History

Established in 2009.

Built in 1864, the home has served many purposes including a Family homestead, civil war safe haven & school house. Restored in 1994 & used as a home furnishing & design store by Terry & Kathy Loyd. Later converted into an Event Venue.

Business Owner

Kathy Loyd owned a furniture store at this location for 17 years. When the economy crashed, we had to close our store. We had our son’s Rehearsal Dinner at the Rose Cottage & I was hooked. We are different from other venues in that we truly want your Wedding or Event to be what «You» want.
