Rosati’s Of Kenosha

Decent food, CRAPPY Service. This was my first time at this restaurant, I got some take-​out. When I walked in, there were three people behind the counter, and not a single one of them bothered to acknowledge me until about 3 minutes later, when two of them had gone back to the back, and the woman at the register had finished whatever she was doing. I ordered some Fettuccine Alfredo, which was pretty tasty, once I got home. A couple days later, I found from my credit card provider that they have added a 20% tip, even though I wrote down 0 on the tab, and wrote the total without a tip. I don’t think I’ll be coming back.
As an update, I contacted the store yesterday about the error, and the manager immediately took my credit card number and processed a refund of the erroneous tip. But then he informed me that the cashier of the terrible service (and the presumed mistake on the tip) was actually the owner of the place. That does not speak well for them.

Being from Chicago I really had a hankering for a good Italian Beef and Sausage Combo. I usually go to Trolley Dogs but I didn’t feel like going out due to the weather (January in the Midwest) So I found Rosatis and all I want to say is that I am deeply disappointed. The beef was so tough and dry that I couldn’t eat it. The bread was not fresh and obviously left over from yesterday or before. The Italian Sausage wasn’t bad but it was not good enough to save the sandwich. Sorry Rosati’s you missed the mark.

I have had Rosatis in Illinois which is why I chose to come here. The pizza was perfect. The right amount of sauce, cheese and sausage. Rosatis has great sausage. I would recommend trying rosatis if you want something better than the normal crappy food in Wisconsin. Also the guy who complained about pizza by the slice obviously doesn’t know that pizza by the slice in most places isn’t a good example of what they have to offer.

We loved the Rosati’s back in Illinois where we used to live, this one not so much. Pizza seamed extra thin and they were stingy on toppings. Will need to find a new pizza place. Would like for Lou’s to come to Wisconsin.

It was about 12:30 and I was on my way to Kohls so I thought I would finally hit rosatis for the first time. I asked the guy if they had pizza by the slice and he said yes. I asked for sasuage and he turned around and reached for a container sitting on the counter that was pre made. Other places with slices have the pizza under a heat lamp where the cheese is melty and almost just out of the oven hot. Rosatis is just sitting on the counter in a box. The pizza was cold and the cheese formed back to a solid sheet like if you put your fresh left over pizza on the counter for an hour and came back for one more piece. The sasuage was skimpy by the way. I will Go back for a beef one day but the pizza is out. This review is only for the pizza and not rest of the menu. I will update this review when i get something else of the menu.
I went back for beef while I was at the mall. The beef had a good flavor and smelled great. It was a decent size for six dollars and change. It was wet with hot just like I asked. I was full half way into it so I packed it away for later. I’m still looking for the best beef in Kenosha but I would get the beef again while at the mall. Taco bell, Md and pizza hut are close but if you want something different this is a good alternative. I wonder how the meat ball is.

Not the best pizza I’ve had. They were very chintzy on the toppings and the price was high for what you got. The delivery was late and overall it was just not the greatest pizza. With so many good pizza places in Kenosha I wouldn’t waste the money here! I was so disappointed as we used to order from Rosati’s Pizza near our old home in Illinois with much better success.
