Robert is extremely professional and knowledgeable. He’s great with trends, haircare and styles. I felt like I got my money’s worth. I actually enjoyed a haircut. Definitely coming back.

Have you ever noticed the chattier the barber the sloppier the haircut? Well that was my experience here unfortunately. The five star rating made me give this place a try. I have experienced much better haircuts in this part of Queens. Two good things about the establishment is that it is cleaner than most and they give a discount card for regular visits.

First, I would like to thank Rob for the exceptional service and hair care knowledge. Since my initial review, Rob has made it his priority to address my issue or first impression with his business. The owner is very dedicated to providing top-​notch service and quality haircuts to his clients. He is very unique because he has the knowledge of a stylist but with a sharp touch of a barber. Stylist are usually excellent and very skillful in the art of cutting and balancing the texture of hair. Whereas, barbers are very skillful in blending and creating very sharp lines. His combination is a perfect fit for the modern gents.
I am very excited to have found a replacement to my previous stylist who has moved into the city. I will definitely recommend Rob and will be returning for future cuts.

I called earlier in the week for an appointment and I arrived 8 minutes late today. The gates was down, although business hours states they are open till 6pm. I guess I won’t know the level of service stated by other customers. One thing for sure, If you are closing and you a client remaining, a courtesy text or phone call would go a long way. I won’t make this trip again!

I moved to NYC but moved back to Chicago but still always have my Haircut here in Prestige Cuts! Robert is an amazing barber/​stylist he’s an artist and really good at it. Very pleasant and always suggest the newest and coolest haircut/​style. It’s right by the heart of Kew Gardens so it’s easy to find. The price is so affordable and he sells good hair products. If you want to have the cheapest makeover go check him out!!! :)

Rob as a professional knows well how to refresh your haircut style even better than you can imagine.

There are a lot of hair places in Kew Gardens including barbers. Been living here for 12 years and no one ever seems to get it right. This one place I would only get a decent cut once out of five times by the same person, another always cut uneven, and it goes on and on. I think I just about settled for mediocre. Then I grew out my hair king and down my back and resorted to Japanese salons in the city, but then once I cut my hair short back to a fade, and then Rob opened Prestige, I started going to him.
Amazing cut! Precise, neat, attention to details! Rob can do anything, traditional, classic, trendy, you name it, very knowledgeable and on top of his game. It’s been about six months since I’ve been getting my hair cut here and I’ve always gotten compliments from people.
Rob makes it very easy to book appointments, just text once you’re a customer. There is also another barber/​stylist named Avi. I haven’t gotten my hair cut by him yet, but every haircut I’ve seen him turn out has been great as well. The guys here really know guy’s hair especially different ethnicities. Anyhow, I’m moving to east Harlem, but will make it a point to come back to Kew to get my hair cut here!
Do yourself a favor and just get your hair cut here!

I was in need of a new look. My brother in law recommended Rob at Prestige. I now have a stylist I can rely on. I did the keratin treatment and I have been getting compliments all over town. Thanks Rob!

Been going to see Avi for a couple months now. I get the sense he’s fairly new there — but I’m new to the neighborhood, so I’m game to try. He’s pretty damn good. On my way over today, I caught the eye of a neighboring salon stylist. Same stylist saw me on my way home from my cut, and gave me that nod. Dude, when you get the knowing nod of approval from the competition down the street, you’re doing something right. Prestige kicks ass. Go.

This is an excellent place to get your hair cut. The stylists are very very cordial and do an excellent job. I have had my haircut by Avi and every time he does not disappoint. He takes great direction and makes the appropriate suggestions when needed. I am very happy to have found this place and will continue to be a loyal customer. Prices are reasonable.

Moved to Kew Gardens recently and it was hard for me to find a good barber as my previous one. Tried a few and did not like their work, until I went to Prestige and met Rob. He is a good barber and knows what he is doing.

Avi and Rob are 100% professional. Always punctual with appointments. Cuts using my specifications perfectly everytime. Always remembers what was done and has to ask no questions. Highly recommended.

A haircut by Avi is one of the best deals in town. $ 15 gets you a polite and professional barber, a knowledgeable consultation, a precise haircut in a short amount of time without too much chit-​chat, which I prefer. Walk-​ins are welcomed by him, but make an appointment if you want the owner, who is a bit more expensive but still reasonable. Ask for the ‘frequent flyer’ card so that your 5^th haircut will be half off and your 10^th haircut will be free.

Prestige is the place to go for a fresh cut. Rob’s expertise in barbering is paired nicely with his immense skills of the salon word. I have never received a bad cut nor a mediocre cut, they’ve always been amazing. I travel for work and often am in a pinch where I need to get my haircut, I will ALWAYS wait until I’m back home to see Rob to get it done! I’ve been coming to Rob since he has opened in Kew Gardens and will continue to be a loyal customer.

Rob is legit at what he does. I set up an appointment and he was ready to go from the second I got there. I didn’t really know exactly what I wanted but he helped me decide. Throughout the haircut he was telling me about the healthy products I should use for my hair and the different styles I could do, styles that I didn’t even know about. Also, he gave me a nice history lesson about Bukharian’s. Keep it up, I’ll definitely come back.

I saw a haircut online and I thought it would be awesome to have, so I brought a photo with me and I really wanted it to be exact, but I’m usually let down when I try bringing in a photo somewhere and they end making a completely different look out of it. Rob the main stylist here did such a great job I was happy with the results he gave me, I recommend for anyone to come by and try it out, he gives great tips also after styling you!

This place is great and Rob, well, he is legit. Long story short I made an attempt to try something new coming from my old Barber of 20 years. I came here specifically because I wanted to try the undercut haircut style you see a lot of in the pictures. My old Barber did an ok job but Rob just killed it and showed me a few tricks on styling I was unfamiliar with in the past.
This place is legit, if your wanting to try something new and worried, don’t be just come here.
Also get the styling product, best I have ever is used and I have tried many good ones, it creates a thicker, fuller, textured look.
