Established in 2013.

RylieCakes is 100% gluten free and will carries various vegan and raw products. Our goal is to provide everyone with a gluten allergy or intolerance with a glorious taste of the sweet life again! We aspire to make eating gluten-​free less of a challenge and absolutely more enjoyable for as many people as we can. Ryliecakes also feels it has a responsibility to the community and our environment. We source our ingredients from as many local, family-​owned, and sustainable farms as possible. We also use as many organic and fresh ingredients as the seasons allow. All of our packaging is made from recyclable materials, is compostable, and better yet, is made right here in the USA! RylieCakes strives to be environmentally and socially responsible while bringing decadent desserts and simple classics back into the lives of those that have to eat gluten free (And we might even surprise those of you who don’t!).

Business Owner

After being diagnosed with Fibromyalgia at the age of 18, I brought about drastic changes in my lifestyle in order to live a healthy and relatively pain free life; one of these included having a 100% gluten free diet. This was devastating to me, as I loved to bake, however, it also presented me with a new challenge: learning how to bake gluten free. Studying math and economics at college did not leave me with much free time to experiment in the kitchen; thus, I had to utilize my leisure time wisely so I could bake as much as possible, which ultimately landed me my nickname: Ryliecakes.

After college, I pursued my passion of baking and went to culinary school at The Cambridge School of Culinary Arts. Shortly after graduating as a Pastry Chef, I came back home to Seattle to open up RylieCakes as I aspired to provide people who have a gluten allergy or intolerance with a glorious taste of the sweet life again!
