Jimano’s Pizzeria

We placed an order for a 14 inch stuffed pepperoni pizza. We initiated the call at 7:17 p.m. the order was logged into their system at 7:18. My hubby and I were told it would be only a half an hour. We got to the place to pick our pizza up and there was still time left on the clock to finish baking our pizza. We didn’t receive our order until 8:02. This may sound nit-​picky, but when a person says a half hour, it should be a half hour, not the 45 minutes it actually took.
While the pizza was OK and it wasn’t bad, I have had better stuffed pizza from Giordano’s. Even my own stuffed pizza is comparable to Jimano’s and a whole lot less expensive. Unless the lady on the phone was a brand new employee and didn’t know that stuffed pizzas take longer, she lied to us. We won’t be back because of that and the fact that she hung up on my hubby the first time he tried to call, stating that she couldn’t hear him.

Wow! We ate a stuffed pepperoni pizza, it was amazing! And the costumer service was outstanding! If you are a pizza lover, this place is a must.

First timer for the lunch special– good value, good food and a good experience. Will return with co-​workers!

My wife ordered a pizza and wings from here earlier this week. The pizza we like normally has onions on it but we asked for no onions because our daughter is horribly allergic. We also wanted pan crust not thin and cut like a pie not in squares. When we got our pizza it was thin crust and in squares… Plus the real kicker was it had onions on it. So my daughter could come nowhere near it andbwas now way for her to eat it. Then the wings. We wanted spicy and i swear the sauce had no spice. It was all runny and tastes lime straight up butter. Its a real disapointment when someone has such a severe food allergy and it seems the resturant pays no attenchion to it. Not onlybwill we never ever ever be eating here again i will tell friends and family not to either… If i could give zero stars i would… Its such a dissapointment.

Seriously delicious stuffed pizza! Chicago pizza can be found in Kenosha. With so many amazing pizzas available in town from family owned shops, you might think twice about a chain or franchise like this. Don’t hold back if you just want a Chi-​town pie! Best stuffed pizza in our area.

I’m so sick of this place. Unfortunately, they’re the only place that delivers. They say The pizza will be here within an hour however, it’s been over an hour and 20 minutes and still no pizza. I called them and they said my pizza got stuck behind other orders and it will be another 15 minutes before it leaves the shop. That would be okay except the pizza is mediocre at best. Barely warm, mind you they’re 5 minutes away, and half the cheese slid off the pie. Next time I’ll just get my lazy butt off the couch and drive to Rvals for a good pizza.

Took off one star because they don’t deliver to my house, but I guess it is kinda far.
Got Italian sausage sammich with hot peppers and melted motz. My son got the «Combo» sammich… has Italian sausage AND Italian beef. Had melted motz and sweet green peppers.
Sandwiches were pretty awesome. Filled both of us up and my son couldn’t finish his… too much sandwich I guess.
Also had the Italian salad. Fresh ingredients, generous size, and the Italian dressing is pretty awesome.
Will be going back for more.

Went back and were treated nicely. We didn’t try the wings or any dessert this time but the pizza was still good

We always order from Jimanos. Delivery staff is friendly. Fantastic pizza and bread sticks! All i can say is… Yummmm!

Usually order from this Jimanos and it is usually pretty good. However, the last two times we have ordered has been a nightmare. The first time the pizza they delivered looks as if it was dropped! I called and I was obviously bothering them! That kinda irritated me so we didn’t order for awhile. So just tonight I am sitting on the couch with my wife and I say «wanna give Jimanos another shot?» Needless to say we ordered a pizza and once again I was clearly bothering the girl who answered the phone and abruptly put me on hold and then the young man who answered phone to take my order made it clear I was a nuisance and not a valued guest by the way he was huffing puffing every time I would add on to my order. Haven’t gotten our pizza yet but I’m sure this will be the last time we order from them unless they make some dramatic changes!

I searched Local pizza hotel in Kenosha online and Jimano’s Pizzeria came up. I’ve have experienced many local pizza places and I would rate Jimano’s as average. Great reviews were given to the breadsticks which were again average. As my pizza was delivered to a local hotel, you would have thought napkins, plates and silverware would be included with the order and it wasn’t. Not sure if I’d give them a try the next time I’m in town.

