Almost everything about this place was awesome. However, for $ 35 I expected my feet to be scrubbed smooth and they weren’t. The nail tech lightly scrubbed my heals and tow callous for about one minute on each foot. HOWEVER… EVERYTHING ELSE WAS AWESOME! The atmosphere was clean, fresh and sanitary. I was super comfy in my big chair. The nail tech was meticulous with manicuring and painting. And the massage… I almost feel asleep it was so relaxing. I would go back to but make it clear that I want the calloused skin worked on.

Amazing! I wish this nail salon could follow me home! You will not regret going here if you’re on vacation or lucky enough to live nearby! It was exactly the pampering I needed on the second to last day of vacation for a mani/​pedi. I did Quinnie’s pedi and regular mani with Nichol, I highly recommend him!

I had a decent Braziliian done by Susan. She was prompt and nice and drove me back home because I was on foot. I get brazillians often so I gave it three stars because she missed a spot on the inside lip and there was many long loose hairs that could have been plucked. I spent a good thirty minutes fixing it after ward. I had a strip down the middle that was not as percisely shaped as it was before so I had to fix that as well. I liked her materials, speed, and overall technique. I had no burning sensation afterwards which I have at other salons who have poor technique. Hopefully Susan will be more detailed oriented with her next customers. She is worth hiring though!

On vacation and needed pretty toes, I got those and so much more. Chilaxed in an awesome, fluffy recliner while my nails were expertly prepped and polished. I have been in the beauty industry for 20 years and know quality work, these folks are top notch. The soothing waterfall, tranquil music, low lighting, and lovely décor really helped me to transition to vacation mode. I got a really wonderful gel manicure too. Bravo, Quinnie’s!

I had a session with Jessica. She was really sweet, easy to talk to and provided exceptional client experience. I haven’t gotten anything done in a year and she made the session very easy and did not hurt as much as I remembered. Prices are reasonable for the amazing outcome!

While everyone getting a pedicure at Quinnie’s always looks so relaxed, I’m there for one reason only: Waxing Extraordinaire Susan. I’ve been her client for so long, I consider her a dear friend because we’ve seen each other through life’s ups and downs, and I even followed her from another salon! Susan is warm and caring, and will put you at ease, no matter which service you’re getting… and rest assured ~ you will be pleased with the results!

My GF Brandi and I went here in Maui! Easy to find. Brandi had her gel nails filled and I got a pedicure. I think I got the best of it! Teri was really nice and did a great job. Still rocking Lincoln Park after Midnight, though its coming off today. Nice chairs, relaxing, friendly staff. Parking was easy. Brandi seems happy with her nails as well, though he has a wicked girl at home so she is not easily impressed. So we would recommend!

Just got gel nails and pedicure. I’m from out of town and followed the Unilocal reviews. It was so mellow in the salon with dim lighting, over stuffed recliners and special effects of a smokey fountain. Quinnie was my specialist and was very thorough and gentle. She did an excellent mani and pedi. Top notch. I would go again when I’m in the area. I recommend this salon.

Clearly the best pedicure I’ve ever had and I’ve had pedicures in many cities where I travel. The foot and calf massage was incredible and nearly put me to sleep. Great service and the price is most competitive with other Maui Kihei salons.

This review is for Jessica who did my bikini wax.
I missed my appointment on the mainland before our honeymoon and called Quinnies as soon as we landed based on other Unilocal reviews. I was told I’d be called back and within 5 min Jessica called me back and said she could do a last minute wax that day! I was so relieved. We checked into our hotel which took longer then expected so I called to make sure I was still able to come in even if I was 10 min late. Jessica was so kind and told me not to worry, to take my time, I’m on vacation and she will be there when I get there.
As soon as I walked in I felt welcome and almost like I knew her. Coincidentally she was from the same area I live in California. Wax was quick, painless and I felt totally comfortable and at ease. I so wish Jessica lived in my area. She would be my go to waxer.

Beyond amazing customer service. Owner (quinnie) is very attentive and truly cares about her customers. Relaxing atmosphere, clean and conviently located in central Kihei. There is not a communication issue here and the interior design is very relaxing and tasteful. Soft music plays as a gentle water fountain babbles in the background. The scent in the air is always so inviting when I walk in… lemongrass I believe. I recommend the «Quinnies pedicure»… includes all the regular pedicure does plus paraffin foot wrap and hand, arm, neck, shoulder and head massage $ 55. Worth the splurge every once in a while. They were nice enough to order the Zoya nail color I love, but could find anywhere else on Maui for me to purchase. There are also 2 private rooms for massage and waxing provided by a specialist.

I have a job interview later today so I wanted to get a manicure to boost my confidence. I didn’t realize this place didn’t take walk-​ins until I got there. Quinnie managed to fit me in between two other clients. She worked quickly, but the manicure was still done beautifully! I didn’t feel rushed at all, and actually preferred it to the two hour mani-​pedi I got at another place! The hand and arm massage was perfect.
She even fixed a nail she smashed on mistake without a complaint. I’ve been to places that hemmed and hawed over having to do everything over again on one nail. She was perfect!
Her professionalism and ambiance of the whole salon, plus their reasonable prices will DEFINITELY have me coming back for more. Can’t wait to book my wax!

This review is for SUSAN who does the waxing. I have been going to Susan for almost 10 years now. I followed her here from The Nail Shop in Azeka.
Susan is so good at brow waxing (and other body parts too!) that she is the ONLY ONE I will let wax my brows. That’s right people, if Susan is not available, I go au natural or do it myself…
She is extremely skilled, professional and fun to talk to. She knows when you need a bushy brow, a thin one, or somewhere in between and does not push her personal brow agenda on you like some other waxers…
Do yourself a favor and get it done by Susan. I hear she does a fabulous Brazilian bikini wax as well, but that aint for me!
