I’m not much of a motel person and usually stay away from Super 8 in principle, but I was looking at prices and thought what the hell, it’s cheap and got pretty decent reviews. This place is pretty nice! Lobby is very clean and staff was very friendly. I had pretty low expectations heading to the room but was pleasantly surprised. Nice comfy clean king bed, love seat, flat screen tv, microwave and fridge. The room was extremely clean and updated. Probably nicer than the last hotel I paid $ 150+ bucks for. Nice pool area(although not pool weather) and they have free breakfast but haven’t tried it. All in all, pretty happy with the choice!

We stayed here for a night on our way to San Antonio. The lady at the front desk was very helpful and sweet. However, the rooms were disgusting. Our room felt damp the entire time we were there. But cleanliness is the most important thing to me and it looked like our sheets hadn’t been changed and there was hair on them. There was also hair on the floors in the bathroom. They provided breakfast but there wasn’t enough and it was all gone by 8:30 a.m. With a little work, this could be a nice little hotel and it makes me sad to give it such a low review because we liked the lady up front desk so well, but no, we would not stay there again.

I don’t know how this place gets such high reviews. It’s not a bad hotel, but it is very basic and the rooms need a little renovation. Carpets are very worn, bathroom also looks worn out. On the positive the beds are comfortable enough and there is a beautiful pool. Breakfast is cereal and packaged muffins. If this is your price range then it’s a fine place to stay, just not really a great hotel.