Have order from here twice. Both as late night meals since it’s the only place open past 10 pm in the area. The pizza is decent, but was pleasantly surprised by the breadsticks that you can add on as a combo. They are garlicky, buttery goodness. I get cravings just for them now. Haven’t had an issue with delivery, but I live fairly close.

I am NOT a complainer. I had to say something however in light of how bad our pizza was.
I was intrigued by the email inviting me to order a pizza at ½ off regular prices, so I went to the website to order but found no provision to handle the discount so I called the store instead. I ordered an 18″ Double crust Buffalo Chicken pizza for my 2 sons and I. First of all, it was NOT double crust. It was just normal. And the crust tasted like unsalted Saltines. But the worst was the chicken (?) and the sauce! I wrote chicken (?) because we were not sure what it was. Maybe it was canned chicken? It had a tuna-​like consistency to it and tasted awful. The sauce, was in NO way anything remotely resembling Buffalo chicken wing sauce.
We received the pizza and dove in. and all stopped at the same time and said what is this??? And stopped eating. Later, we had stomach aches. I’ve had better pizza from a vending machine. and it sure didn’t cost anywhere near $ 30! I gave them 2 stars because I haven’t tried the rest of the food.

We ordered a large supreme pizza and breadsticks for delivery while staying at a nearby motel. The woman who took our order on the phone was courteous and efficient. The delivery man came right to our motel room door, on time, and was polite and friendly. The pizza was excellent!
The bread sticks, more like deep fried pizza dough squares dusted in salt and parmesan cheese, were not what we expected, but they were marvelous. All in all a great pizza experience and a welcome change from the chains.

I flew into town to visit with friends and volunteered to go pick up pizza. We ordered two pizzas, including a deep dish Italian beef pizza. I had never heard of this type of pizza but figured it might be good. I was really impressed. It was a great idea and was delicious. I highly recommend it!
As a side note, since I am from out of town and didn’t want to get lost (not too familiar with the area), I decided to leave my friends house a little early, so I waited about five minutes for my pizza. I was chatting with the person behind the counter and learned that she was the owner. It’s a family-​owned restaurant, and one of the sons was working there as well. It’s good to see that not everything is owned by some huge corporation these days, and I always like to support local businesses.

Definitely the best pizza in Kenosha/​Pleasant Prairie. I am originally from Chicago so I know good pizza. I moved up here 11 years ago and have tried every pizza place in Kenosha — couldn’t find anything good — until Jimano’s! They have the BEST pizza. Comparable to any Chicago pizza! Good work Jimano’s. I will continue to tell everyone what great pizza you have!

We ordered delivery and they got lost — which I’m seeing in other reviews. might want to invest in a GPS Jimano’s. Our delivery person called, was very nice, and it ended up not being a big deal.
The pizza was delicious. My mom and I split a pie, my side had an ample portion of pepperoni and perfectly cooked green peppers. I was super impressed with the spiciness of the sauce (not too much for all you wimps out there) but just enough to balance the cheese, toppings, and crust. Speaking of crust, we ordered it thin– they also offer other varieties including deep dish. It was good, not too crackery thin or thick — soft but crisp, they pretty much nailed it. 2 medium pies + delivery was $ 40, that’s pretty steep. Scour the papers for coupons, and save your pennies cuz the za is worth splurging for.
*Although I haven’t been to the restaurant myself I heard a rumor its take out or delivery only, there are no tables inside.

Love Jimanos. I had a friend who was a pizza guro and let us on to this place. The pizza was pretty good but the real winner is the breadsticks. I dream about these things.
A few weeks ago, I was hanging out with friends who didn’t know Kenosha very well. They wanted a great place to order pizza from. We got Jimanos and the 3 of us completely devoured the breadsticks. The pizza was yummy and all around a good time was had.

Okay, had to write an update. A group of us ordered a delivery to work, and it was awesome. Did the classic pepperoni & cheese. It was really very good. My boss luuuuved their breadsticks.
Not sure what happened the first time I ordered, but I would try it again based on this last experience.
