Dr. Barry E. Wootton is a graduate of the University of California, San Francisco post-​graduate periodontal program and has practiced periodontics in Kentfield, CA since 1980.

Dr. Wootton is a former president of the Marin County Dental Society, and has served on the Peer Review Committee of the California Society of Periodontists for over fifteen years. He is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the California Dental Association (CDA), the Marin County Dental Society (MCDS), the California Society of Periodontists (CSP), and the Academy of Osseointegration (AO).
