Yes, you read that right, any David will literally repair your vehicle while you work, at your home while you spend time with your family, or even on the side of the road (should you ever find yourself stranded). Serving Kennesaw and the surrounding areas, David operates a 100% mobile auto repair service.

Don’t let the name fool you though, Diesel David is not just for diesels.

Established in 2014.

Diesel David Inc was nurtured to life by the owner David. His specialties started out in the Gasoline field and then were honed in on the diesel world starting with his training when he was just 18 years old.

Starting at the age of 12, Diesel David rebuilt his first motor on a Go-​Kart that he purchased for 50 $ with money from cutting grass. It didn’t end there, Diesel David went on to pioneer the Dual Enrollment Automotive Technology program with North Metro Technical Colleges during his junior year of high school at Carlton J Kell. After earning over 14 college credit hours before he turned 17, Diesel David graduated high school a semester early and immediately started on his Automotive Technology Degree which he earned in 2012 with Honors. The thirst for knowledge and learning never ceased for Diesel David, he earned his ASE certifications, and became Certified on Bridgestone and Michelin tires.

Today Diesel David enjoys offering a level of service that cannot be found elsewhere, when he isn’t serving customers, he likes to enjoy the beautiful outdoors, and the joys of being on the water on Lake Allatoona.

Diesel Dave came out to service my Acura, one he was familiar with from a month prior. In December the starter went out, so being proactive, we researched and pre-​purchased the parts needed to complete the job (obviously not Diesel Dave’s’ parts). Being the car was stranded at a parking garage in Atlanta, Dave was pleasantly surprised and fixed it up same day and off we went. Part we purchased turned out faulty, he had to return in Jan to do it all over again (using his parts this time and giving mine back to return).

Great, convenient service. Impressed with how quickly the job was done. Not only was it done quickly but it was done well. David explained what he was doing while he was working. Very friendly. He came on time. Overall impressed with Diesel David and will be using his services again. I don’t plan on going anywhere else from now on! He was efficient, convenient, prompt and friendly. I would highly recommend to anyone!

After my truck broke down on Christmas eve. I had no clue what to do and where to go. I needed my truck back up and running and didn’t have where to turn. That’s when I found deisel Dave. After a few good recommendations I gave him a call. He right away made some time from his holiday break and came to fix my truck on a Sunday morning. Very quick and clean service. Dave really knows what he is doing and is not trying to up sell you on repairs you don’t need. I will definitely use him again. And will reccomnd him to anyone looking for a good and honest mechanic.

They had a mechanic onsite within 2 hours of the first phone call to do pre-​purchase inspection. Honest mechanics give the pros and cons when doing a PPI. The mechanic called me and immediately explained the truck was very cold blooded and operated poorly! So glad to have Unilocal to help us find great mechanics that do what they say they will and save us huge hassles later. Thank you Diesel David!

When I say this is the BEST mechanic I have ever had I mean it. He is by far the most honest mechanic I have let work on my car. Other places would have taken hours and cost an arm and a leg he was quick and proficient in his work with a good price, I highly recommend ANYONE to let him work on your car.

I’m a DIY kind of guy so I know a thing and won’t be fooled. However, it’s all about time… I have none! Dave came to me, replaced my upgraded left side inter cooler pipe from a typical turbo boost blowout in half the time it would’ve ever taken me! Easy explanation, knowledgeable, quality quote, fast service, time saving!!!

I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for automotive service, especially diesel maintenance. David was fairly priced compared to other shops I’ve taken my truck to and I feel way more confident in his abilities than anywhere else it’s been.

First and foremost I have NEVER written any sort of online review… but felt compelled to do so after my experience with Diesel David earlier today. I have a 2004 Chevy Duramax that was leaking coolant pretty bad. Took it to the dealership a few weeks ago and they could not diagnose the problem on the day I brought it in, and told me to come back. Called David on Sunday of last week-​he answered the phone (yes on Sunday) and explained the process to me and asked for me to set up an appointment through his very user friendly web site. My appointment was for today (Saturday) and I received a phone call from David on Friday night to confirm. David showed up this morning (oh yeah did I mention he is mobile and comes to you!) on time and had the problem diagnosed in under 15 minutes, then repaired in less than an hour.
Most of my past experiences with service shops have ended with great disappointment. Most mechanics have a short term goal to make as much money from their customers as possible by overselling unnecessary repairs. You can tell that Diesel David is looking to build a long term business based on word of mouth and repeat customers based on quality, fair prices, and most importantly TRUST!
I read the other reviews here on Unilocal and was very skeptical at first, but I gave Diesel David a try. I can assure you the great reviews her are legit-​Diesel David is your guy!

Finding a mechanic who 1) knows his stuff 2) is accurate in his assessment of the problem and 3) quickly fixes things gave me piece of mind.
Love his customer focused communication also. Dave showed up on time, called me with updates and sent me to another expert when a specialize tool to diagnose an issue was not part of his tool bag.

Without a shadow of a doubt, Diesel David’s is the best thing to happen to vehicles since sliced bread. I was short on time the other day, but needed an oil change. David met me at the restaurant we were eating at. He changed my oil, and rotated my tires all while my family and I were inside eating lunch.
I’m fortunate to have known David for several years, but for those of you who haven’t…take a chance. David is 100% mobile, meaning he will fix your car or perform maintenance requests at your home, work, or anywhere else in between. It’s certainly a service worth using. I hate waiting on my car to be worked on… being at home while it’s worked on is sooo convenient. That’s all.

I used Diesel David to check out a chevrolet silverado 2500HD with the Duramax Diesel engine. I was very impressed with David’s communication and punctuation for keeping our appointment time. David’s experience was quite evident, I usually fix all my own cars but not having equipment or experience for a diesel engine I use David.
I’m so glad I did, David hooked his computer to the truck, and after a short drive around was able to tell the health of the engine. David’s keen eye for detail helped point out a leak in the water pump that I hadn’t seen. Altogether David’s honesty, excellent attitude, flexibility, and experience, are but a few reasons for my full endorsement of his service. I will use his service again. FIVE STARS

David has helped me tremendously on any of my cars problems over the years– and trust me, I have had plenty! Not only does David take the time to figure out what the problem is, no matter how obscure, but he does it with a smile at a great, honest rate. What really impresses me above all about David is his customer service. I have been to many auto technicians but no one did it as genuinely pleasant as David does. Although I hope I don’t have any car problems in the near future, I know that if I do, David is just a single phone call away.
