Decent BBQ in a nice setting. Pleasant service alligators to provide entertainment. It is a good place for lunch but lacking just something.

Food was amazing! Pulled pork and mac’cheese. The only reason it’s not a 5 star is the beef brisket was a little fatty and needed to be seared. Seemed more like roast beef.

Good service and a beautiful spot. But if it’s real BBQ you seek, go elsewhere. Dry brisket, over sauced ribs. Dry pulled pork. You can find better BBQ off island.

After a LONGDAY of hitting birdies, pars, bogies and ahem… Some double bodies on The Ocean course… We thought it best to refuel with some BBQ… And the caddies recommended we try this joint. Well, they certainly know how to make recommendations because for the most part, everything was pretty on point. The drinks, not too shabby! Collectively, we had a blueberry margarita, a maitai and some scotch… All serving the purpose of dulling the pain from the«bad holes.» As for food, well, without much of any food all day, we surely ordered a feast for the masses, but instead went into 4 mouths! — BBQ Chicken Wings: at first I wasn’t going to have any of these for fear they’d be covered in sauce, alas, to my surprise and my appetites HAPPINESS, they weren’t so I had THREE of those suckers(probably the best wings I’ve ever had) along side my warm salad topped with the most perfectly cooked salmon! Mmmm. — Blue Cheese Salad: it was there and gone with a blink of an eye, so I do believe it was a winner. — Warm Salad with Salmon: ABSOLUTELY fantastic, just like what I would make at home, except I didn’t have to make a thing! — ½ BBQ Chicken with 2 sides(collards & side salad): the chicken kicked ass, and was a very heft portion, enough to actually fill me up(GASP)… But I have to say, the collards were kind of gross. Collards definitely failed the taste test on my trip to South Carlolina. Smokey + Vinegary + Sweet, that’s just not my thing. But the side salad was up to par, much like we were on hole 5. — Pulled Pork: if you like smokey flavors, then this is for you. Unfortunately, the person who ordered it doesn’t like that type of flavor, thus she only had a few bites and stopped, sharing her meal with the rest of the table. I don’t eat pork, so I can’t really tell you if it were good or not, other than from my observations. — Beef Brisket: got the job done, but wasn’t as good as a restaurant me and this person(who ordered the dish) frequent on the regular in Los Angeles… He did love the corn bread and wolfed the fries in no time though. — Coconut Chicken Curry: very well done. I did not taste this, but I was told it was quite tasty… And the person who got the beef brisket finished this entrée, which was impressive because he’s the pickiest person on the face of the planet! So there you have it… We BBQed the crap out of ourselves and for the most part, really enjoyed it. It took ALL of my energy NOTTO order another portion of salmon… ALLMYSTRENGTH… Ha, as everyone at the table was even egging me on, but I knew if I did, it would open a can of «fish» and I wouldn’t be able to stop!

Food and service are ok, but not worth a detour. The ambiente inside is boring, the terrasse is cool. If you want food for double the quality and half the price, you better go to Sticky Fingers in Charleston. Grüezi.

Great beer selection. Helpful staff. Eat outside but ask for the bug spray or you will be a meal for the mosquitoes. The view is beating up. I recommend the BBQ plate for 4. You get to try all the meats. The ribs are delightful. The chicken and pork are great, the brisket was a little dry for my taste. They have a variety of sauces. There is something for everyone.

Nice location. Great service. Food was less than average. Not bad, just not good. We had the 4 person family style meal which included brisket, ribs, pulled pork and chicken. Not one stood out. They were all equally average(at best). My family of 5’s least favorite restaurant all week. But again, our waitress was excellent. And the location is at the Osprey Golf Course and is very nice also.

Nice setting for family dinner. We walked in around 6pm with no reservations and got right in. We were seated in the bar not the main dinning room. We had a mix of the bbq, burger and pulled pork. All of the food was excellent. Prices were reasonable and the service was solid. If you like bbq this is worth stop.

Inside the Osprey Golf — very fancy from the outside– but relaxed and fun inside. Food was delicious, wine list good and lots of gator watching from the deck!

We came here on our first night of vacation and I really enjoyed it! We had a great view while sitting outside of the alligators laying out which was really cool. I ordered a blueberry margarita, and I was impressed with my drink though only had one because it came at quite a price. The drink prices were very high. My dinner was delicious, I had the summer salad and my fiancé had the brisket. Both were delicious. I absolutely recommend the macaroni and cheese as a side! The service was wonderful and everyone was so friendly and helpful. I would definitely go back!

We weren’t paying, so cost not an issue. I didn’t realize it was part of the country club as we had no say in the restaurant choice. But…$ 25 for a burger was odd when the steak was only $ 30something and the nachos were only $ 12. Even the waitress commented about the odd price. I honesty thought it could be a typo. I ordered it as it sounded really good and I could say I’ve had a $ 25 burger. Beer selection good. Wine list good. Ribs were very good. Steak good. Nachos good. Fish special very good. Chicken only so-so. Burger, even if priced reasonably, was only ok – they used two kids burgers instead of one thick burger and the bacon was burned. Weird right? For this reason I give 3 stars. Service was very good and excellent regarding gluten-free was excellent.

Mojitos? Check. Shrimp cakes? Check. Mustard based BBQ sauce AND vinegar based BBQ sauce? Check. Excellent service and the best cornbread and brisket in at 100 miles? CHECK. BBQ with a bit more class than your average BBQ joint, and damn if the corn bread isn’t the best I’ve ever eaten.

Great atmosphere at the restaurant at Osprey Point. My son and I road our bikes(about 4 miles) and wife and daughter met us. Short ribs were delicious. Had them wet. Comes with corn bread. All our food tasted great. Come hungry! We sat on the back porch and it was a beautiful setting. Posted pics of deserts.

BBQ ribs were good. The Pulled pork was very poor. No refills on tea or soda. Normally a southern tradition. Maybe this was a bad night. The place was not crowded so there was plenty of time to refill 2 Diet cokes.

Very good BBQ and nice beer and cocktail list. Portions are huge and prices are reasonable(especially when you consider where you are). Far, far better than standard golf course clubhouse fare. Only problem we encountered was the flock of birds inhabiting the trees which overhang the restaurant’s outdoor dining patio. They are not shy about taking food off of tables when people get up to leave. Worse, a bird dropped a most disgusting load onto our table in the middle of our lunch. Luckily it missed us and the staff was very accommodating but it absolutely ruined our experience. The other aspect that was a little troubling was that the staff told us that this happens fairly regularly, but no one warned us before we sat down. You don’t expect this to go unchecked at this kind of resort so a warning would have been welcomed.
