memos, write it down or have any way of recording what they say to their customers. Then telling me these services for this 2modem deal is 70+ a month… hell no, keep that junk. The century link here in central Tx must be sniffing wires or something cuz the office in PA is on point and great. Worst mistake ever, the only plus to this event was that the tech DID NOT show up and I end up being charged that outlandish fee. Its gonna be a bad day making this mil mama mad!

Day 1: Called to schedule an installation appointment. Can’t get one for 8 days.
Day 7: Called to confirm my installation appointment.
Day 8: Appointment confirmation email said a technician would arrive between 12pm –3:59pm to hook up my internet and phone.
Day9: I called at 10 am and asked customer service to pass my number to the technician so I could get a call when they are 30 mins out.
I called customer service at 3:45pm after not hearing anything and was told the technician actually had until 5pm.
I called again at 5:52pm and was told they do not know why my appointment was missed and it would be elevated to a supervisor. Since they close at 6pm I won’t hear anything until tomorrow I suppose.
Horrible service.

I wish I had done my homework before contacting century link. I am a victim of their criminally incompetent customer service and failure to show at scheduled times. I have never in my life had a worse business transaction then I did with Killeen century link. How do they stay in business? Tech failed to show for install with no contact. I spent 3 hours on the phone talking to people who told me they don’t handle calls in my area. Hung up on twice during transfers. A person who said they were a supervisor promise to call back shortly with an answer, no return call. When I finally did talk to someone she said all the techs went home for the day. I finally am getting the service connected today (after 4 more phone calls). If I have any more problems I will cancel the service and go with a reliable company like Time Warner.

Horrible!!! This is the most unprofessional company ever. Do not use this company if you have options. Trust me I wouldn’t but they are the only ones that service my area. I’ve been petitioning Time Warner Cable to lay cables in our area just so I don’t have to deal with this so called company. They don’t show up for scheduled appointments and God forbid you have a problem. Good luck getting them to come out to address it. I would never recommend them to ANYONE!

I understand that a company can get busy. What I don’t understand is that when you have an appointment for that day you don’t call that morning you are suppose to be there and cancel. To me that’s the rudest thing any company can do. If you knew that you where going to need something else and you didn’t have the part don’t call that morning you are suppose to be at your customers house and tell them, «I’m sorry but we have to cancel and move your appointment out until the 16^th because it’s going to take longer then what we thought.» Now you have one unhappy customer. This is not how to be professional

i signed up for centurylink services on july 6^th and after getting a run around by the installer team telling me there was a dog in my backyard (which i dont have) then saying they needed to gain access to my neghbors backyard «which was locked and a dog was there» i fianlly went to my neghbors house after almost 3 weeks of centurylink installers failing and the lady answered the door promptly and said her back gate is never locked and she doesnt own a dog… i called the installer and he finally hooked everything up but leaving the wire on top of my lawn and my neghbors lawn (where it still is to this day). now im recieving a bill that is double the price of what i was quoted originally. needless to say im very upset. i chatted online last week with someone and they gave me the loyalty departments phone number, which i called immediately and spoke with an incredibly rude lady who after explaining my situation she responded «what do you want me to do about it» i explained id like to be compensated for all this and the call was then disconnected. The next day I attempted again and the number I was provided was now disconnected. I returned to chat where everyone was completely useless and now for the 3^rd time I’ve been «put on a list» to be contacted by a supervisor. No supervisor has ever contacted me to this day. Now my service has been shut off because I didn’t pay for a job that was never finished. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!

Horrible Service! Dont use this for business, as they dont know how to run theirs. I requested an upgrade 3 weeks ago and instead of an upgrade, my service worked for a few hours then went out entireley because of some «bonded line problem. Many many calls and missed promises. Go back to stone and tablet before you use these guys!

I won’t make this long. I had centurylink last year in Colorado. I liked them so I got them here. Worst mistake of my life. $ 70 a month for nothing but crappy slow internet. If you own more than one smart device in your home do not get them. Sorry to say this, but Colorado might be the only place this internet actually delivers.

The only reason they get one star is because I have to click it. Horrible company!!! I have made 3 apts for them to come and install my internet, and guess what NO CALL NO SHOW! When I called to talk to the supervisor she was NO HELP and didn’t seem to care at all! She gladly let me cancel my service sign up and move to another company. Pathetic, I suggest corporate hire people who give a damn or just shut your company down.

IF I COULD GIVE THIS S*ITTY COMPANY NO STARS I WOULD!!! This is the worse internet service in the Copperas cove area. The rates are RIDICULOUS and you can’t even run two devices at once without them both running slow. I live in a one bedroom and if I have my wifi turned on on my phone then I can’t watch Netflix or Hulu on my tv without it buffering litterly every 5 seconds. People say you get what you pay for but if I’m $ 70 A FREAKING MONTH THE INTERNET SHOULD BE WORKING!!!

I Wish I could give less than 1 star to this company. Internet sucks, Custumer service the worst. I’m seriously thinking on moving out to an area where I’m not obligated to use century link. Hate them

If it was possible, I would give this company a half star. Please do not waste your time! Internet goes out every day and I do mean every day! The customer service is a joke! The worst company I ever dealt with! I switched to Time Warner!

Internet goes out almost daily. Phone service just went out on a Saturday, and I was told a tech could come out Tuesday to fix it.
Yeah, I don’t have a business to run or anything. We have issues daily. I can’t stress how bad this company is.
Have just made a move to switch to Time Warner.

I have been a loyal customer to Century Link since 2008. I moved to Killeen at the beginning of the and have had no issues, until now. We are trying to move our internet to the new house, we had a scheduled appt for the 13^th between 1 – 4, sat around all day to find out after I call them that they didn’t have time to come to the house. Today I get another phone call that they ran out of fiber cable. The tech supervisor will pick up calls from the main office, but not a customers phone call. Very displease with Killeen Century Link.

While the internet service is reliable and steady they are terrible at keeping appointments. On my initial install they showed up 2 days late and I think the only reason they showed up at all is because I went to the store to complain. Then I moved across town and they canceled my original install time and made a new appointment a week later and said they were «busy». Then on the new appointment a week later the didn’t show up again. I complained again and finally today they showed up to install. Good internet service extremely poor customer service. I completely understand things happen but if the tech can’t show up at least call me and tell me that.

Install gone bad. While requesting a 2^nd line for internet service at our rural residence it has taken 7 phone calls, 13 days, and we still do not have service. They are predicting an install 4 days from know but how can not I trust what they say.
Most of the people I have talked to are nice and competent. Yet, they can only do what they can do. They can not control the rest of the company and this comes down to the leadership of the company and their systems.
Suggestion: If you have to to use Century Link, because it is the only service offered in your area, call multiple times per day to check on your order, like every 2 hours. And PRAY!

Centurylink provides good Internet service, however it feels like I’m talking with the laziest company ever. When we ordered the router box and set up an appointment, they never showed up. They finally showed two days later. We’ve set up an allotment so we don’t have to keep paying directly by mail every month and every month we continue to get a bill in the mail and centurylink has no record of our allotment. Lastly, we combined our bill with Directv and centurylink and Directv continues to have no record of this. The two companies do not communicate and it seems like every person I talk to from Centurylink doesn’t write anything down or doesn’t send the info up. Be prepared to do a lot of work yourself if you plan on getting Internet from Centurylink

Centrylink is the Internet provide I chose. Good service. I got the fiber Internet. They also do home phone and set up Direct Tv.
